I think Kubo mentioned Aizen will make an appearance this arc. Remember he hasn't shown his bankai so his appearance is a must.

Agree, especially since Juha said that he's going to meet him. Aizen is a must here.

Aizen made me not care about anything else that happened in this chapter lol.  Just officially bring Aizen and Grimmjow back already.  



Oh yeah, SS looks like it's pretty much doomed now too.  Let's see all hell break loose.

I kinda expect this to happen since the "fake" is too weak to be the last boss, heh I'm gonna miss Yamamoto

I still wonder how kubo plans to touch on all the things he's been foreshadowing up until now. It just seems like there is to much stuff to fit into a single arc w/o rushing through them or dropping them entirely. A lot of it would require breaking away from the current plot and giving a few chapters of flashbacks/explanation. So far we have...



1. The newly mastered bankai's for renji/ and possibly toushiro

2. Mayuri's findings in HM

3. the "importance" of Ichigo's birth

4. what grimmjow has been up to

5. what happened to hiyori at the beginning of the arc

6. Uryuu's importance to the vandereich

7. what is the spirit king exactly

8. and isshin/ryukens' back story. (This intrigues me the most because i read an interview that said Isshin appearance in SS now would reveal something to the characters so kubo is leaving him out of the war.)

9. Juhabach's back story



Some of these things probably tie in together but it still seems like there would need to be a second "turn back the pendulum arc"to do itDon't think there'll be another arc like that, but there have been a lot of smaller flashbacks lately. There should be at least one more flashback for Yamamoto in the next chapter, if he's truly dying...

While i maybe taking this too seriously but it was so typical of Kubo. Captain of soul society proved to be failure again.. A captain who can't control his emotions, using his bankai even if he was completely deceived by enemy and thought there is real juhabach is stupid. Don't underestimate your enemy, someone else can stole it. Well. that was already predicted in previous chapter and it was bound to be stolen BUT one-shot again? I mean why a strong character like yamamoto definitely need his bankai in order to fight. They can use Shikai and Kidos. Didn't Kenpachi defeated three with just shikai. Yamamoto could've done lot better and then it's okay for him to lose. I know he can't defeat enemy boss but at-least put up some fight some fight with real one. So all hype of his power ended up like this, unless Kubo proved me wrong and he stand up in next chapter. Let's see how Aizen will come back. It's time for Ichigo to get some action and i wonder when we will see Urahara and result of that cliffhanger.

just as expected Yamamoto will lose T_T and darn i wonder where is Aizen now that he is release from his cage

Glad to see Aizen was mentioned since we know he'll have something to do with this. The OHKO was a little blah but I guess it's better off not revealing anything else the boss can do before he fights Ichigo.



Is it confirmed that Kubo said Grimmjow would make an appearance or am I just getting my hopes up for nothing?
