No Fairy tail wasn´t always a oneshot fest, they always get overhyped but they got pushed back a couple of times, even though the fights are pretty similar to One Piece, aka I throw my shit at you then you throw your shit at me and we do this till one loses.



Yea same formula different execution. That's how I see it.



I admit though when the whole god thing got summoned, there was some small hope in me that this was gonna be intense, that we are going to be seeing something really badass from Fairy Tail.

But then of course you see Natsu by himself running up the god's blade, and at that moment I knew, my hopes dash, that Natsu was going to pump out the whole repetitive friendship speech.



A silent run and punch would've been just fine. *sigh

Even a god slayer loses to the power of friendship and one punch at that lmao.

So even though you've loved most of the series and praised the Tartarus arc up and down, yet story developments in a mini arc somehow ruined the whole series for you? Your opinions turn around so fast its nuts.

Before I begin, I apologize if someone has already pointed something like this out, but I couldn't be bothered to read every single comment in this topic.



Anyways, I see a lot of people complaining about Natsu 2-HKOing a god. But, did anybody else notice that this God was summoned?



Now, what do we know about summoning? Well, most importantly, the summoned being grows in power in relation to it's summoner. At least, that's how it works for Celestial spirits.



I see no reason why those rules shouldn't apply to this situation either though. The guy who summoned this god is obviously pretty weak. If he's weak, it stands to reason his summoned God would be fairly weak, for a God, as well.



With all that said, Natsu not having trouble with this god isn't very surprising.



Besides, we all know getting Fairy Tail back together is the more important issue, so making long drawn out arcs before then seems pointless. So, obviously, Hiro is using the opportunity to establish just how powerful Natsu has become. And of course he went out of his way to make Natsu have a friendship speech to show said friends that he's still the same idiot he always was. Just with a lot more firepower.



Of course, I could be entirely wrong, but I rather doubt it.

Lemme tell you that natsu comes from a guild where friendship and feelings are nurtured. And have you forgotten that Natsu uses Flames of emotions, i.e the more he is pissed off the stronger his flames get?

And nakama is only an influence to his strength nothing more.

Vs jellal- DF helped and he was angry on Simons death and him betraying erza

Vs Zero- Flames of rebuke and although I do agree he became strong out of nowhere

Vs Hades - Dual mode and the help from rest of the team plus exceeds

Vs Sting and Rogue- He was too OP for them + dual mode + annoyance on how they treated FT

Vs Future Rogue - Revenge fo Future Lucy and help from Atlas Flame.. Lucy closed the gate and I'm pretty sure the battle would go on if that hadn't happened

Vs Mard Geer - Natsu only wanted that book. He fought but it was gray who did the work (majority)Again, no mentioning of nakama

Seriously, only erza exaggerates this nakama thingy.. Think Clearly!

Lol, you just explained why people are pissed with the series.

Just what the hell was that? And what's the point of recent chapters where everyone is just easily getting kicked by OP Natsu... Eh, hope it will get more serious soon.
