Vampire Knight Chapter 87 Discussion

Good development between Yuuki and Zero but Kaname. Geez. Why did he have to appear in that very important moment?

clearly zero loves Yuki....don't worry zero fans i don't hate him .it is just that only  because of kaname i'm reading the manga....when yuki is thirsty she becomes crazy! last chapter she said :" i belong to kamanme" and now she is almost kissing zero...so Matsuri Hino making it  a circle rateher than a  love triangle (not upset) because i don't care about it....sweet dreams for zeki then a Bam!!! punch in the face i found it funny. my best part was the last page...of course kaname didn't come to cut their Kiss ...killing some vamps maybe!?



but the bad one here is  not zero not even my kaname , it is Yuki!!! yes WHY??

because: she is childish in a dummy way, week , and can't make up her mind you can't have them both!

and because of her Kaname is suffering and did suffer before, and for protecting her he uses others , and made them suffer (zero case) . i don't hate her she has her good points as well to be fair... but this is   just my opinion .

I do wonder if most people (not all of course) who say that the story isn't going anywhere are people who are Zeki or Zero fans. XD And were kind of talking about the point where the manga shifted to be more about Kaname and revealing his past, setting up his plans, and so forth.



I also know that for me reading a new chapter once a month (or sometimes once every two months when a month is skipped).  It's actually really hard to keep up with what all is happening in the manga.  I just recently re-read the entire thing from page one to chapter 87 and I have to say that it pieced a lot of things together for me and really gave me a much better understanding of what all has been going on.

I'm just gonna say they kissed...she was clearly on her toes, reaching for him.



I also thought it was hilariously awesome how she pinned Zero down on the train.

Rather than make my post bigger I am just writing.  





Kaname was never unkind to Yuuki - lol -

Let's not forget that Kaname also after he turned Yuuki-



- made her leave Zero's side even though he knew he had feelings for her -

and he knew that they already needed each other's blood.



- thus basically making her partially starve unless she would feed only on him even though he KNEW that would not satisfy her craving.



- did the same to Zero by depriving him of Yuuki when he knew that Zero and Yuuki already had that type of blood bond.



- made Yuuki live in the bottom of the house - a place with no windows - basically trapped with Aidou as a guard for a YEAR - even though he knew she wanted to see her friends.      Did not deliver the letters she kept writing her friends.

This is when I really started disliking him.

Funny, I never see people talk about this type of behavior from him when it is what really turned me off of him completely.   It is subtle but very very controlling.



- acting very controlling of her,  so she would dress, have her shoes and her hair all in ways to his liking regardless of whether that was her style or not or how she wanted to dress.    The type of controlling behavior like he OWNS her.  



Kaname giving Zero his blood was as much to CONTROL Zero as it was to help him.   And I don't mean control just by preventing him from turning to level E as that I do consider help.   

When Kaname gives Zero and Yuuki it is so he can control them and so he will be their vampire master and the can't  kill him.     As long as they have his blood in them he is their master.     

They are his chess pieces.     He told his to Zero and others.   

The other princess was doing the EXACT same thing with the blood tablets, no vampire that ate them would be able to kill her.   

It is again the chess board thing.     That is obvious.  

The vampire ancestresses thus had to kill her not them.

They are his pieces  - not his friends - and he does not mind sacrificing his pieces to win the game.  



I think that was what Aidou's father's death was suppossed to show us.



Wintercrush -  I agree with you completely on that last spoilered part on Zero exactly,  I think he really really loves Yuuki and just did not know how to deal with her becoming what he hated and he hates himself for being turned too.   But he seems to be getting over that.   



Now,  I don't hate Kaname - I know this is part of a very elaborate game of his that has been going on for a very long time, and I do believe he loves Yuuki too and that Zero does.  

I have a feeling that Kaname will seal Yuuki back into being a human ( the rose that blooms once every ten years ) like her mother did or something like that.   

Or that ultimately many many of them including one or more main characters will die.

And this is the reason I can't bring myself to sympathize with Kaname at all. I get it, you were only trying to protect what was important to you, but you fucked Zero's life up in the process.exactly, and its not just zero's life he fucked up, its pretty much every characters life hes ruined significantly,



I said it a billion times in other threads, if kaname doesnt die by the end of this series thats a inexcusable offense



Anyhow actually onto the chap, i think the writer needs to make up her god damn mind already for both the romantic plotpoints but also to what the fuck kind of story this is even trying to be, these past chaps have been all over the place, rushed, and just poorly written, this was more meh than bad(though making yuuki finally stop being a fangirl for the wrong guy is a huge improvement)
