Yo, everyone, Akev here✋.Giving myself a 5-star review because the site allows it👍😉.So, this was the first book that I wrote in English, I think language gets better over time but I can't promise there won't be similar cringy dialogue you see in the first chapter, regardless, I think it's an interesting read, and that you should try giving it a shot🤗.I am posting this at the same time as I am writing Everlasting War: The Heir of Darkness which I do think will turn out as a considerably better book but this one has its charms.What is this book about? It is the story of Nero, a guy devoid of emotions. He is a monster hunter with a mysterious boss who talks to him through magical marbles. I have to say it was incredibly hard to make him interesting in any way without breaking the "no emotion" thing the way the writers usually do with such characters😂, but I think I succeeded. The problem is that rather than being a person born in such a way or being a typical sociopath he has his emotions taken from him so he literally can't feel them, it's not just the lack of empathy you would usually see or use to explain why the initial statement is still true. What you can expect from him is to have a whole lot of disguises and acts, and, of course, to be completely ruthless as he completes one job after the other while slowly working towards his overarching goal.If you like horror or dark fantasy, I think you will enjoy his story.Buay👋

Author, you ended my Webnovel drought. I was reading only translations but when I found this, I knew I'd be losing out on a gem if I didn't read it. ( In Rhysand's words )Maril is an amazing fl character, free spirit but matured too. Might appear contrasting but that's her beauty. Up to now I kept laughing in every chapter, her inner monologues are my favourite.I could say Rhysand is going fast but then I realised, he is not. I like slow burn but if Rhysand didn't do what he did, I know he won't meet her anytime soon. Rhysand also is being shown as a puppy but I'm excited to see his dark side. I hope this book becomes more and more famous as it deserves. The writing is easy to understand and does not use much difficult vocabulary. However, it is still different from other books. To see the uniqueness one must read and this is a must read book!!!!!!!!!

The book is phenomenal so far; be it mystery, thrill and the tormenting romance ,one will be able to see themselves in the character of Layla 🤩. I'm really excited for it . Let's see how this unfolds.

Solid story. Solid characters...after a while. I did not initially like the MC, but he starts to became proactive later and his potential also gets so much better.
