I may not share the same view as those who criticize, but I genuinely believe this novel is absolutely fantastic! Admittedly, the protagonist's overpowered nature and large harem might irk some readers, but for me, that just adds to the charm. His power isn't handed to him effortlessly; he faces challenges and even comes close to death at times. And regarding his harem, he's not your typical harem protagonist – he primarily focuses on one love interest and actively tries to prevent others from developing feelings. Of course, a harem still forms, but it stands out as unique compared to others. The fantasy setting is incredible, with thrilling action, heartfelt romance, and a gripping plot that sets it apart from many Japanese novels. So far, this is my favorite. Yes, better translation could be an improvement, but overall, it's a masterpiece. I wholeheartedly recommend it to fans of fantasy, harem, or OP main characters. This novel holds a special place in my list as my top choice – it's simply 100% awesome through and through!

I genuinely adore this narrative; it's incredibly captivating, and I appreciate the protagonist's unwavering loyalty to one girl. It would be fantastic if someone could take up the translation of the remaining 50 chapters.

I’ve been waiting since the site was attacked and all the chapters for a bunch of novels were removed for the chapters to be added back to this but it’s been so long that I’ve honestly just given up on ever getting to read them again.

To all who complained about the CGI being terrible in the first season, it gets so much better in season 2.

This web novel has become one of my all-time favorites, particularly in the reincarnation genre. It stands out as one of the top reads in recent years, offering a wealth of content, particularly during the first 180 chapters. The additional chapters provide a more lighthearted and enjoyable pace, making it an ideal leisure activity. However, there are a few arcs, like those involving Kouki, Tio, and Endo, which carry a heavier tone and delve deeper into the original storyline. These sections remind us of the主角's awe-inspiring power, Hajime's epic journey. If you're a fan of magic, weaponry, captivating love interests, multiple worlds, and an incredibly strong protagonist, I highly recommend giving this series a try.

I don't usually write reviews, but I feel compelled to share a balanced perspective on this series amidst the extreme opinions it receives. The series has a unique structure that shifts from a dark revenge tale in the first volume, catering to a specific audience, to a lighter harem storyline, attracting a different crowd.

The overall narrative isn't bad – it's a standard hero-in-a-fantasy-world plot, but with our protagonist not being the traditional hero. The conflict escalates predictably to include gods, which may be expected but still executed well, considering it's an online novel.

Hajime, the main character, undergoes significant transformation, starting as a bullied loner, then becoming cold and self-centered. Some fans appreciate the darker phase, but later, Hajime evolves into a more righteous protagonist, which some find conflicting. I see it as his struggle to regain his kind-hearted nature while grappling with his past weaknesses.

The harem aspect can be a mixed bag. While it's not your typical cliche, Hajime does choose one girl, and others support him despite their unrequited love. However, the portrayal of Shia and Tio as comedic relief can feel overdone, bordering on awkward or unsettling at times.

The supporting characters, mainly his classmates, are somewhat one-dimensional, but they serve as a refreshing break from the central focus on Hajime's journey. They provide enough depth without overshadowing the story.

The world-building is decent, incorporating familiar elements of a transported hero story but with enough originality to prevent boredom. It strikes a balance between cliches and surprises.

In conclusion, if you enjoy both dark and lighthearted narratives, this series could be worth a read. It's unclear if the author intentionally changed direction or simply evolved their vision. Regardless, the story, setting, writing, and characters are solid, making it an enjoyable experience despite its inconsistencies.

Firstly, for those seeking a story where the protagonist, after acquiring incredible powers, seeks revenge on those who wronged them, I suggest you explore "Sutaretara Yuusha no Eiyuutan" or "Legendary Shield Hero" instead, as that might better align with your expectations. Although the premise involves a cunning yet vulnerable character, our protagonist Nagumo Hajime, being indirectly targeted by a classmate, this narrative does not revolve around revenge.

Nagumo starts as an ordinary anime fan, bullied by a classmate who genuinely tries to befriend him due to his kindness and unique traits. Summoned to another world, he finds himself in a dangerous situation alongside classmates, where jealousy and foolish actions lead to a tragic accident that leaves him disfigured – losing an arm, an eye, and nearly turning into a violent barbarian without the intervention of the female lead.

The central theme of this book is about betrayal and survival in a hostile new world, where both divine manipulation and monsters threaten one's existence. Following a traumatic experience, Nagumo, driven by the instinct to survive, becomes ruthless towards threats but maintains empathy for his companions and the innocent. He focuses on finding a way back to his own world, utilizing his newfound abilities wisely, rather than seeking petty revenge. The story is not about revenge, but rather a journey of friendship, self-discovery, and unconventional choices, all while navigating the challenges of the new world. I would rate the main storyline at 4.5/5 and the after-story, filled with humor, at a full 5/5.

To be frank, the story had a promising start, but it quickly declined. I held out hope that it might improve, so I pushed through and even read the Chinese version. Unfortunately, the protagonist ended up recruiting classmates to boost their power based on some nonsense about a lonely lifestyle, and one of them was none other than the universally despised wannabe hero, Kouki. At that point, I realized it was a lost cause and decided to call it quits.

If your interest lies in an OP hero's globe-trotting adventure, this might be mediocre but tolerable. However, if you're seeking revenge-driven plot, you'll be disappointed.
