Harhhhhh?? Did Kubo come visit you and tell you that the Fullbring Arc SHOULD finish soon?? OR is it that YOU want it to finish soon? Logically speaking, it is still somewhere in the beginning. The shinigamis just made their appearance. Nothing much has been explained yet. There's a reason why Kubo's the mangaka of Bleach and not you.
No, not much is ever explained in Bleach nowadays. By that sort of thinking anyone can be a mangaka, you're not a mangaka either. That doesn't mean you have to accept any crap that comes your way.

You got to be kidding me. You call this an argument? Then how do you explain Squad 11?? They only specialize in zanpakuto-only combat. That renders your Kido argument invalid, doesnt it? Besides, Hitsuga doesnt use Kido when he attacks either. Neither does Komamura nor Gin, just to name a few.
Considering that you don't have an argument except using petty, immature insults, then, yes.
Each squad has its' only specialty. I never said everyone know kido, that renders your complaint useless, don't put words in my mouth. I also said that other shinigamis have their own techniques and special moves/attacks.

And I dont know how you define 'clever strategy', but learning to read an opponent's move and thinking of a counter is more than just 'charging forward'. Zangetsu's power is basically a burst of energy forward in a straight line, what we all know as Getsuga Tenshou. In the same way, Gin's zanpakuto power, for example, is also basically extension and contraction at high speed. The difference is how he uses this power. As I have mentioned, if Ichigo was just using Getsuga Tenshou with no strategy or whatsoever when he fights, it would mean that all his wins were just based on plain luck and if that was true, no one would be reading Bleach and Kubo would be out of a job.
Except Ichigo doesn't do that, he either spams Getsuga Tenshou until it's powerful enough to defeat an opponent or his hollow/Zangetsu helps him. People read Bleach because it's popular because it used to be good, now many of them are either wanting to know how it ends/hoping it improves by some miracle.

Only someone that has never fought himself would consider combat in close range as being 'charging forward'.

You mean someone like you? All Ichigo does is spam Getsuga Tenshou at his opponents as well as a some sword swinging, if you want to call that 'close combat'.

A fight is fast paced and all these strategy that look like they would take time to set up you see often in manga are ridiculous and exageration. They aren't good and they are actually proof of a mangaka that cannot pull of good fight properly without relying on irealistic manoeuver.
Except in Bleach it isn't fast paced since it gets dragged on and on like in Hueco Mundo and Fake Karakura Town.

I think that it's funny how people want Ichigo to do more crazy things and at the same time say that bleach was better at the time where Ichigo could only fight with his sword.
It's funny because those fights are better because there's some actual effort and detail put into those action sequences and not some bs excuse like his hollow bringing him back to life for the umpteenth time and then suddenly making him stronger.

Training takes time, Ichigo hadn't the time to make his move flashy or to learn kido, he was on constant pressure and didn't have a real moment of tranquility ever since he got his power (excluding the part where he lost them).
On contrast, Captain got all the time they want because they rarely enter in fight themselve, they had years and years to masters their skills.
That's still time wasted that could have been spent on Ichigo actually learning new techniques/moves that would actually benefit him in future fights. He could have learned how to use kido, cero, or any other techniques instead of using the same 1 attack in a different outfit.

Ichigo on the other hand had to rely on his sole advantage to win and that was is spiritual pressure. He developed basic swordmanship through his fight and had not the time to develop anything else as he had to increase what he could already do well to protect him and his friends.
He had plenty of time when he was training, Ichigo just chose to do the same thing over and over again.

Comparing Ichigo to a captain, or to any shinigami that attended the shinigami 'school' is ridiculous.
It's not nearly as ridiculous as Ichigo suddenly getting power ups/relying on his hollow/Zangetsu for help.
