wonder why aizen refused to join with Juha? But why would anyone even want aizen anymore, he's lost his zanpaktou and the hongyoku has rejected him.

as we know the true zanpakuto resides in its user's soul so unless Aizen's magic pebble shattered his soul which it didn't, he should be able to re-summon his zan.

Oh hell no. Somehow I can see it coming( I honestly think toshiro is Kubo's favorite captain) but HELL NO.his bankai could be stolen so he's no war potential...and I think his fav might be Aizen.

He just uses hitsugaya to get the fangirls wet since every ch where he or rukia make an appearance sells better than the others.

But I guess all our theories about the blondie being the true Bach were put to rest by Kubo now....looks like the real deal could of killed Yamamoto anytime he wanted but Kubo didn't want that until he showed us his bankai.

I always wondered why he didn't use that reishi manipulation technique he used when he summoned and deconstructed that throne back in HM in his fight with Yama...guess we finally know why.

> Yamamoto defeated by a summoned sword

> not even a real zanpakuto

Ichigo's zan prob can't be stolen cause it mutated from a regular zan spirit to a hollow/zan/fullbring hybrid

Guess what we've all be saying will be realized, Ichigo really will arrive only to see the aftermath.

I'd really hate if Ichigo only arrives to find out that half of SS is probably dead!

I had a different sort of idea. Because Ichigo's reiatsu is made up of all of the reiatsu of SS's top Shinigami's that's probably why no one can "steal" his bankai...could be wrong.

I have no idea where this arc is going, its not even the slightest bit predictable. Frankly, its starting to piss me off, too many deaths of Shinigami's.

Mangastream's version is out, it looks like both Loyd and Royd can copy the appearance of the enemy, but one can copy the abilities & power and the other can copy the memories & spirit, here's the page:

@Puty: Yes. I missed that one. Vizards have lots of potential and putting up a mask and fight more aggressively make things even more interesting but i doubt they will get much action.

@Kanic: Well. Isn't action manga supposed to have chapters with good fights. As long as there meaningful action like Byakuya is trying his best and injured stern ritter a bit and then lost. I don't think anyone should complain. We're talking about a popular and strong captain who defeated espada like a joke and i already said about captain commander. Oh. well since manga have so much time left then i hope we will see some good action and not only for Ichigo but other characters as well.

p.s: even though normally i don't care but it's a girl not guy.

Well, I'm sorry milady(?)

I got 3 things to say:

1)My previous post still stands as my response to what you say.

2)The war has been on for precisely 20 chapters. Don't you think that if Kubo were to comply to what you say that the war would last at least 2-3 times more to what intended? Whether you agree to my calculations or not consider the 20-chapters in your calculations. So far we saw many stuff and high-paced story-telling (your previous post actually confirms this) and we can't have everything with 17-pages per week.

3)Some stuff that you said also validate what I say. You said that you would want the rest of the fights to be like Byakuya's, but at the same time you call Byakuya one of the most popular captains(in other words the one with the most attention). Why should the other captains who are less interesting recieve the same treatment? That would be a negative for the fast-pace as interest for their fights wouldn't be particularly high. I mean would you actually give a damn about anyone besides Shinji/Shunsui/Ukitake? And besides the number of captains that have fallen is relatively low.ALSO, don't forget the medalion. What point is there seeing captains use abilities we have already seen and not their Bankais?

I think that since Yamamoto will most likely die, Kubo did well in giving the most attention to him and not the rest. Besides right now, I at least wanna learn more about the vanderreich and see the plot unravel rather than just fights. They will come in due time, and it's best to not know ALL of the enemies' abilities right away(what interest would be there in the future fights?)

----------------------------------------

As expected a one-shot victory (at least seems like that for now). And (also as expected) it was a fake who took his appearence.

But at least Aizen was mentioned. Hope we see him again soon.

wait, did Aizen did all of that using just his shikai?

so it is inevitable for him to return after all...

Hmm, someone remind me, wasn't it Yamamoto who knew where the existing Ouken was? Unless Zero Squad decides to show up on their own, I assume Bach's going to want/need that.

or maybe there's some third way we don't know about, who knows

As expected it wasn't the real Bach...so Aizen refused....but that's not really a surprise...after the speculation he's gonna team up with Ichi later on or so it's said. Though I would like to know if he was freed or not by Bach. Kubo did mention showing him in restraints stil...guess we'll see.

Well Capt Commander is a goner then. Wonder when Squad Zero will intervene exactly...too soon right now I guess may be?

Still loved the chapter even if it did feel short...can't wait till the next~

@Candor, but we probably won't see explanation about this fight because that's Kubo style.

For example - Kensei vs WonderWeiss - for Kubo that fight never happened, Kubo didn't even bother to show defeated Kensei(like in the very current case with Rose). And when we're at it - we were shown Kensei's bankai - but aside from its uninspired look we don't know anything about it(how it works and why it was so useless against WonderWeiss).

Or more important stuff - we only see the beginnings of Ichigo's training and then the results. Or how about this big ass-pulled hollowfication in the Ichi vs Ulquiorra fight.Kenpachi vs FBach is a big plot-hole, how did Kenpachi defeat his brother who's supposed to be stronger than FBach and FBach one-shotted Kenpachi? I'm personally waiting for an explanation for this part.

About the trainings, I don't think you'd like more training do you? About Ichigo's hollow, even if it was an ass-pull, I think everyone enjoyed it, whether in the anime or in the manga, even the guy you're following.

And to discuss your points:

Byakuya - he was defeated with something reasonable, fear from losing Rukia and he was hit 3 times with his Bankai, I see no reason for not remembering that part, we still don't know if he's dead or not.

Byakuya was defeated by some random dude(no backstory, nothing) who then got killed by Yama. So i guess epic re-match is no longer possible.

As for the "dead" part on Byakuya's side - come on, this is Bleach* ;].The fight was still good imo (it's amusing seeing Byakuya getting his ass kicked lol) . Kubo was showing the power of the Quincy by defeating strong characters, though I wonder how he'll handle Byakuya and Kenpachi after things calm down a bit.

Yamamoto - That's where I said you're rushing things here, he was trying to end the battle quickly and he raged over Yojiro's death and was underestimating the enemy and he was outsmarted by Bach, but we know no further info, wait until things get explained fully.

But it isn't usual Kubo's "ambiguous" ending in which he really sucks(for ex. Aizen and his countless "deaths" at the ends of the chapters in fk). It really looks like the end of the fight. Granted, its only my(and apparently Hanyuu's too) impression, but I think we are not the only ones who see it that way, and for valid reasons.

We talked about these chapters, I thought that this is only the beginning of their clash, you also hoped that Yama"'ll put a good fight".I guess the next chapters will tell us if the fight has ended or not.

Kenpachi - We still don't know what happened and who defeated Kenpachi, is it FBach? is it the blondie and FBach did the finishing blow? Again you're rushing things.

And we probably(but in this case there is a chance for us to be given explanation since Kenpachi isn't the one to accept his defeat without some words, so we might get some insight of this battle later - but that would mean some character developement, not the strong side of this series) won't know which is even more depressing x/.As I said above, it's a plot-hole if he didn't explain it. Kenpachi apparently has an important role in this arc as a war potential, and Kubo said he'll explain something about him, so I doubt it's the end of him and we'll probably get some explanations.

Oh, I remember the exact same situation like Bach vs. Ken = Ichi vs. Ulq - when Orihime got to the upper level, Ulq strangled already defeated Ichigo with his tail and held him in the air.

Like Kenpachi & Byakuya vs. Yammi, the strongest Espada(my ass) why bother to show it, right, Kubo? That's different. It's not like we didn't see them fight did we? We saw normal Ichigo vs 1st & 2nd form Ulquiorra and we saw Byakuya & Kenpachi vs Yammi, it's just the conclusion was not fully shown, it's a one-sided battle after-all adding any more to it and it's dragging (= more complaints).

*Though I would really like to be proven wrong in this case. I don't have anything against Byakuya, but his death would have some major impact. For now we're left with the death of the character who was a joke for the entire series(Sasakibe) and couple of no-names.Sakakibe's death was just to show how strong the Quincy are and to make Yamamoto rage, lose his calm and massacre the Quincy to end the battle with everything he had, apparently he was struck with how stupid he was while underestimating Bach, and that was/will be the end of him.

Now about Byakuya, I'm pretty sure if Byakuya died we'll hear more "Byakuya was killed by a random guy", which makes think you're contradicting yourself here (though I'd like to see him dead too). I doubt he's dead, as you saw the Quincy can't summon Bankai with its full potential.
