OMG, this translation is horrible, I don't understand a damn thing about the power of the Yourself brothers, The translation says that neither of them could replicate people's appearance, yet both did.

Hmm, someone remind me, wasn't it Yamamoto who knew where the existing Ouken was? Unless Zero Squad decides to show up on their own, I assume Bach's going to want/need that.

or maybe there's some third way we don't know about, who knows

No only Yama know's the location of the key. Therefore the only other known way to get it is way Aizen was going to. If there's a separate way...who knows...Yama knows the Ouken's location? Totally forgot that. This makes sense now if Bach took the key and opened the entrance to the spirit realm, because if he asked Aizen to join him then they probably have a similar goal, and that key could be either inside Yama (remember Rukia in SS arc) or his Bankai like Zogundar said. Speaking of the Royal Guard, if they're protecting the Spirit King then they're in the spirit realm, which means they're on the defensive, they won't go to SS but stay in the spirit realm until someone attacks them.

I just wish the captains werent so damn useless, as I find them far more interesting than ichigo.

@Han-yuu

I guess you're not getting my point either, maybe you should read my post again, though I think Kanic explained it more clearly. The arc is still in its beginning and the plot is still being unfolded, but in a different way from Kubo's other arcs. You want action? You'll get a lot of action in the 2nd half of the arc, for now we need to know the plot and we need to get to the real battleground, after we'll start getting more and better action. Kubo is showing us the Quincy's powers atm, so a plot and Quincy introduction arc, that's what's going on right now. I'm repeating myself here and this is going nowhere. Blindly loving and not distinguishing between troll posts and reasonable posts, who knows, pointless argument there so I'll skip that part, not that I have anything to say anyway.

And for the second time, Yamamoto got trolled up.

Having lost his arm his arm against Aizen didn't teach him any lesson. I guess being an old fart full of himself doesn't serve his cause, he is just so strong that he can't even imagine one can come up with a good strategy to beat his face up.

I found Aizen's strategy of catalysing Yamamoto's fire to burst it in his face more subtle but Juha Back was able to beat him up at least with his.

I agree. No matter how badass Yamamoto is in terms of power he is too damn concieted. I guess that's what happens when you are in command for a millenia. Suits him just fine. Juha ftw.

I just read something interesting in that page, "The Arrancar will return in a group", so my guess would be that Grimmjow will bring some Arrancar with him, Vasto Lorde probably.

Technically, a group of Arrancar have already appeared.  Loly, Menoly and Haribel's Fraccion.  Haribel's being held hostage and Nel is with Ichigo's group.  I think Grimmjow won't be bringing any VL with him, nor any underlings, I want to believe he was training in solitude like Vegeta.  Once again, Hueco Mundo needs a King, Barragan is gone, Aizen is gone (kind of), It's Grimmjow's time.  The fact that only female Arrancar appeared so far is the greatest "here is your harem, now just make a grand entrance yourself" lol.I forgot about those that harem. There are some theories saying he turned into a Vasto Lord so yea he would come alone. There's a potential of Vasto Lorde appearing so let's hope Kubo has something like that in mind.

I really hope so, if he's not at least 10x stronger than before, there's no point.  I know power-scaling in Bleach is hopeless but I think Ulquiorra was stronger than the old Kenpachi and Byakuya but weaker than Shunsui.  I think if Grimmjow returns he needs to be above "that" Ulquiorra's level, which would definitely require him being a VL, or at least as powerful as the top ones.

Nnoitra is a good example of this, Nel was clearly ranked above him before but he said "don't think the power levels of Espada are the same as back then", which hints that they can still grow, perhaps even drastically.Add to that that Grimmjow has been struggling to become a Vasto Lorde before turning into an Arrancar, but the question is, can an Arrancar evolve from a level to another? I guess we should wait for an answer about that if Grimmjow got some kind of a power-up. Oh yeah, I forgot he was pretty much being portrayed as a borderline Adjuchas nearing VL but being unable to take the final step by that flashback.  Also yeah, the fact whether an Arrancar can still function like a Hollow evolution-wise needs to be answered still, though I think it was mentioned that they can't "downgrade" any more already.  I have a feeling/hope that Kubo might switch back to Hueco Mundo next chapter or at least the one after it.  Hopefully some questions will be answered, especially that cliff-hanger.  After witnessing the last chapter, I wouldn't be surprised if Aizen is the one pointing his sword at Urahara.  But let's just wait and see.

Well actually I do. And not only me. I remember(I was the admin of the Bleach forum once) that not only me, but there was a whole lot of people who asked if they missed something, because they haven't seen how Ichigo finally acquired Bankai. I bet that everyone would love to see how he reached conclusion with his fight for the rights of wielding Zangetsu(actual bankai didn't have to be shown at that moment if Kubo wanted to keep it secret, but i t could still be pulled off nicely).

Kubo tried to do something like that in the Vaizard training but then we got rather confusing explanation that he fights not because he wants to protect his loved ones but for the sheer fighting(Zaraki image in his head said something like that).

By the time FGT training was coming, I knew that we won't see anything. Too bad because the young Zangetsu looked fascinating and again - the most interesting stuff to me was HOW they reached the partnership especially since the "new" Zangetsu wasn't willing to cooperate.

Yes, I enjoyed that asspulled power up, but I mentioned it as the example of unexplained stuff which was quite major.

Btw. You mean ROT? I'd only discovered him since someone posted his vids about Bleach. Now I listen to his weekly manga recap, which he posts about mondays I guess. One can achieve Bankai when one is able to materialize it and subjugate it, Zangetsu was already materialized by Yoruichi but Ichigo had to make him submit to him and he was able to. From what I remember Zangetsu was asking Ichigo for his reason for saving Rukia, and after he saw his noble intentions he submitted to him, too shonen-like, could've done better I agree.

The hollow training was about instincts, and Ichigo's hollow's instinct is about fighting, as shown later, to protect Ichigo.

I'm not sure about the manga but I heard the fight with Tensa was extended in the anime, but the part in the fight against Aizen where Tensa said he was fighting Ichigo because he wanted Ichigo to accept Tensa and his feelings was in the manga.

All the power-ups are typical shonen-like, Bleach was since its beginning this way, complaining about all these stuff after all this time is kinda weird.

That guy with glasses (his blog's name), that's him.

still stands - there was nothing from it in the manga, only Ken gave Yammi a slash and argued with Byakuya that he's in his way as ichigo was leaving. Noting was shown from their actual fight. It was a totally one-sided battle. Kubo hyped Yami too much for the zero espada, but he was just big in size, I don't think Kubo cared about him anyway, he ass-pulled that zero thing but he wasn't really as strong as the number showed. I would've also liked more screen-time for that battle btw. That's one of the wrong things Kubo did in that arc.

In a way it could seem that I'm contradicting myself but I'm not. You see, it's just the fact that Kubo can't change AsNodt(or whatever his name was) randomness anymore since he decided to kill him off with the power of Yama. He could still develop into some major villain and be the source of the Renji or Rukia's developement had Byakuya truly died, but nope.

I guess we'll hear complaints either way then.. Either way let's see what Kubo is planning to do about that part.

You said that you would want the rest of the fights to be like Byakuya's

Where i said that? Byakuya got one chapter, 2 hits and down. Well. It seems like my posts are difficult to understand. I would also like to put a full stop here in this discussion. We will see how much good action Byakuya, Kenpachi and Captain Commander will get in the second half.
