I think I remember hearing that somewhere and when I realized the chapter was named "Stairway to Heaven" I lol'd.

It was always like that when somebody lost their powers, even after Fake Karakura arc we were told that 1 year had passed, and basically it is few chapters after.

Like somebody said, he was like in the same condition like Kenpachi. Zaraki actually has the advantage over Byakuya - his bankai is still there.

Imagine if they(0 Squad) want to somewhat force their Zanpakutous to go bankai.

This chapter was just the Zero Squad taking a giant dump on the Gotei 13, but it was fun to read! Lol'd at the bitchslap Hirako received.



Confused about the choice of Renji/Rukia/Byakuya. I love them all but they're basically obsolete. Hope Kubo has a plan. A plan that is not another rescue arc.

Don't want the cliffhanger dude to be Isshin, but knowing my luck (and Kubo's 'chosen one' fetish), it will be someone closely related to Ichigo.

The royal guard is quite funny and some of the current captains have a history with them, surprised that Unohana was once a disciple of that one guy.



Really too bad that the fat woman turned out to be Hikifune but Shutara is hot and like Kurotsuchi a scientist, I like that.

"What you're meant to do now is not healing." It has been noted in the past that Unohana is exceedingly powerful, so I'm excited to see what she can do. It seems as though that mohawk guy is a talented healer, as it has been hinted that he trained Unohana.



Nice chapter. I really like Shutara so far.



P.S. It also seems like Shutara is probably 12th Division Captain due to her conversation with Mayuri. I wonder if she knows Urahara.

So basically what that scientist woman said to Mayuri is that Urahara is still a better scientist than him.
