Even if it was a sudden attack she did kill Teresa while she had 10% of her Yoki released so Rubel must have realized that she's at least not weaker than an abyssal.

At that time she let her guard down and didn't use any of her yoki because she was to soft :P.

Teresa shouldn't have waited and go all chitchat with Priscilla and just cut her head off right away.

And for sure Teresa can beat Priscilla.

I liked that the chapter felt longer. :)

Anastasia is AWESOME, and so pretty! I really like her hair! XD I hope she gets added as a member, or at least is a non-dying character.

Didn't Clare become a Claymore using her HEAD? I don't think Yagi considers "Headless Teresa" a decent enemy.

I doubt that any number one died of old age so probably all of the corpses that fry-face has in his room are incomplete at best. I wonder is he's trying to pull something like impaling those bodies with Raciela projectiles and then using bits of Priscilla hand to somehow control the process - in such case the head isn't really important, the potential locked within the body id enough (however I agree that it would be poor taste to bring back Teresa in such a way)...

That seems like a viable plan, they shouldn't have trouble making it happen either.  At the very least it seems he has 3 tries to get it right.  I too have no desire to see Teresa come back, but that doesn't seem to be the trend right now when it comes to shounen manga.

I almost dare say Anastasia is hot, but I know better to think a Claymore sexy.  She looks to be an interesting character though.  Another excellent chapter, another crappy month long wait.

I think if they bring back Teresa, Priscilla is probably dead =/ But the thing is that Teresas flesh is partly in Clare, and i dont see how she can function without a head xD

Like the new number 7, she is very pretty, and reminded me of Teresa, but i have a slight feeling she is not a good girl xD

The Org/Rubel used Teresa's head which Clare carried with her and held up to Rubel, saying ~"Give me! Put inside my body! Teresa's flesh and blood!" Clare got her wish to be with "Teresa forever", lol.*

*Back before Teresa killed the bandits in that town, Teresa had left Clare in that town, thinking that a "human's life" was better for Clare. However, Clare disagreed, stripping naked in front of the townsfolk, and said this to Teresa: ~"I don't want nice clothes. I don't want nice shoes. I want to be with Teresa forever!". As I said, Clare got her wish, hehe.

Now, they didn't put Teresa's entire head into Clare, and there's no Teresa's face on Clare's stomach or chest. But, I wouldn't be surprised if they had implanted Teresa's brain into Clare. We do know that some part of flesh from Teresa's head was implanted into Clare turning her into an unique Claymore, being only 1/4 Yoma and 3/4 Human, instead of 2/4 Yoma and 2/4 Human like all other Claymores who are implanted with NY "flesh and blood".

Until the recent ch 110, all we knew was that "flesh and blood" was used for the implantation surgery.

However, the recent ch 110, suggests that indeed the brain is not needed for the implantation surgery and that any body part can be used, as Dae plans to use Priscilla's arm to make 3 uber AFs (NOT revived "Hokage Corpses" like in Naruto), and then the dead bodies of previous rank 1's, who hadn't Awakened, to make possible "Clare Clones", including Teresa's headless body itself, which also suggests that the brain isn't needed, but that any part of the body can be used.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

yes, the trainees with Clare were jealous of Clare having Teresa's flesh, and one of them thus challenged Clare to a sparring match. Where we see "Badass" Trainee Claymore Clare, and then again in her final test/trial, where she saves that same Trainee Claymore who had challenged her to that sparring match, as well as being successful, killing the NY, and becoming a ranked (official-active) Claymore.

Elena would become a ranked Claymore some time AFTER Clare. Both were extremely weak as Claymores and had to use a lot of yoki release to survive. However, Elena being a normal Claymore at 2/4 Human and 2/4 Yoma, couldn't resist the Awakening as she hit the 80% yoki release limit, as she needed to, in order to survive and kill NYs in her missions. Whereas, Clare being only 1/4 Yoma helped her to be able to resist Awakening better then Elena, and so it was Elena who had reached Awakening first. Clare would finally get pushed into Awakening, by Rubel sending her on a mission against a SNY, and also having poor Clare be on the pills as well... thankfully Raki was able to help motivate Clare into reducing her yoki release, and prevent her from Awakening. This also changed Clare into the prized Half Awaken, and this greatly enhanced Clare's Power level, as can be seen afterwards.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Regeneration requires precise memory of the missing body part, in order to Regenerate back their CLAYMORE body part. Such a precise memory quickly fades, so they have a short time period (at most they have "Dauf's length of time needed to Regenerate") to Regenerate back their CLAYMORE body part.

Irene mentions that Claymores who can Regenerate, can Regenerate back HUMAN body parts as well, obviously being weaker than their CLAYMORE body parts.

However, we've never seen this, and it's possible that only Irene can actually do this, and not any Claymore who can Regenerate.

Rafaela CAN Regenerate, but it's been so long, she no longer has the precise memory of her eye, so it's forever lost. The reason Rafaela didn't Regenerate her eye when she still could have, is because she CHOSE NOT TO DO SO, as it was a reminder of her failure to save her sister and of her duty obligation to find a way to save her sister. The same is true of Clare's right arm, and Irene's left arm, while she was still alive of course. Also, the same is true with Galatea, as she too said that she can no longer Regenerate her eyes due to her not having the precise memory of them anymore.

Hrm Anastasia is possibly the only Claymore from the new gen that I find interesting since we have never seen this floating style before...hopefully she wont be shoved aside and killed the first chance they get. -.-

I also doubt now that Theresas head was used, it was in fact never really stated (just "flesh and bones", and who in the organisation cares about silly little Clares wishes?). It's not like Rubel took the head and pushed it into Clare. After the battle with Priscilla the organisation did most likely the most logical thing and comfirmed the death of the Claymores and took the bodies, so there is the possibility of using Theresas, lets say, liver(?)  to make Clare a Claymore.

If I was Mr. Keep my dead Clayores in my office, I would not sacrifice the head (and brain for that matter) of the number one warrior of all time for an experiment with high failure-rate if I don't have to (and I don't).

Most likely exaggerated or untrue. I doub't that Duff (or any Claymore) remembers (or even knows) where which artery or nerve was, or where this msucle is connected to that bone. But eyes.. sure, you can remember HAVING them, but what they look like under your skull..? Rebuilding such an complext organ from "memory" is just silly. And Galatea most likely could remake hers, but it would make her yoma-sensing less efficient, so she chose not to. It's not like she needs them.

"Remembering" is most likely just remeber having them, like being able to remember the rain on your skin or remember seeing.

I have to respectfully disagree.

I feel, in my understanding/interpretation, that:

both of those opinions of yours, fails to match up with the manga content.

The Org never knew about Priscilla (only Rubel did), as they were shocked at how powerful this arm inside of Raki's back was and were wondering who/what in the world it could belong to. Though Dae did collect Teresa's dead body for his own experiments soon to be seen in the coming chapters...

Also, Clare herself, is abstractly talked about by the Org to Rubel, ~"If I remember correctly wasn't Clare the weakling who had only 1/4 Yoma in her, despite being implanted with Yoma flesh", which to me suggests that Rubel himself might have very well implanted "flesh and blood" (probably the brain) from Teresa's head into Clare. Rubel also tried to lie about Clare's success and high power level to the Org (and got caught). Obviously, Clare was Rubel's personal experiment...

....just like the secret Priscilla was as well, and then there's Rafaela too who Rubel blackmailed into being his "right hand man" through some kind of information about or pertaining to Luciela, and then he also helped out Miria and Galatea too, and then there's Ophelia who told him and only him about Miria's Partial Awakening, and not even her own BC, Ermita.

----------------------------------------------------

the manga explicityly says that Regeneration requires precise memory and this is why Galatea, Irene, Clare, and Rafaela can no longer Regenerate their missing body parts, regardless of the details to figure out, like how Dauf is able to remember his body parts for however long it takes him to Regenerate himself.
