There's some major tension between Unohana and Kuwabara! XD And I'm really hoping that the person calling from Hueco Mundo is Urahara, but it's most likely the person that freed Ichigo. And that kinda bums me out since I doubt Grimmjow would greet people with an enthusiastic "HELLOOOOOOOOOO!" XD

The guy at the end can't be Urahara. It has to be the person holding the sword to him, and I don't see it being Yoruichi because I doubt she would answer like that. No it has to be either Kurosaki Isshin, Kuukaku Shiba, or Don Kanonji. The last would be a shocker.Actually, from the way he said his infamous Helloooooooo, it's most likely Urahara, unless it's someone who talks the same as him, but that person might be with him and they're both heading to SS or something.

I'm still wondering who's the guy from the first chapter in this arc, maybe it's him, a new character.

I say Isshin is the Soul Kings son and Ichigo's mother is Juha Bach's daughter... also don't you think the rescuer (¨attack Urahara¨) could be Gin, for one the sword looked like his and would be just the person yo scream hello.

pleaseplease! let it be gin! kubo please!

(what do you mean that the sword 'looked ike his"? weve seen only the tip of the blade?)

@ Fai I don't doubt the Unohana stuff, she will definitely kick some ass in the upcoming battles. And yea the 0 Squad seem like righteous arrogant pricks, but I disagree that they couldn't give a damn about the SS. More like they are simply doing their jobs in ensuring the safety of the Soul Palace. It would dishonor, and disrespect the Gotei 13 if the 0 Squad came to the rescue every time a crisis occurred in SS, like they are a bunch of infants who can't even feed themselves without the proper supervision. Honor, respect, and duty are highly regarded qualities in the Japanese culture, and the 0 Squad are not exempt from adhering to those beliefs.

They can't do anything without first obtaining instructions from their boss, the Soul King, and once he/it saw that it was necessary to intervene, they then made their move. The single most important rule in Bleach has been shown to be the absolute protection of the Soul King. So again, they were just doing their extremely crucial job of obeying the will of the SK.

I seriously doubt they have bad intentions planned for Ichigo and Co. or else why would the aforementioned captains not at least make an attempt to stop them from being led to their doom. Obviously some of the older captains have, albeit strained, relationships with members of the 0 Squad. I find it highly unlikely that they would willingly allow Ichigo, and others to be taken away, just to be killed or imprisoned without first putting up a fight.

If they are as evil as you think they are, then why not just swoop in and take who they please, instead of conversing and explaining why They need to heal them instead of Unohana. They are obviously powerful enough to do whatever they want, so it makes no sense for them to show enough respect to take the time to inform the captains as to why they are being taken away, if in the end the 0 Squad are really just evil.

And lastly, I am confused here? I don't understand how some people think it could be Urahara on the other end of the line in Hueco Mundo. A few chapters back, they said that Urahara had reported in to let SS know they were okay, but was unable to speak to anyone directly. This leads me to believe that they are in fact, not in control of the situation in HM. That combined with the panel of the sword pointing at Urahara's throat should mean that it has to be someone else, right? I mean, why would Urahara point a sword at his own throat, and it seems likely to me that the person on the other side talking would be the one who killed Kirge. Is there something I'm missing?

uhhhhhh and of course everything but my post is recovered, fffffff-

Let's make an abridged version then.

So everything I guessed last chapter pretty much was confirmed - The 0 Squad ARE condescending arrogant, selfish pricks who hold no respect for rest of SS and see them as pawns and nothing more.

I really have no doubts that their intentions are nothing good now - the younger captains like Shinji might underestimate them, but the seniors are incredibly tense and wary of their appearance to the point that it looks more like a mexican stand-off between villain and protagonist that is so common in shonen genre and not just some old colleagues meeting.

its also interesting and curious that 0th Squad just happened to chose to take Rukia, Renji and Byakuya - people who have opposed SS for Ichigo and sided with Ichigo the most, with them. Rukia pretty much gave him the start of his powers and connection to SS - she was also the person whom he wanted to save and who was the catalyst of half the important people in SS being torn between opposing the system and obeying the system. Renji was someone who went against SS after he was beat by Ichigo and Byakuya himself went more than once against the rules after Ichigo beat him.

What is EVEN MORE suspicious is that Kenpachi - who was hurt just as bad as byakuya according to last chapter - is not being taken, which pretty much means that 0th Squad's "oh we just wanna heal them"  reasoning is complete bullshit.

Also this pretty much confirms Unohana as a beast in terms of strength, with her job of a healer most likely being a way she wants to atone for the lives she took. chinpira guy pretty much inferred that she is better at taking lives than saving them.

Also if the yakuza-Geisha lady is as old as all of them, could this mean that Mayuri is older than we thought? I mean we know next to nothing about him before Maggot's Nest or why was he there and he is AT LEAST as old as Urahara and, oh right, we know next to nothing about Urahara too.

So much chaos arround them and the ol' guys don't give a shit and have a laught at it. Not to mention they do whatever the hell they want. We get to see the King already? Wow, I expected him to show up way later. And so we get to see "that thing". Maybe it's right after that even that Ichigo decides to not give a shit about them and side with Aizen? wooo I'm waiting for it. I think the crazy person at the end was Urahara though and not the savior of Ichigo.

^This too^

Although him having to team up with Aizen is likely either way now, might we get "Ichigo has to break out of Royal Palace" plot first?

What you're meant to do now is not healing. - So she will be the next captain commander? Like, she's not supposed to be a healing guy right now, so what she can do in exchange? Of course leading soul society.

More like she is better at taking lives than saving them. She does not strike as a leader and she most likely was part of the original Divisions back then, so its not surprising that she would be a bloodthirsty killer, not to mention:

1. The Sword Rebellion anime filler arc had true form of Unohana's sword be akin to a grim-reaper and considering that arc already had foreshadowing to current stuff(Sasakibe's bankai, Kyoraku getting an eyepatch), it would not be surprising for me, since Kubo did make those designs..

2.  Chinpira-guy calls Unohana by her name, Retsu, when saying the phrase about healing - Retsu in japanese language means "violent", so by just emphasizing part of her name he is making a point.

3. Kubo has hyped Unohana A LOT - databooks have her stats make her third strongest character after Yamaji and Aizen(in fact she has MORE physical strength than Yamaji, apparantly) and Kubo went as far as to say that "she is the best swordsman in the entire SS" and that Kenpachi spars kendo with her.

This was one of the better chapters to come out lately. I'm glad to see how well received Zero Squad is, and how likeable they are as characters. Keep it up Kubo!

I didnt know that Kenpachi spars with her. Damn she must be a secret weapon lol. It also seems like that Yakuza guy taught her a lot of things. I wonder if they are blood related or something.

(i read that chapter 3 weeks ago :P)

imo its yoruichi. we havent seen her zanpaktou yet so it would be a kubo-great occasion to occure (since he likes to surprise us)
