As I said before, there were no power ups on Natsu's said whatsoever. He and Gajeel LET Sting and Rogue beat them up a little so they could see through their moves and fighting habits, that is all there is to it and it was even clearly stated by Natsu in 295.



Let me repeat myself - we never had any confirmation on Twin Dragons power - ale we had were their claims, nothing more. We never saw them fight, just as we never saw Natsu and Gajeel fight after second origin training (aside from the ST quarters raid). Natsu was stronger than Sting and Rogue combined from the very beginning of the fight.

Actually I can. I didn't see any new special move and he was supposed to have powered up thanks to Ultear's Second Origin. He never went all out so you can't accuse him of powering up when the only fight we saw before this was the one where he attacked ST's lodgings.



Then why did Natsu and Gejeel get owned so hard in the previous chapter?

And second origin cant be stronger then Dragon Force. Afterall, Natsu used dragon Force to defeat Jellal (one of the 10 strongest wizards).

IMO: the fight should have ended here. Its just a yearly tournement and nothing is on the line exept some prestige. Why does natsu have to win evry fight solo, it just gets boring ;.

Sting and Rogue had actual personality, something that Jellal, Laxus and Ultear didnt.

Plus they had a good reason to win this fight, since they have been training for the last 8 to 10 years for this fight specificly.

Nakama power (or w/e its called) should have been on their side not with Natsu.

But i clearly was expecting to much from Mashima

Sting and Rogue were not trolled >_>. Overconfidence was their downfall. It's easy to win a race against the champion when the champion doesn't even bother running in it. The same goes to ST being No.1 in Fiore.

Their dragon force was still strong enough to kill their respective dragons. I'm not saying they should've won since Natsu is stronger in terms of raw potential power up but i wanted him to at least work for it a little.



Instead of what turned out to be a training session. The fight was hyped up alot but it ended up being disappointing...to me at least.



Kill their dragons? Sure. If you want to believe little kids can take out mythical creatures when not even at the peak of their development. Sorry but I don't see that happening.
