I am loving all the information we have been getting lately, but I kind of want something big to happen... I am so happy over this new arc!!! Yet have a little fear that Team natsu will fodder most of the guild because even out of Fiore's 500 guilds only like 8 really count (FT, MH, CS, QC, BP, ST, PB, LS) + the new saint council..... but the way this new country/empire is ran sounds like how the old master use to run Sabertooth.... so maybe there will be some good future fights!

Aww when Lucy got mad and covered Natsu's eyes.



Mesh's backstory was soooo good.... love the connection to his early weirdness tendencies...



Maybe laxus and thunder legion are doing recon in the empire..................



If Erza know, Jellal will be the next one to know



Uh.... was the invasion 10 years ago? Or 10 years plus the 7 year time jump? Are we talking about two years before natsu met lucy or like close to the time when the dragons went into the dragon slayers?

I think avatar will come to play in this saga. I'm under the assumption that avatar is from the west since they were relatively unknown even when the series discussed the balam alliance.

And yes, if other countries/continents are mentioned and you complain it came out of nowhere the only one at fault is yourself, that is if you can't understand why it's happening now.



Invasion attempt is still an invasion attempt, no matter what the reason was, the council could pretty much forge one (and it makes me wonder what do they know about LH).



As I said, we could have heard about that in the council reunions, since the council helped stopping the invasion there's no reason as to why they couldn't (the only reason being that maybe one or two council members were changed, but still, ignoring that over two new members...)



LH was supposed to be a secret, not the invasion attempt, though when Makarov saw Mavis ghost/spirit it would be nice if they had talked about that.



And you misunderstood what I said, mentioning other countries/continents doesn't make it foreshadowing, it's obvious that other countries/continent exist. But they never specified any nor said anything that could imply a big one formed by 750 guilds (if I got the number right), I mean, the 4 dark guilds (or was it 5?) was a big thing and never once they did mention a country/continent formed by 750.

Looking forward to seeing more of the world. Is it mentioned anywhere where Zeref's homeland is?

Plus,if Rogue and Minerva attacked his branch,he would be forced to blow his cover. Makarov,on the other hand,successfully sent a mole to infiltrate the heart of the council for 10 years. And he got everything he wanted from it. Plus,his mole was so efficient that it stopped the council from doing anything radical. When Lahar planned to inform the council about the events in sirious island,Mest stopped him and stole their lacrima. That prevented the council from using Etherion on it.



Well,Erza is just a placeholder. But yeah,Makarov is truly a great leader.

I like those kind of developments,FT is greatly improving for me since the Tartarus arc.

No one can top Makarov,to go to these lengths to save his family. I doubt any person in the guild could possibly do what he did.

i hope mavis  still alive and after they activated her, she and zeref clash and destroy the entire world and many casualties and then acnologia enters vs natsu  "END" AND BAM............. MY GOD I WANT MASHIMA TO RETIRE AND TAKE OVER HIS MANGA TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.HAJAJAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

So avatar arc was just into filler, before this big arc. I am just concerted because the anime moves so fast, they literal cut the episode to a true 14 minutes to slow its progression



It feels more like avatar arc or "guild collection" arc was planned to be longer but then some executive meddling happened and it was cut short.
