CHAPTER 37-38

Double releases lately.
The make-up room is entered by the third male lead, Sun Xuan, who at the first look at SQS looked very disdainful. He think that if you play male second and have more traffic than him than it's ok. But if you're practically nobody, then he will feel wrong. And SQS in the eyes of others is this nobody with no previous works but landed as male second (I mean, only stupid won't know that a good role was either got by accident or good backing). So Sun Xuan showed it all in his attitude, not to mention his gf is playing the female lead of this drama and they talked how because the previous actor didn't make it and Sun Xuan was unable to get the second male lead she will talk to screenwriter and basically transfrom the role of second male lead so she can get a CP with her bf. Like who made SQS a nobody, they're in entertainment, so they SQS should not be offended while they don't act polite.
The one who came next was Bai Xuege and right away was occupied by chattering from Sun Xuan which irritated him a lot, but he kept his indifferent appearance, while cursing inside. Sun Xuan also saw that BXG played the game he played so offered to play together before he was soon killed and BXG refused. In all this chaos and attention he saw SQS as an independent island, silent and tranquil.
Soon photographer invited him to shoot which he finished soon and when he almost left he witnessed SQS shooting successfully and being praised by phorographer and actually dropped another compliment, which alerted his Agent Qin Yingyang (QYY) and she said that he already complimented his twice, which isn't his style. But even here Sun Xuan tagged along and asked if XaioBai was already leaving, which made BXG furious inside, how can you call me Xaio Bai, it's a pet name for a dog, at least call me teacher XaiBao don't you have any sense? He looked back at SQS to calm down, since SQS unlike Sun Xuan was quite handsome. And he left.
Sun Xuan who came after SQS to shoot was trying to pose as if he thought he was really cool, while photographer started to guide him looking at him strangely, thinking what this actor thought this was idol campus drama or a working office drama?
Back at the Jianming (SQS's agent, Jianming is shorter, but I can't/won't use his entire name, since it's almost same as HC's friend, I'm sure original name is different by tl sounds almost identical) was asking to remember tomorrow's schedule as it was first day but SQS said he already memorized not only tomorrow's scene, but entire script as well, which made Jianming surprised, so he doubtfully asked if SQS really planned to shoot, to which SQS asked back - Otherwise? COme out and feel life?. In the hotel corridor Xiao Li (SQS's assistant) suddenly tugged at his clothes and pointed at what was across the corridor and they saw a small snake crawling. Unlike Xaio Li Jianming wasn't scared at all saying it was a pet, and when the snake crawled next to SQS when Xiao Li tried to make him step back he unobtrusively picked the snake up, it was a white snake with red eyes, harmless. SO he said he'll go find its' owner to which SQS stopped him and said he should try BXG, after all he once said snakes are cool and he has a snake-shaped ring on his finger, he noticed when back in elevator BXG pushed the button.
On the other hand BXG's two assistants were looking everywhere for BXG's little girl XaioQi, before Jianming cam to the door and assistant almost cried happily seeing that XiaoQi was returned back. BXG asked how he decided to come to them, so it was Jianming who said that because SQS didn't want to make mistakes he watched some interviews and heard that BXG would like to have a snake pet. Soon retiring, BXG thought he said it only a bit after his debut in some unknown magazine, why he read that, unless he was his fan. For sure he was, you wouldn't normally read some unknown magazines to find the info. With XaioQi around his wriat he was in his own world thinking that why wouldn't he have male fans, after all he is good and he approved SQS being his fan, after all he is handsome, he was satisfied that his fans were so upscale. Then he asked QYY if he had play with SQS tomorrow and decided to rest before his play to be in best condition, he can't show badly in front of his fan otherwise one will turn black, but QYY misunderstood him and asked him that he can't do indecent things, he is underage and he will make SQS a criminal, he can't seduce people. To which BXG shocked asking - that's what you think about me? DOn't use her dirty thoughts to guess him. Not really saying anything about his on conclusion that he thinks that SQS is his fan, while QYY on the other hand pitied SQS due to having such a small ancestor under her who gives her heartache and headache.

CHAPTER 54-56

Back to previous episode, SQS asked if the gift was for him, HC teased him to guess, but SQS puffed his cheeks and refused going to the sofa.  HC continued asking if he wouldn't try to guess, but SQS said that it was definitely for him, if it wasn't he'd say 'no' and would make him guess  HC looked inexplicable, after all SQS deserved to be a writer. The gift was a black scarf, which SQS really likes, it was versatile and it had a note of care to it, plus it was really soft. He expressed that he liked it very much. But SQS felt sorry and said that he didn't prepare anything. To which HC thought well certainly a scum heart is still scum. But SQS promised to make it up, although it was surprise for him since they were simply riders and there was no reason to give gifts and yet. SQS offered to order it even now, but HC idea of a gift was definitely not on some item, but on a person in front of him and asked to take initiative today. SQS offered apples he got, since he waited for HC to eat those together. SQS cut the apple with wishing HC a safe and good next year. After eating they were about to eat, SQS used HC's gift to wrap himself and ask if it looked good. HC looked at him looking so well-behaved that one wants to ravage it a bit so he squeezed SQS's face, but then kissed the bulging cheek and lips when SQS looked at him with surprise, but when HC asked if he wanted a bit more he lightly nodded. HC also followed the question saying it looked really good and hooked their fingers together, which made SQS's heart shake. They needed to leave now otherwise they'll never leave. In the car they saw how couples walked around happily and the air was filled with festive atmosphere, they both drove to the previous hotel they used last time. The two had dinner together and washed before going on a mountain road driving. Afterwards SQS as usual leaned and drilled himself into HC's embrace and hugged him. HC could hold back to kiss SQS on the forehead, but when SQS relaxed he reached towards the drawer and took a box and stuffing it into SQS's hands, which made him puzzled. HC said he was stupid, did he believe that only scarf was the only present. SQS was surprised - wasn't it? But HC asked when exactly did he say that the scarf was the present, which made SQS think that indeed it was true. He opened the box and was stupefied. HC said that he promised to buy a cage and lock him up sooner or later. SQS thought HC was too deep into play, but the more he looked and thought about this pendant, the more he liked it, because it showed 1) that HC was the one who meticulously selected this gift and 2) this is something intimate between the two of them, no other person will be able to give him the same pendant, same for HC there won't be people who would give such a pendant to him. These thoughts made the pendant in the eyes of SQS look cuter and cuter. But also the strategy of hC is good, he first gave the scarf, which was already good, but then added a pendant, which only made him happier. SQS rubbed into HC's embrace and said: "Aren't you kissing me? At this time, you should kiss me." And would HC refuse the invitation? Of course not. The next morning after having a meal HC sent SQS to the filming set. Before leaving HC asked how long will it take to finish and SQS estimated hat before the New Year (CHinese NY). SQS had a play this afternoon and before it HC saw how SQS with care took off the pendant and put it into a box like a treasure. And this scene made HC think that whatever the social death scene in front of his friends, it was worth it. He internally thanked ZJM and his girlfriend.
On set SQS asked BXG what he usually would give people if he wanted to give a gift, but BXG answer was really one from the minor. SQS took Jianming to the mall to get his gifts, which made Jianming questioned if brothers also give each other gifts like that. But also made him ask what type of brothers were they, cousins? And asked him aout it, SQS told him to guess, which made HC to return the phrase, that he doesn't need to guess, if he didn't found him a present he'd refuse right away. In the chat for four friends WY was clamoring that they can't get together, together with YMY they had two, ZJM would spend time with his gf. And before the argument was over HC added that although he didn't plan to accompany SQS on NY but since SQS begged he reluctantly agreed. Called it really annoying (bad way to show clinginess ahaha). Entire chat instantly called HC a scum. Even the chat name was modiefied to single HC out. HC thought this setting was really hard to play out.
When leaving at noon from work HC got a call from Han Yu offering to dine together. Then communicating HC shared that he will spend the NY time out with friends, but HY teased if it was the one he wants to give the cage~? HY teased HC a bit, but since HC didn't respond he stopped and asked to go hime early and if he has a bf to tell their parents and him too.
On the other side SQS asked for a leave to which director who had a positive opinion about SQS's working attitude and acting skills readily agreed. SQS decided that this time he will go home, after all HC came to him every time. He told about this matter to HC, which made HC surprised, if his super car finally has a consciousness, but also offered to cook several dishes SQS wants him to cook.
HC again shared the NY news of him spending time together with SQS with a modd as if he can't help it, trying to show that SQS goes to such lengths just to be together with him on NY eve, but the rest was silent, but the rest was silent or concentrated on different points again thinking that HC is a scum, WY also started to sing that how HC this independent individual can live with other, it must be embarrassing, but before HC could agree WY offered to take SQS away from him, after all HC was the one who nagged. HC refused saying that HY's time is too valuable for this, but after hearing HY say that of course the little brother started to dislike him, promised to meet next time. HY wished him to have fun. HY thought to himself, if he wasn't spending time with his gang, was HC really in love? HY entered the elevator, planning to revisit the video again.
HC returned home, changed and started to cook, by the time SQS returned he could smell the sweet and sour aroma, he placed gifts in the bedroom and walked towards the kitchen quietly suddely making a surprise. HC was indeed surprised asking why he returned so soon, but SQS explained there was no traffic so he came this fast. SQS saw that HC was finishing frying shrimps and HC offered to taste it, but SQS just simply opened him mouth wanting to take a bit, which made HC laugh that it was just taken from the pan and he should be careful it is too hot, so he blew a bit and offered it again, it was delicious. HC offered SQS to go and change, SQS agreed but turned around on his way out, HC asked what? But SQS stepped forward hugging, saying with warmth it was nothing, just a hug. SQS went to change, HC thought that SQS seems to be.. really clingly, but his mouth was smiling and his cooking became brisk.
Both sat at the table, SQS on his usual place, for a while he was a bit emotional, after crossing this was a place where he spent most of his time, his stay here is both relaxed and happy and held many interesting memories. Therefore when HC offered to return to his home after filming SQS did not refuse. Originally SQS planned to move out, even now he thought this idea was quite sensible and correct. It was because of money before, but now he has money to support his own living. Doesn't it seem like HC is a bit reluctant? And used to this? HC asked to put it on him and when SQS moved closer and was done HC kissed his face and lips, taking SQS into his arms. The two shared a tender kiss and HC asked if SQS was taking a bath? SQS nodded so they moved towards the bedroom. SQS asked if HC liked the necklace, HC said that of course he liked it a lot, even more he liked his supercar.
When midnight came SQS wished HC a happy new year and wished all the best, happiness and peace, getting the same from HC. This is the first time when HC had a NY year with someone outside of his family. Not in his expectations, but it made HC really happy. Probably being with SQS in itself is a pleasant thing. Before sleeping SQS said that he has a day off tomorrow and they'll stay together. Spending the day off together they didn't toss much, only watching the movie, more to be precise SQS watching and HC having fun watching SQS. Early next morning when SQS was about to leave and before he reached the door he asked HC to close his eyes, HC felt surprised but complied, waiting, thinking that SQS might want to give him a kiss before leaving, but time passed and the kiss didn't come, yet his hand was taken and there was a click on his wrist. SQS again wished a happy NY that this present was also for him. HC looked at this brand, it was too expensive, but it was several hundred thousand, it's a sum for SQS, so he asked SQS why give him this. SQS reasoned that HC gave him 4 gifts and he returns four (scarf, pendant and 2 chains). But HC argues that he didn't give him watch and this gift is expensive, why buy it? SQS answered that he saw it and thought it'd suit HC so he bought it and asked HC if he liked it.
HC actually fell silent, he knew that SQS didn't get entire remuneration from filming, he had something from writing, but he almost smashed half of his money to buy gifts because he felt it suited him and would look good, HC received many gifts, cheap and expensive, but never one like this, this gift felt heavy and heart-felt. HC looked at SQS with a complex expression. SQS seeing that HC didn't answe inquired if he didn't like it? HC's heart felt like a boiling water, only later he realized that these feelings right now he admitted as being moved, was his feelings of falling in love, because he never loved anyone before he had no idea that at this moment the long-awaited love has quietly come and he fell in love with Shen QingShu. It's just that current HC still doesn't understand. He hugged SQS tightly, but not too tight not to hurt him and said that he liked it very much. He would like anything SQS gave, he thought it was too expensive.


Day #--: SQS and HC still hasn't recognized that they keep acting like a loving couple and not a pair of riders. This part of HC not realizing that it was a moment when the love came aren't my thoughts, but the actual text  So yeah, the love has officially come. 

CHAPTER 23

Right when SQS arrives he sees the tea set of YJY and SQY spreading the tea art. Ater confirming with the front desk that he's SQS they swiped the card for him, but those two shamelessly squeezed after him.
SQS turned around and started dispelling the smell of old green tea - Brother, I will take you home, parents are worried. Same parents who degraded him and froze his card just because SQS blatantly claimed that Shen father is a nouveau riche. But ok. SQY plays this good brother and gets YJY in support that he should go home, he's also advising for his own good. But really where are they and where those two, SQS asked the front desk what they do if someone tresspasses their company and SQY in the end was dragged out by the security after SQS explained that although he's a brother, but SQY is here to pester Mr. Han and they should pay attention to this subject.
The ride the elevator and actually SQS killed me forgetting there's a secong green tea package along, but whatever if SQY is resolved YJY can be too.
The second round starts with small jabs:
SQS: Are you doing something today?
YJY: Came here to see Xiao Cheng, you?
SQS: Of course to see him, if you can why can't I?
YJY: I am his friend, I accompanied him through highschool and college for seven years.
SQS: Oh~ that's an itch for seven years.
YJY again insists that they've known each other for so long, then what SQS should be accounted for.
SQS says that since you're just a friend you won't be able to hold on to the familiarity and become strangers.
YJY: Jealous?
SQS: I'm not a stranger to him, why should I be jealous? (well, yeah, he rides Han Cheng, so~)
YJY: But I was with him for seven years.
SQS There were other people around him for seven years, all classmate friends and college friends (God, SQS's jabs are onpoint).

Anyway they arrive and secretary asks who he was, knwoing it's SQS she's escorted him to HC office. But what HC saw was not only SQS, but YJY who tagged along. Before he could say anything and YJY too, SQS started: I don't like him, see him out.
Cooperating with SQS, HC asks YJY to go out. YJY is shocked asking if he wants to drive him out.
SQS: Didn't you persuade me to go home, now I do the same.
YJY: I did it for your own good. Your brother wants you to go home, your parents are worried about you. Is it wrong to persuade?
SQS: Then I'm also for your own good. Don't your parents worry about you too? I do this for your own good.
YJY: For my good? You obviously don't want me to meet Han Cheng.
SQS: then are you also doing it just for me, I also say that you obviously don't want me to meet Xao Cheng~
YJY was enraged to death by SQS. While HC watched his own secretary giving SQS a thumbs up

One the other hand:
SQS: How was I?
HC: Awesome.
SQS: You work, I'll write my novel and later you invite me to go eat together.
HC: Good.
(No really, they are an old married couple, their fighting ability is top-notch).
YJY instead of going out completely went back, but to Han Yu's office, secretary there knows YJY so she refused him right away with excuse that Mr Han is busy. From Han Yu he only got - Have no time (well, both brothers know what YJY is after). But actually when YJY gets a short message, he thinks that it would have been better if he went after HC back then and they're be together now (I mean, he's so cheap, like you can't get one brother and chase the other, but never confirmed why they treat you like an empty space). So he actually decides to chase HC for real. (I'd like to see him try, with an impenetrable wall like SQS)
HC finished his morning work and SQS was done with writing his little novel, so both went to underground parkinglot deciding on which place to choose to eat, but were stopped by SQY who actually brought Li Hui. Li Hui with all his pomp said to Han Cheng that he's an ex-boyfriend he should know him after all SQS is hardcore in love with him and he confessed that he's SQS's first love. HC was surprised by these words.

Honestly, I can't wait to see what artillery SQS will use, these two are so dead  

63-67 chapter had double character count. And it seems that 65 onwards would be the realization and confession part based on the titles itself. It's also fun reading some comments on the jjwxc site as you'd get a gist of what the chapters were about.

Also I hope that the Shen parent stays that way, I would not want a redemption arc on them.

CHAPTER 45

Get ready for dog food))) And BXG proves again that he's such a good boy.
Su Luo and Sun Xuan although came with bravado but went away gritting their teeth. SQS waited for them to leave and later explained to BXG the whole story of what happened. BXG was surprised that Su Luois such a love brain for Sun Xuan. But also looked at SQS differently, since he got such idea and implemented it and thought he is a serious person. SQS explained that he is always serious, if it wasn't for Su Luo who made him annoyed at her. BXG patted him and said shouldn't he really consider becoming a son-in-law. SQS thought here we go again! But at this time from sidelines a voice sounded - Son-in-law? Both looked at HC and BXG asked who it was. SQS said it was his driver. BXG looked at HC who looked quite familiar.
