Bleach Chapter 460 Discussion

Good chapter. But I will be really happy when some explaining of Ichigo's new Shinigami powers starts happening.

He's not, in fact he's probably a bit weaker now.

Remember how he was destroying mountain with his reiatsu in single slash when he was fighting against Aizen?

Ichigo at that point was at least at captain commander level, we haven't seen what a getsuga tensho can do in this mode but you can assume that when he was fighting Aizen it would have been much stronger.







Yes ofc thats true but think about this when he fought aizen he did 200 years worth of training in 20 min i think it was? if im not wrong.. and that was also becuse he was gonna use the final getsuga tensho.. but yaa maybe he´s weaker maybe he´s stronger i dont know, but i think and hope he is stronger then when he lost to ichimaru and aizen when they fighted in the fake karakura town.



anyway we will know in the next chapter i hope :)

As for the chapter:

It was pretty good overall tho I felt like the colour pages weren't exploited well enough but no biggie.



Oh and you gotta admit that the way Ichigo explained to Ginjou that he didn't use Getsuga Tenshou was pretty cool.

WAIT WAIT WAIT WAIT.... is ikkaku a lieutenant? does that mean yachiru's a cap...  never mind...

EDIT: never mind, his badge doesn't look like the 11th squad's...

the battle will change and this is fucking great

Mind you, everyone else has become stronger, that much is apparent. It's not to farfetched to assume that Ichigo has too. I don't know what you've been reading, but nearly all the times that Ichigo has been at odds with a captain, he was in Bankai. The only time he truly surpassed Captain Yamamoto was when he improved his bankai and used FGT.

Remember how the shape of the zanpakto reflects the soul? The previous Zangetsu was blunt, and somewhat dull looking, whilst the current version looks sharp, polished, and edgy. It's a metaphor for improvement and change. When he was fighting Aizen and destroying mountains, he was in his improved Bankai. Right now, he's in his Shikai. Do you see the parallels there?





Yaa thats completley true... i just hope he is stronger then before :) orelse it would be pretty boring, becuse i beat the captains and vice captains have becomse alot stronger sence we last saw them.. i mean rukia moved up to vice captain.. but though we knew already before that she had the power to be a vice captain

Okay Fai, I really don't get why you can't agree that the point of this arc was Ichigo getting his power back ... I think it's quite plain, actually: If the last arc finished with the main chara losing his power, the next one will lead to, or move through, or at least involve the main chara taking it back, one way or another.

I never ever talked about portrayals or any such complicated thing: in one arc the main chara loses his power, the next one(s) will be the arc(s) which he will get some power back. There's almost even no need of reading that(those) arc(s) to be sure about it ...

That is, put briefly, an "arc whose point is the main chara getting his power back" ...

I really don't understand why you have to disagree about that .... =(

I think that's a big if, the one I ponted out in those two posts of mine ... If you have reasons to think that Ichigo will be able to pull it off again, please tell me why! ^^



Regarding your theory about SS being against Ichigo and Gotei 13 being split between those supporting him and those supporting SS's condamn: wow, those that Rukia's heard saying back then are very few words on which you are building your theory... I mean, I've never had any reason to think that SS was the bad guys: Aizen was quite a badass foe, with wrong principles, whereas SS represented order, even though in a rather strict way ... What reason do you have to think it's the other way around? O___O

If you were right, that would be a very fascinating theory!

But I really don't see your reasons, so to me those words by Rukia don't make any confirmation of your theory, so far...

( also, why should the soul king "aka the thing that is connected to the entire universe" be the bad guy? .-. )

About Ginjou being that hybrid he himself said Tsuki had killed back who knows when ... nicely thought! I didn't see it, but it makes perfectly sense!



A last question: which arc was kurakara's? Gotei 13 vs Aizen and his espadas?
