Bleach Chapter 470 Discussion

One thing Mister Annoying forgot (?) -

Aizen arc took about 9 years to complete. Fullbring arc is not even 1 year. -.-

Argument that GT variations are still the same GT -

Hitsugaya still uses ice both in shikai and bankai. Ryūsenka,Hyōten Hyakkasō and Hyōryū Senbi, for example, all are variations on the usage of 'ice'.

Byakuya's bankai, although complex, is still a variation of the Senbonzakura.

Renji's bankai has the same kind of extension that his shikai has.

Therefore, no matter how complex the bankai is, it is always related to the shikai. It's just that Ichigo's GT variations are more similar to the 'original' one. But like the other shinigami, which variation of GT he uses makes a difference.

If they are the same, it's like saying whichever he uses doesnt make any difference. So why does he need the hollow and bankai, or even go to the extreme of taking up the Final GT form?

No, not much is ever explained in Bleach nowadays.  By that sort of thinking anyone can be a mangaka, you're not a mangaka either.  That doesn't mean you have to accept any crap that comes your way.

1. nothing is explained because its not the right time yet, and its not even anywhere near the end. Why are u so impatient for explanations?

2. well, you can drop bleach right now because Kubo said Bleach might go on for another 10 years and he has written down the main storyline on paper.

Considering that you don't have an argument except using petty, immature insults, then, yes.

Go cry to mummy, wont you. I wouldnt even call it an insult. The whole point of your argument is that Ichigo is dumb compared to the other shinigamis. Because they have kido and other special techniques but Ichigo only has 1 stupid Getsuga Tenshou that he uses without any strategy.

Except Ichigo doesn't do that, he either spams Getsuga Tenshou until it's powerful enough to defeat an opponent or his hollow/Zangetsu helps him.  People read Bleach because it's popular because it used to be good, now many of them are either wanting to know how it ends/hoping it improves by some miracle.

^

Except that some of us knows that there's still much more to be told and we are used to Kubo's trolling.

For example,

1. Ichigo suddenly appears in front of Rukia right before she was executed. No mention of whether he mastered Bankai or not. The hint is yes, because he was there but the question was how did he manage to learn it in time? The answer was shown during the fight with Byakuya quite a few chapters later.

2. Backstory of the Vizards (and a bit of Urahara) was 2 arcs after when they first appeared. That is more than 2 good years in the manga.

3. Again, Ichigo suddenly arrives before Aizen kills Rangiku. No mentioned of what happened between him and Tensa Zangetsu. The hint is that he mastered the Final Getsuga Tenshou but the question is how and why din Tensa Zangetsu want Ichigo to learn that skill. The answer was revealed just before Ichigo used Mugetsu.

Moral of story......

Let's all learn to wait patiently for answers, shall we? (:

Hey Miss Annoying, the Fullbring arc shouldn't last that long.  The Aizen arc dragged on way too long.  The Fullbring arc is a year, it started at the end of October last year.

Except they know kido, and there are different uses to their attacks.

With Ichigo, it's just charging forward and Getsuga Tenshou enemies over and over again, sometimes with a different form, but still the same attack.  There's no clever strategy or anything.

lol @ rukia.

Not too worried about Ginjou being able to imitate Ichigo; with the exception of his bankai & hollow (can he even still hollowfy? Only his shinigami powers were restored, correct me if I'm wrong), that only leaves him with Getsuga, which really isn't impressive nor effective after repeated use.

Wasted chapter.

Wow, Kubo actually put effort into his art this chapter?!? I'm referring to that one Ginjou panel; t'was pretty badass.

Hurrah! Some lame-o backstory of how they were poor/outsiders/outcasts next chapter.

Only someone that has never fought himself would consider combat in close range as being 'charging forward'.

A fight is fast paced and all these strategy that look like they would take time to set up you see often in manga are ridiculous and exageration. They aren't good and they are actually proof of a mangaka that cannot pull of good fight properly without relying on irealistic manoeuver.

I think that it's funny how people want Ichigo to do more crazy things and at the same time say that bleach was better at the time where Ichigo could only fight with his sword.

Training takes time, Ichigo hadn't the time to make his move flashy or to learn kido, he was on constant pressure and didn't have a real moment of tranquility ever since he got his power (excluding the part where he lost them).

On contrast, Captain got all the time they want because they rarely enter in fight themselve, they had years and years to masters their skills.

Ichigo on the other hand had to rely on his sole advantage to win and that was is spiritual pressure. He developed basic swordmanship through his fight and had not the time to develop anything else as he had to increase what he could already do well to protect him and his friends.

Comparing Ichigo to a captain, or to any shinigami that attended the shinigami 'school' is ridiculous.

I like how you phrased this calmly and clearly. It is true that readers tend to forget the time constraint in Ichigo's training. 10 days before entering Soul Society. 3 days to Bankai. 1 week to master hollowfication (if I din remember wrongly). I guess Ichigo must be the type that performs under pressure. xD

And yes, I must admit that it is difficult to just compare Ichigo with the Shinigami and even Vizards. However, many haters love to give excuses about how lame Bleach based on Getsuga Tenshou versus other Captain's zanpakuto's power. Ichigo is like a 'species' on his own, if may I say... Many fail to look at him as a unique individual without comparing with the other groups.

Oh yes, Kubo promised an awesome story about Ichigo's birth. Let's all look forward to it! xD

Ginjou has got some of Ichigo's power, huh ?

Great, now that Kubo has trolled the audience more than enough, he's switched to trolling his own characters )))
