And lastly we shall see how ST's master will react to this humilation. Both DSs will be kicked out for sure.

I thought this chapter was pretty good. It took a while but I was finally able to see Sting and Rogue get their asses handed to them. Now we just need to see Minerva get her ass kicked to and get Makorov to beat the crap out of Sabertooth leader.

Don't forget about Gray getting back at Rufus and Laxus getting a shot at Orga.

Well, yeah. The thing is that not every tournament has to be exciting till the end or even end,as shown on other manga.

what? Spending over 30 chapters on a tournament that's not exciting is a big fail from the mangaka.

I mean that it doesn't have to be exciting on every single moment. After all there's always some rather weak fights to be covered(unless the author jumps all of them). All tournament arcs I've read were like this.Even those whose focus was the tournament. That's because not every person on the tournament can be strong or at least interesting.

In Fairy Tail's case it has been excited on most of the time and it's getting better now,as we're having FT vs ST and getting close to the end, where we'll probably understand much of what's behind the curtains here.

Ah found it. I was right! ST won only once. Wow so all the hype they had was in fact the misconception of the fandom. I find that amusing and can't help but think Mashima intended it that way.

http://www.mangainn.com/manga/chapter/84707_special-grand-magic-games-guide-book/page_9 Word of God has spoken on the matter so good luck debunking this bit.

Sabretooth only winning the tournament once is never even said on that page. It's indirectly stated Sabretooth has been the top for the seven years Fairy Tail has been missing as Lamia Scale was always second in that time (without having Lyon/Jura participating of course) and that the five people who made Sabretooth big appeared seven years ago.

Anyway, alright chapter. I can't wait for the other fights tho, specifically Gray's and Minerva (who I am still hoping Mirajane fights if she replaces Natsu being the reserve - assuming he's injured enough to be replaced).

"Their victory last time spread their name far and wide throughut the continent and currently they are the #1 guild in Fiore!"

If they had won it before, they would already be famous. But it says that their name spread only thanks to this last time victory. It isn't that clear, but it seems like they only won one last time.

I absolutly hated it, it makes no sence that Natsu can defeat both of them w/o breaking a sweat

while Sting owned Natsu and Gajeel a moment ago.

I didnt mind mashima trolling some, but these last 2 chapters .. its just absurd.

In my eyes this manga is now going seriously downhill, while the start of this arc was so epic :/

@Darklight0303, your main reason of accepting all this is that the Dragon guys were too hyped? Thats some nice reasoning right there...

If Natsu beat both Laxus and Mystogan in the beginning of entire saga, what would you say? That they were hyped and were actually not that strong? That can be said just about anything really, so your logic fails.

The fact that they can activate Dragon Force on their own proves that they are strong. How do I know that? Because Natsu beat Jellal with Dragon Force who was one of the 10 Ten Wizard Saints who are supposedly STRONG and they just don't let anyone in. If Natsu can beat two of guys equal to avarage strength of 10 Wizards then he might have just be among the powerful beings on the entire planet. And he acquired it in a very classy way too.

But I shouldn't push this matter any more. You are just to much of a fan to see reason.

A 3rd thing I'd love to have seen diffrent is..."losing". Because of the often random power ups, Natsu & co are getting somewhat "unbeatable"

I'm sure some or many like this but I prefer characters that achieve something because they worked for it ! They win, sometimes lose, train/work hard and overcome an earlier obstacle. Again, just my opinion.

Agreed, wholeheartedly.

Compare Natsu's dragon force mode with these two wannabe's. Did you see a dragon shaped aura on Sting or Rogue? Did anyone in that arena think they saw a dragon on the two? Hell no. That's all the proof I need that their dragon force is inferior.
