Also there you go again putting words in Mashima's mouth. Lets look at some of the other mythical creatures. Lets look at the devils/demons of Galuna. Were they anything like Tartaros? Nope they were actually weak and actually kinda normal outside of their appearance.
This God doesn't abide by your own self imposed standards. And you can't accept that. Just as you can't accept that Dragons > Gods in FT verse.

If you´d know one thing about japanese culture you´d know that Kamis/Gods are nothing like the christian god, they are pretty human just way more powerful.
Still as a writer, Hiro intended something by naming things demons/gods/dragons.
The point of the matter is.YOU DONT DO THAT! It´s a dickmove towards the audience and Hiro has proven yet again that he´s a shit writer whenever he pleases cause he knows people read his shit anyway.
I honestly hope that the sales will drop this year. Tartarus deserved all the praise, but Hiro just degraded himself once again. Fairy Tail was decent to good till Tenru Island.
After this arc , he just doesn´t kno how to write his arcs anymore besides Tartarus.
You are simply adorable if you think an arc that was over this quick will have any noticeable impact on sales. Only big arcs like Tartarus can influence sales. This Arc became completely irrelevant the moment Gray was revealed to be a Mole. An interlude before returning to the main plot. The only potential for it and anything in it to be of any real importance died with Gray's Villain status.
Also you really love to flaunt your own self imposed rules. First lets look at the demons. We have the Galuna demons and then the Tartaros demons. Both demons and they are nothing alike to each other.
You are stubbornly sticking to your self imposed expectations of gods. I will say it again Dragons > Gods or else Gods would not have allowed Dragons to run rampant at the top of the foodchain preying on their potential followers.
This God was a god in name only. That's it. Where are the temples, where are the believers of these so called gods? There aren't any. Certainly not in Fiore. This was merely a super powerful summon. When not facing someone who got his magic from the KING OF FIRE DRAGONS.
Also correct me if I'm wrong but didn't several of the Tartaros demons LOSE TO NON DEVIL SLAYER MAGIC? Oh wait they did. Again proving that Dragons were top guns because only magic that can harm them is Dragon Slayer magic while all other species so far have been able to be harmed by magics that are STRONG enough.
Let me put it simply so you get it.
Devil Slayer magic: Does most damage against Demons but Demons CAN still take damage from any other magic
God Slayer magic: Theoretically the same as Devil Slayer Magic
Dragon Slayer magic; THE ONLY MAGIC KNOWN TO AT LEAST AFFECT DRAGONS

I knew when i saw 24 pages and 18 pages that it was gonna be shit. I understand that natsu is supposed to be the strongest demon in zeref's book and a god should be nothing to him but WTF!!!!! 2 hit K.O? And because of what? Friendship???? None of his friends got so much as a scratch from that attack to make him angry enough to do that shit.
There was no mentioning of doing it for his friends! Natsu was pissed off because Arlock did not treat his comrades right. This battle was basically to show how strong natsu has become. So while he and everyone else gave moral lessons to that Preist, Natsu simultaneously kicked ass. And come on! It's natsu fighting naturally and you must realize that he has become strong. No nakama influence, pure fighting!
