Claymore Chapter 110 Discussion

Hrm Anastasia is possibly the only Claymore from the new gen that I find interesting since we have never seen this floating style before...hopefully she wont be shoved aside and killed the first chance they get. -.-

The Org/Rubel used Teresa's head which Clare carried with her and held up to Rubel, saying ~"Give me! Put inside my body! Teresa's flesh and blood!" Clare got her wish to be with "Teresa forever", lol.*

[...]

Now, they didn't put Teresa's entire head into Clare, and there's no Teresa's face on Clare's stomach or chest. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they had implanted Teresa's brain into Clare. We do know that some part of flesh from Teresa's head was implanted into Clare turning her into an unique Claymore, being only 1/4 Yoma and 3/4 Human, instead of 2/4 Yoma and 2/4 Human like all other Claymores who are implanted with NY "flesh and blood".

I also doubt now that Theresas head was used, it was in fact never really stated (just "flesh and bones", and who in the organisation cares about silly little Clares wishes?). It's not like Rubel took the head and pushed it into Clare. After the battle with Priscilla the organisation did most likely the most logical thing and comfirmed the death of the Claymores and took the bodies, so there is the possibility of using Theresas, lets say, liver(?)  to make Clare a Claymore.

If I was Mr. Keep my dead Clayores in my office, I would not sacrifice the head (and brain for that matter) of the number one warrior of all time for an experiment with high failure-rate if I don't have to (and I don't).

Regeneration requires precise memory of the missing body part, in order to Regenerate back their CLAYMORE body part. Such a precise memory quickly fades, so they have a short time period (at most they have "Dauf's length of time needed to Regenerate") to Regenerate back their CLAYMORE body part.

Most likely exaggerated or untrue. I doub't that Duff (or any Claymore) remembers (or even knows) where which artery or nerve was, or where this msucle is connected to that bone. But eyes.. sure, you can remember HAVING them, but what they look like under your skull..? Rebuilding such an complext organ from "memory" is just silly. And Galatea most likely could remake hers, but it would make her yoma-sensing less efficient, so she chose not to. It's not like she needs them.

"Remembering" is most likely just remeber having them, like being able to remember the rain on your skin or remember seeing.

I have to respectfully disagree.

I feel, in my understanding/interpretation, that:

both of those opinions of yours, fails to match up with the manga content.

The Org never knew about Priscilla (only Rubel did), as they were shocked at how powerful this arm inside of Raki's back was and were wondering who/what in the world it could belong to. Though Dae did collect Teresa's dead body for his own experiments soon to be seen in the coming chapters...

Also, Clare herself, is abstractly talked about by the Org to Rubel, ~"If I remember correctly wasn't Clare the weakling who had only 1/4 Yoma in her, despite being implanted with Yoma flesh", which to me suggests that Rubel himself might have very well implanted "flesh and blood" (probably the brain) from Teresa's head into Clare. Rubel also tried to lie about Clare's success and high power level to the Org (and got caught). Obviously, Clare was Rubel's personal experiment...

....just like the secret Priscilla was as well, and then there's Rafaela too who Rubel blackmailed into being his "right hand man" through some kind of information about or pertaining to Luciela, and then he also helped out Miria and Galatea too, and then there's Ophelia who told him and only him about Miria's Partial Awakening, and not even her own BC, Ermita.

----------------------------------------------------

the manga explicityly says that Regeneration requires precise memory and this is why Galatea, Irene, Clare, and Rafaela can no longer Regenerate their missing body parts, regardless of the details to figure out, like how Dauf is able to remember his body parts for however long it takes him to Regenerate himself.

So that weird guy is keeping the corpses of the number ones? I have a bad feeling about this...let's just HOPE Yagi won't bring back Theresa that way. That would ruin quite a bit of this manga.

It's interesting that Priscilla saved Raki, but I wonder what the organization are going to do with him? Anastasia looks like an awesome new character though ;)

1. Did Priscilla give her left arm to Raki for it to suppress/nullify the Destroyer's rods' Infection ability?

Or, was Priscilla trying to kill Raki, and he amazingly-somehow sliced off her attacking left arm and survived her trying to kill him.

If Priscilla wants someone dead then that persdon IS dead. Raki isn't tough enough to survive an anti-abyssal level attack ;P

In other words - she did that to save him.

HegemonKhan said:
2. it's confirmed again that Priscilla was merely using Raki to lead her to Clare+Teresa. This thus heavily implies that "innocent child-regressed" Priscilla wasn't so "innocent", thus tricking both Raki and Isley...

Raki maybe (though in the end she saved him), Isley - not so much. Remember that when she started to cry in front of Isley she didn't met Raki yet and had no reason for any act (she could kill Isley on the spot if she wanted to so there was no point in decieving him).

HegemonKhan said:
3. it seems that the Destroyer's rods picked up the odor/scent of Clare+Teresa 's yoki as they flew past, just as Raki had picked up the odor/scent of Clare+Teresa 's yoki on him.

The scent was most likely imprinted when Clare was absorbed into the Destroyer mass just before it awakened (when she encountered Rafaela consiousness), not when the projectiles flew past Clare.

HegemonKhan said:
5. The Organization has no idea who Priscilla is! WOW!

So, does this suggest that the entire Priscilla vs Teresa, Teresa's death and Priscilla's Awakening, the execution squad (Irene, Priscilla, Sophia, and Noel) and their orders for Teresa's head, Clare, Orsay, Ermita, and Claymore Priscilla, was kept from the Organization's knowledge...

Did Rubel cause all of this to occur, and keep it secret from the Organization? Are Orsay and Ermita then working with Rubel?, as they must of kept it secret as well as they knew of some of it.

I doubt that, they probably assumed that Priscilla during her awakening got lucky and killed Teresa (which is actualy true) and after that slaughtered rest of her own squad. Nobody knew that in the past Teresa killed Abyssal One so they didn't understand the true significance of this event.

Later Rubel most likely did get involved in hiding Priscilla existence but from the begining she was enigmatic and hard to read (Isley make the misjudgment about her power twice during encounter in the north, if he couldn't properly read the power of something that was right in front of him then organization had no way of doing it either).

HegemonKhan said:
Did the Organization never knew that they had a young, new, and powerful  Claymore called Priscilla? Was Priscilla Rubel's "secret pet warrior", before he moved onto Clare as his new "secret pet warrior" ?

Certainly not - Priscilla was promoted to be a new no. 2 so the organization was aware of her enormous potential,

HegemonKhan said:
8. Dae is on to the "spy" Rubel, saying that they have a "mole" among them whom is keeping information secret from them...

he also says that, "rooting out the mole", is not his job... so... who's job then is it?

Rimuto most likely, fry face seems to be involved (and interested) mostly in research, this entire guessing game seemed to be fun for him as a intellectual chalenge rather than something that he needs to be involved with.

HegemonKhan said:
9. wow. ch 110 confirms that Abyssal Ones are indeed MERELY Awakened rank 1's, so there's nothing special about Isley, Riful, and Luciela, that makes them Abyssal Ones and not any of the other Awakened rank 1's. ALL Awakened rank 1's are Abyssal Ones!

Rather it officialy confirmed something that was obvious for a long time already - that Abyssal One is not a very accurate term since any warrior with high enough potential can become one (or more powerful than one) even without being a no.1 of her generation (though in most cases warrior with such power would inevitably become number 1, it was just a twist of fate that Priscilla joined the ranks during Teresa times).

HegemonKhan said:
11. wait... is this a typo? is Dae saying that Riful's older sister is Luciela (which would make Rafaela as the middle aged sister. Riful+Luciela+Rafaela are all sisters?), or instead of "her", it should have been Rafaela's?

Its an error in translation. Riful was from completely dffrent generation than Luciela and Rafaela (a age difference of several centuries at least, more likely something like a millenium).

HegemonKhan said:
13. it seems that there's even more rank 1's too, but the Org doesn't want to list them all to us, lol. Or, is the Black Coat just saying that there's tons of Claymores whom have died?

Teresa was 77th generation so most likely there was around 76 no. 1 before her.

HegemonKhan said:
15. black card and purge incidents. it's confirmed again that the Organization intentionally "purges" their no longer "wanted" Claymores.

Why do you need confirmation of that? It was obvious for a long time and even normal Claymores were able to figure that out if they lived long enough.

HegemonKhan said:
18. the Organization can't get it straight whether their Claymores were purged or Awakened, LOLOLOLOL

For most part they didn't care about that, until Isley launched his offensive AB were considered something useful rather than problematic (more chances to extort cash from normal people + chance to arrange unfortunate accidents for problematic Claymores).

HegemonKhan said:
20. wait... if they took the left arm out of Raki, what's going to or is happening to him now?

Either the projectile already died from being exposed to Priscilla power or Raki is really, really screwed.

HegemonKhan said:
23. what is this plan of Dae's? And why was it officially denied?

Judging by his appearance he likes to dabble with dangerous stuff far too much. Most likely the rest of the org don't want him to create something that is not only powerfull but also beyond any control.

HegemonKhan said:
29. oh (CENSORED)! Dae has been keeping all the corpses of the previous rank 1's in his room! that is NOT good!

Were you just writing random thoughts while reading new chapter?

HegemonKhan said:
46. I'm almost wondering...

are there TWO (rivalling/competing) "Organizations", and when we've been thinking we've always been looking at the same Organization and it's HQs with its members, as being the same single one, when it might in fact have been TWO Organizations, TWO HQs each with their own members?

Your theories are running a little to wild...
