I like the idea of Unohana being some sort of ex no bullshit murderer-ish. Excited.

The guy at the end can't be Urahara. It has to be the person holding the sword to him, and I don't see it being Yoruichi because I doubt she would answer like that. No it has to be either Kurosaki Isshin, Kuukaku Shiba, or Don Kanonji. The last would be a shocker.

i already like most of the zero guys better than 3 quarters of the soul society cast.



character interaction between the group was really good and that Shutara girl is creepy, i like best so far.

I think it's probably Isshin. We haven't seen him in a while, he's such a great character and when he goes into badass mode? Incredible. :D

Kubo is generally a fan of 70's-90's rock music, with character names, chapter titles, etc referencing songs.



Hell, even Bleach title is a homage to the debut album of Nirvana



The choice of the "Stairway to Haven" song is also quite interesting, since the song itself is all about one's spiritual journey and balance in the world of moral ambiguity, where no one is as they claim to be. Hell, the start of the song talks about a person who throws around gold and riches in order to appear divine, which is very interesting parallel considering the entrance of Squad Zero

Senshumaru Shutara huh.She seems most interesting from all Zero Squad members IMO + she's a sciencist which adds her more awesomeness.I can see Mayuri is not happy as well lol.

IMO obviously person who spoke at the end was Urahara.He's always like ''HERRO THERE!''.

That guy was faster than Soifon? I swear she's meant to be fastest Shinigami in SS! I find some of the Captain's annoying. The guy Unohana was a disciple too is probably taking the healing away from her so she can get some range on - I see the murderous intent in her eyes!



Yay! We will finally see who that guy is who's holding Urahara (please be Grimmjow, please oh please, oh please)! Could there be a power up for Rukia?

This chapter was worth reading, only because Soi Fong got her ass handed to her. God, I hate that bitch.

I am pretty sure Kubo has purposely demoted Soifon- from an actual character, to the meat thrown to the wolves anytime someone cool needs to make a speech. Almost feel cheated, because I'm probably the one in a million that liked her.



Not a big complaint, though, for the rest of the chapter and this entire arc is amazing. I'm loving the direction in which Bleach is going, I can't wait for next week's chapter, and I'd love to see more of these complex character interactions.
