Yes, certainly magic tools can be used by non wizards as proven by that treasure hunter guild, but tools that are powered by wizards magic cannot be used by non wizards.

It´s similar to how in Naruto only a very small portion of people are Ninjas within a militaristic society. As far as I get it Wizards are simply at the top of the foodchain when it comes to power and because the magic council has the most power of them all there are no mages to overthrow the country or even the continent with their powers.



Shortly spoken the good guys superseed the bad guys and that´s why every conflict get´s drowned before it even becomes too large.

That's how it was before but because of tarturas the magic council doesn't have access to its most powerful conflict stopping weapons. So the good and bad wizards are now on the same playing field, which is why Gramps felt he had to disband the guild and meet with that other country on a different continent alone.

I can totally see why people like jackal he was badass exploding the entire magic council of that time, he was serious badass before getting beat by Natsu. Too bad Natsu can eat his explosions if he couldn't Jackal would have won like the badass he is.

This chapter also proved one thing once again. Makarov is the best Guild Master. Erza doesn't even begin to fill his shoes

Yes, but there are people out there who praise FMA, for it´s "world building" while at the same time complaining that Fairy Tail has none.



First of all I´m gonna be straight and say, I´m not a fan of world building, because I do understand that it´s most often not necessary if the world is build mostly on our worlds rules.Kanic said:

I know and I never had a problem with it, my issue are specifically people who praise the series for it´s world building while simultaniously giving Fairy Tail shit for having none.



I do not thnk either of the series has good worldbuilding, neither does One Piece have. It´s unnecessary for such series and impossible to fullfill in the form of media they are presented.



J.R.R, Tolkien, George R.R Martin those are good world builders in my opinion(in the books).

Because the form of media allows it, they take several sections of their books just to describe a single country it´s culture, the color of their peoples skin their culture and or their race and they do it for any place the characters visit while comparing them to the places that have been introduced before.



Ofc without any worldbuilding a series can not exist but no Anime or Manga I´ve read or seen has managed to introduce good world building for me up till  today.



I could imagine a seinen series actually accomplishing that, but to be honest worldbuilding in shounen although varying in quality is always just sub par. Simply because it´s not the main focus of the story and would require sefveral chapters filled with text just to explain what distinguishes one place from another. I simply cannot imagine that form of narrative working for a Shounen.

I hope to see in this arc.



Angel and Yukino reunion, and I just have a feeling that they are Mira, Elfman, and Lisanna's cousins.



Mermaid Heel guildmaster, Hiro has been sitting on this big reveal long enough, so let it happen.



Hisui and Cream to interact, though who knows if the people of Veronica didn't impeach him after what he did. But it would be interesting to have an world leaders war submit, and they have to interact.

So basically, the author tried to make another threat happen. This time, it's an entire country. (Which will 99% be related to Zeref...)

I mean come on. Fiore has Zeref and Acnologia. Even the demons are present also.



Going back at the dragonslayers I doubt they'll find one since after the 5 dragons declared their age ended.

Call me stupid,but I finally realized how Mest's infiltration worked,after re-reading the chapter,lol.



Mest had his memories erased in order to blend into the council. Makarov would then periodically meet  with him,unlock his memories and ask him about his investigation. Then,after the report,Makarov would seal his memories again and go on,over and over and over again.



Man,I remember when that reveal happened and I was like "how can a mole work as one if he forgets that he is one?" This is the most obvious answer. Man,do I feel dumb,lol.



Well,this arc is gonna be huge. Hopefully,Mashima manages to make some more plot chapters. I would hate for this arc to be basically a "fighting arc" and then a plot dump and finally the end.



Still,the sirious island involved the guild,the GMC involved the kingdom,Tartarus involved the continent and now,a war between continents. The stakes have been getting higher. The only one bigger than this one is the world itself.

Dude exactly my thoughts as well. So glad we got this development and the people that thought Tartarus Arc was the peak can finally just move on.



People will still stay stuff like "Bullshit, this is random etc...." when in fact there are small hints of other continents and other threads.
