Vampire Knight Chapter 87 Discussion

I'm sorry, but I'm getting a little annoyed at all the people who are saying that the chapters are lame and the story isn't going anywhere, ect. If you don't like the manga then don't read it.



I thought they kissed when I read the chapter but now I'm not so sure. But damn Kaname for ruining the moment -.- I seriously cannot feel any sympathy for Kaname whatsoever, though I do understand why he's doing what he's doing. I still hate him for ruining Zero's life and doing all of these terrible things to everyone.

Yuuki has also used "suki," to refer to her feelings for Kaname in the first arc (she hasn't explicitly said she loved him in this arc). Considering Yuuki was thinking about their [Zeki's] relationship and her feelings, and she stood on her tiptoes and tilted her head to kiss him (whether or not they actually did is unclear) I'd say the context of her suki is also romantic here.



Hope that clears things up! I imagine it'll be addressed more clearly in the next chapter now that Kaname has made another appearance.

I really enjoy the insight you have on this manga, underthesamesky. ^^  I really enjoyed your comments on the previous chapter and this chapter as well.  Things are really brought to light for me, which allows me to enjoy the chapter much more, after I see the things you have noticed or connect.

With the whole parallel scene from last chapter and then confessions of Yuuki's feelings in this chapter, I'm not very interested to see how this manga continues and what Yuuki's true feelings are.  I'm wondering if it is as you have analyzed where she feels like she belongs with Kaname and her true "love" feelings reside with Zero.  Or if her feelings for Kaname are more and Matsuri Hino is going to go the whole 'love triangle' route.



But, I really enjoy all of your theories and the things you notice!  It makes me anticipate the next chapters of Vampire Knight once more.

Seems I'm one of the few people on this forum that hates Zero and supports Kaname. I don't know to me Zero is an asshole and will always be an asshole. I can't ever come to like Zeki and if Kaname dies in the end and it is Zeki then my rating of this manga and anime will probably drop to about a four or a five.



Why you ask? Because it's cliche. Do you know how many manga there are where the girl gets the "bad boy" that she always fights with? Yes it's cute in some instances but it gets tiring after a while and I'd like something new once in a while. Hino-sensei will also lose my respect if she gives this a cliche ending.

Another lame chapter.

everything was going so well....this chapter was awesome....until that buzzkill at the end with kaname....



why does kaname insist on making zero suffer? i can understand his intentions but it doesn't justify it, it was unfair and cruel playing with peoples lives and their hearts



i was surprised when i heard that zero had been feeding on other vampires, i had a feeling he did such things with the way he talked about in the beginning of the time skip but i didnt think he was capable..... he has really changed. It would explain how he made it through a year without blood.... yuuki definitely wants him, and he wants her but they are forced to "mask" their thoughts and feelings due to their own insecurities



zero cares for yuuki and he admits that he cares for, but he knows that she also has feelings for kaname and he still has doubts about whether his feelings for her were just orchestrated by kaname's master plan



yuuki loves zero deep in heart, she knows that but she still has lingering feelings for kaname and is his fiancée, though she is struggling to resist him,  she wanted to give him her blood, licked his cheek, was about to kiss him (tippy toes as proof)

but the reason for pretty much ALL of zero's pain is because of kaname, its hard to feel any sympathy or even lose the urge to see kaname die at this point after all the shit hes done throughout this whole series

My Zeki feels are rising out of the pan at the moment :) I just love this ship I'm sorry ^^ I've heard that one of my friends had to go through 7 years of waiting to have a Zeki moment and it finally happened! they kissed! I can't believe it! I'm so happy! Well okay its there second kiss but in my mind the first kiss didn't really count because it was just one sided..



We have to wait a whole month for the chapter 88 raws. I am really curious what Kaname will do because he pops in in the last minute. Oh well we'll see next month ^^
