Back to the scene where SQS presents HC with a watch.
SQS was glad to hear that HC liked it, since when he swiped the card he indeed felt a bit distressed for the price, but since HC likes it so much it was worth it all the while. This is what he and HC learnt, first give a small surprise and then give a big surprise to make ppl even happier. And the happiness he felt during Christmas HC can feel now too. SQS was very satisfied smiling at HC. HC turned his head to look at that smiling face and kissed his face uncontrollably. SQS didn't refuse, but the more he was like this the more the heat wave in HC's heart was surging hitting his heart with this unknown feeling. He kept pecking SQS on his face, which made SQS wonder how HC became so clingy, although HC is usually gentle but now he's too gentle. HC offered to send him to filming, SQS of course refused but in the end sent the nanny car away and let HC sent him to the filming site.
SQS felt their identities reversed, usually he is the one who likes this type of intimacy, but now it's HC who reluctantly let go after having enough of hugs and kisses. SQS thought HC is quite cute, he is a rich person, but still liked this type of inexpensive gift.

HC was reluctant to part, but also suddenly realized that he was actually on vacation now unlike SQS and made a decision. He felt he was confused before, how could he forget, HC entered elevator and told about his aim to stay playing a bit of indifferent card, but SQS was happy instantly and did not refute.
BXG saw the two coming to set and instantly went to ask HC saying they progressed a lot, HC showed off the watch. Also saying there's three piece giftset watch, cufflinks and a tie clip to which HC said in their house it's a car, a house and a contract. BXG was speechless turning away now realizing that HC is so vulgar. HC still didn't stop and kept asking and flaunting if BXG knew how much the watch costs, hinting that SQS spent so much of his income on his gift. BXG mocked how could they poor people understand, but HC retorted for BXG not to be vulgar, the most important is the heart behind it, leaving BXG speechless again. He angrily said that HC will figh this fight alone from now on, SQS victims alliance is no more. HC stopped him for fear to lose only ally he had in this matter. But BXG looked at him who has a face to obviously show off, aren't you the one unreserved. And how much he likes SQS, it's shocking. BXG confirmed HC is on vacation and stays and told about how SQS spent so much time on choosing the gift when he scrolled mobile every free minute he had, which surprised HC, since he had no idea and SQS didn't present it as anything special, saying he just bought it along the way. He now knew how thoughtful that made this gift, looking at SQS he felt that the other person became cuter and cuter. Not at all eartless like before! HC was so excited that he shared it with his three friends. While after his long speech others asked if he finished showing off? WY even started barking in the chat, which totally threw HC off, he was just shared, what showing off. YMY told him that even if he doesn't mean all his words are filled with showing off, WY was most affected in a positive way sayinghow sweet it is.
When SQS came back after he asked if HC was bored, but HC pointed to his phone that he's ok, so SQS took the script and HC didn't bother SQS with his work, but director who passed by stopped looking at HC and later found SQS to inquire info on HC and if he would like to film since he had all the looks and temperament, but SQS said that HC wouldn't be interested in their industry, after all he's the son of the richest man. But director who wasn't convinced so he found HC himself, but HC said he is a driver, same thing SQS said and said he is content with his job so director had to give up. But it fed HC's esteem and him thinking that it's expected from him.
SQS sent HC back after he spent two days on site and came back to work with meeting held before the end of the year, of course ppl after meeting distanced from two brother and HC since long been accustomed to people misunderstanding their relationship. HC reached to push the elevator button but HY noticed HC's watch and asked if he had trouble and had no money and if he should give him pocket money. But it ticked HC instead he asked what was wrong with his watch? Doesn't it suit him? But HY was questioning inside why cheap should be complementary of his brother. But suddenly he realized and asked where the watch came from, so HC claimed proudly he got it from a friend, which HY tried to guess if it was the same friend that he wanted give a cage to? HC did not answer. But HY still continued to inquire and asked if the person gave him watch, does it mean that HC gave them the cage? HC asked why HY remembers those things, aren't company afffairs more important, but HY assured him that emotional growth of his brother is way more important, company products can be scrapped, but HC not. So, did he give the cage? If not the brother can sponsor him. HC walked out angrily as soon as the door opened, which only made HY enjoy the view of his obviously angry back. He wondered when HC will introduce the future sister-in-law to him. Maybe it will take some time, since HC still doesn't admit it n front of him.
Back in the office HC had coffee brought by secretary and she took a look at the watch, but was too attentive making HC ask what is wrong, so she expressed that it is rare for him to wear a watch. HC asked if it looks good and was satisfied to get 'it looks good' in return, so he promised big red envelope. But the secretary who returned to her desk was instead distressed after checking the price tag, feeling that HC was bullied himself, but still promised red envelope.
But unlike secretary HC wanted to send something to SQS back for the watch. When he got back he already smashed rockets on SQS's novel page, but this is different, he wants to give the same gift - a watch. So he picked up some brands and watches he liked and sent it to the group of friends, while others asked why he wanted a new one when he just got a watch, but joined teasing HC for this and discussion when HC said it was for SQS, yet the discussion didn't lead anywhere, since everyone liked different watches for different reasons. And later agreed that it should coincide with what SQS would like, so he should somehow find it out. HC thought of BXG and sent this brother a message asking to inadvertently ask SQS which watch he'd choose and sent him the pictures. BXG wondering about how much HC loved SQS found opportunity when SQS finished filming and asked about the watches and gave him the pictures, SQS wondered why he was thinking about buying another one, he just got a new watch, but BXG quickly said it was for different looks, out of all SQS chose one that had a delicate bamboo on the dial, since he has a bamboo in his name. SQS even wanted BXG to help him get it, but BXG stopped him and said he didn't decide and what if they get same model, they might get talks because of that. SQS wondered what talks could there be, they're not a boy and a girl pair with couple items. But he still agreed. But then wondered how much the watch costs, but BXG had no idea, so he brushed it off as if he hasn't watched, making SQS think that of course rich ppl don't look at those things. The mission was accomplished and BXG sent the picture back and explained why SQS liked it praising himself as a good socialist brother. HC laughed and sent a red envelope.
SQS took another period of time to finally finish filming right before the Chinese New Year. HC before asked to pick him up when he was done, but SQS did not want to toss HC who always came to the set, so he decided to make a surprise, he arrived early at home by himself and couldn't help but feel how he missed this place. He burried himself into pillow on the bed and started to browse Internet before it was time for HC to get off work so he sent him an inquiring message what he was doing and said it's going to be another two days before he returns home, HC of course asked to tell him when to pick him up. Finishing SQS turned off the lights and lay in bed ordering takeout. After six HC finally arrived and before he could put the keys down he was greeted by a cheerful 'Surprise!', which made HC freeze in place and turn his head in shock. SQS walked in front of him with a smile on his face looking at HC's shocked face and said that he's back. HC laughed and asked wasn't it two days more for shooting, but SQS said he wanted to tease HC. HC pretended to be angry asking he dared to tease him? But of course SQS didn't mind this fake anger and confidently admitted 'yes'. HC grabbed the person into a hug.
SQS, raising his hand to hug HC back: I miss you so much.
HC: Me too.
The two hugged and kissed.
The New Year was around the corner and even HC's parents reminded him to turn back home, but HC who was afraid SQS will be left alone said he'll wait for another two days, parents agreed and asked to turn back with his brother. Hanging up the phone he analyzed that with SQS's character it is very unlikely that he will return to Shen house. But what if he takes him to Han house, after all they don't lack this pair of chopsticks. Even if HY would ridicule him to death, but it was better than SQS staying at home alone, so he planned to discuss with SQS about it. As expected SQS refused to go to Shen house saying he doesn't want to ruin that lucky family, so he will be HC's house, but after HC suggested to go with him SQS refused. HC asked why, but SQS shook his head saying he can do it by himself, thinking he doesn't need it, he'd be too embarrassed to celebrate NY in somone else's home. HC couldn't understand that's why SQS vocalized about embarrassment of the situation and the reason why he disliked NY in general, and expressed his feelings from previous life how once a year he had to see relatives he never saw the other day, he turned back not being able to communicate with anyone, since he has no idea what people talked about, he felt left out and had to use his phone to at least somehoe alevate boredom and eat food, which wasn't necessary his favorites. So he appreciated HC's kindness but he won't go. HC tried to make SQS change his decision but failed, he can't overtalk SQS. For every question HC had SQS gave him a reasonable reply. But when HC said he'll be back as soon as possible SQS said it was not necessary, it is a rare family reuinion, so it made HC think that here comes the scumbag heart again. He tried so heart, but this heartless man doesn't appreciate it. He was irritated so he bit on SQS's face, then squeezed kissed the bitten place and went to take shower. SQS was a bit surprised, after checking good thing it wasn't deep, so let HC bite however he wanted, as long as it does nto leave a mark. He leaned against the bed and started to fill the memo with new chapter, after all NY is not for authors to take a holiday. HC who came out caught a glimpse of Cheng Han who secretly wanted to steal a kiss and picked up a phone dissatisfied demanding that why he is the one to take action, he also wants to get a secret kiss stolen, but SQS grabbed the phone back asking not to disturb his inspiration. HC was sitting on the side wiping his hair silently, but when SQS was done he beckoned him to come over and asked to wipe his hair shoving the towel in SQS's hands. SQS's time of leisure before filming started again. SQS was typing on computer when he received a video call from mother Shen, but seeing it was her he ignored the phone, but it was obvious she was determined, even though for SQS her goal was obvious, he picked up the phone switching to voice.
Mother Shen: Xiao Shu, New Year is soon, you should go home too, you can not go home even if you're angry with mom and dad.
SQS: Why? Do you want to let me go back?
Mother Shen: Of course, there is no overnight hatred between parents and children.
SQS: But it is obvious that we have one, we're not mother and child, otherwise how could we not get separated, there's a lot of grudges.

SQS didn't bother with these parents, he knew them too well these vain people. Even if he ever comes back it won't be now, if he comes back now those two won't regret mistakes they made. SQS would wait when he becomes popular with his face on TV and in other place that will hit both parents swollen. SQS didn't care about the Shen house, but he liked face-slapping. HC who got back later due to working overtime saw the light in the room and now could finally feel at home. SQS was still typing but seeing HC got up and asked him to cook, HC sighed deliberately that he's a driver and a cook. SQS was ready to punch him saying that to ride the mountain people need gas, which only made HC joke touching SQS's stomach that he fed SQS plenty last night, the two pushed and pulled about the eadible gas etc. before going to kitchen together, one cooking and one helping. HC asked SQS to go on Satturday to buy some NY goods. SQS asked why, but HC only sighed and explained otherwise SQS will starve at home. SQS who washed vegetables lookd in surprise. Thinking that HC is really concerned about him, now those parents who don' even care that their son has no money to feed himself, but this genuine help when instead of promising to do things HC just does them. SQS laughed and agreed to go together. HC seeing SQS decided to play and splashed few water drops, so both had a small childish water fight, only stopping in a while, but then HC did it again which made SQS shocked, he was about to collect enough water but HC stopped his hand and kissed his face. The kiss was warm and tender.
On agreed day both drove to the market, but one that is membership only. They drove the cart putting everything they wanted into a pile when SQS heard someone calling 'Xiao Shu?'. Seeing Mother Shen with another woman not far away SQS nodded politely at the other woman. MS didn't expect to see SQS here and he didn't look desperate as they expected, instead with white face and tender cheeks with fashinable clothes. He looked more like a young master. In her memory he was cowering and taciturn.
MS: Whya are you here?
SQS: Buying things

MS who didn't want to talk in front of her friend sent her away and asked to speak with SQS alone, but SQS refused. SQS was lazy to deal with her and wanted to go away.
MS: Xaio Shu, what do you mean?
SQS: Can't you tell? I just don't want to talk to you.
MS, frowning: How can you do this?

HC said that problem of vanity is mother's problem, he is totally different person. MS tried to say she teaches her son,b but HC said he will defent her boyfriend. MS said that he is jealous of Xiao Yu so he even uses this time to frame Xiao Yu, what honesty, but it didn't change anything. Anyway they ended the play of I have such a family and not worthy of you with a touching hug, but mother Shen used this as a mean to get SQS back home, but SQS refused that this is their way of showing love, he likes HC not some Xu Qi, wants HC to reassure him and let him act like a baby. Which threw mother Shen off who said she doesn't agree with them. (like honestly, mam, no one gives a damn about you, your son is an adult and can do and live by himself, kthxbye)
Mother Shen walked away angry saying not to come home crying when he is dumped anry at this blind brain-dead love.
HC: This was your mother?
SQS: Yeah.
The two agreed to buy more, but when they turned around HC froze in place.
Some distance from them SQS saw a handome man who was similar to HC, but had more cold aura about him. And alarm bells rand in HC's head asking - WHY HAN YU IS HERE?

HC felt things were bad, HY saw it and HY actually managed to record another video. HY on the other hand was interested in SQS who he never saw, HC introduced SQS as a friend, but HY noticed the cage necklace and SQS without knowing played a pig teammate selling that it was HC who bought it. SQS had no idea HY knows about the cage. But because he knew the novel content he knew that both brothers had a good relationship and that's why his impression was good, but HC misinterpreted SQS being interested in HY instead and tried to always be between the two. HY asked many questions basically being interested in what type of person HC dates, but when it cane to NY he also asked if he wanted to join their family for it, but again SQS refused, but sold HC again saying he lives with HC and will celebrate alone with netizens. HC was devastated thinking where the witty SQS retired to. In the end HY managed to blackmail HC, thought SQS agreed without any problem, to dine together. They drove to a place and had a pleasant dinner, HY noticed that HC's boyfriend is quite good.
During the meal course SQS went to the bathroom which was hard to find, but after being done saw YJY, but ignored the other person, yet was stopped by HY's words who was worried SQS will not find the bathroom. YJY was surprised they knew each other but SQS winked to play along and they started the theater of 'I ride two boats at the same time theater' with SQS saying that after hearing YJY's reasoning he thought why not, he can do it too and HY though not as good as Oscar-winning Han Cheng in a while got into play saying that he can't do anything about it, he likes SQS. To which YJY said that it's morally wrong, but SQS retorted him that when YJY did it then it was okay, but now SQS was inspired by him, he can't do the same thing? Well, both gladly played their roles of one cold person who stepped from the altar and lost original convictions of never doing such things, since he can do it for SQS, but never for YJY since he didn't like him and SQS who being led by YJY idea stepped on two boats. Which totally fucked YJY up. Ending with HY saying that YJY really made him disappointed, when he is replaced by other ppl it was not ok to do it.
