Not really because he's fought stronger people than those two. Plus like I said their dragon force was a pale shadow compared to the two instances Natsu used it. Go and compare pages and you will realize how fragile these twin dragons really were.

Mashima out did the last trolling by quite a bit here and I see he barely gives a shit on power scaling. Pretty much if you got someone from fairy tail insulted or attacked, a tear here and there, nakama power will somehow win the battle. Add to the fact that Natsu once again pulled something out of his ass to win his battle with another nakama punch, I am not suprised anymore.



This manga has been going downhill for the last couple of arcs and I thought this arc would spike my interest but alas once again Mashima disappoints. Considering the amount of people not liking the chapter and a few fairy tards defending this chapter to the bone, I think collectively this chapter was bad.



On to the next chapter with Mashima trolling god knows what....he is good at trolling but not as bad Kubu. Lets see how this plays out.



The Fairy Tards have to defend it because the masses are just so damn..... irrational.



Complaining about Nakama speeches in FT is like complaining about bloody deaths in a horror.

How in Zerefs name does this make sense.



What did he pull out?

Every single technique used in this battle were ones he already possessed, and which he gradually improvised and strengthened throughout his many battles.

The main reasoning for this isn't baseless, Blue Pegasus and Lamia Scale clearly said their position was not first place. If they had won before, they clearly would have made this statement and really, Jason's comments and statistics are extremely unreliable.

And no, I'm not hating. There is a difference between a fan and a blind fan. I can't accept every illogical  shit that is thrown my way. I just can't except this difference in power. This chapter seriously damaged my score of Fairy Tail.

They were strong cause they had no competition over the past 7 years. >_> Your fault for falling for the falacy that is Sting and Rogue's claim that they killed their own dragon. FFS look at Acnologia, look at Igneel. A RUNT WOULDN'T even dent that! Seriously those who feel disappointed about Sting and Rogue Losing have only themselves to blame. People who enjoy this chapter are blind? No no. The ones who ate up all of ST's claims and the third Generation's words, are the blind ones.

Wow..........I wasn't expecting this fight to end like that! Natsu, came out on top in a freakin handicap match! Sting and Rogue were in like Super Saiyan 3, and Natsu was able to polish them off in his basic Saiyan form! I thought this fight was going to be an all out war, but boy was I wrong! Although it was really cool to see Natsu go to town on Sting and Rogue, I still wish Gajeel would have gotten his chance to whale on them too. Sting and Rogue were grossly overrated in this arc, but at least their powers were cool! At this point I'm really hoping that they get excommunicated from Sabertooth and end up joining Fairy Tail! They would make great additions to the guild as well as to the story, wouldn't you all agree?! lol.

If you read Fairy Tail for the action, then it get's a solid 5/5, you won't find another manga with better action very fast.



If however you want your manga to have a good story, then this manga is, slowly, getting worse compared to the arcs before this.



The first thing that bothers me is how Lucy seems to be someone with the roll of getting beaten most of the time (luckily not all the time...) just to give Natsu & co a reason to take revenge on the eneemy.

Btw, in this fight something like this can again be seen, although not like the times before. Personally I'd want the battle against Minerva to be the moment of "revenge", not this fight, but that's just my own opinion...



2nd thing I dislike are the often random power ups, although that isn't really the case now, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about ;)

I'm not saying I'm against power ups, but I like them more if they have a (good) reason, like in One Piece or Dragonball and even Naruto.



A 3rd thing I'd love to have seen diffrent is..."losing". Because of the often random power ups, Natsu & co are getting somewhat "unbeatable"

I'm sure some or many like this but I prefer characters that achieve something because they worked for it ! They win, sometimes lose, train/work hard and overcome an earlier obstacle. Again, just my opinion.



A 4th thing i dislike, and this is realy a shame, is that this manga is getting predictable....not good...



About this chapter: the fight was a disappointment as some people have already said. Why overhype them if you'll make them lose like this ?

One reason: To show how strong Natsu is......could have been done in another way.



I'd also like seeing more action NOT done by Natsu, Erza or Gajeel. It would be nice if the other characters got a bit more attention (and win without getting help from Natsu xP *cough* Lucy *cough*).



All in all, I stil like Fairy Tail but the weak points made it drop from my 2nd most favourite manga to somewhere at the bottem of my top 10....



(So don't bother saying i'm a hater, that I should drop it or whatever. Typing a small text with critiqe doesn't mean someone hates fairy Tail....)



-I think the story is just beginning to get interesting.The arcs before this look,to me,like just preparation arcs for the real thing(since most of them showed some of FT members backstory).



In this arc we're finally getting close to the Dragon king Festival,Zeref seems to be there as well,and there's a lot to expect by the end of this arc.I think the story keeps getting better to me.



-The power up stuff,like you mentioned,didn't happen this time,so there's no reason to talk about it at this moment.



-About Sting and Rogue,I think a lot of people answered already:They never fought at all,how can they have been overhyped?They were at the top with SaberTooth because there wasn't anyboy better in Fiore.



-I don't think the manga is predictable.At least I can't predict what's going to happen after this fight.
