Betrayed by her mom as well. Interesting that the manga opts to reveal what Gendo said before killing Ritsuko. Not that it makes any difference now...

The hideous mass produced Evas seems to have the upper hand now. Not looking good for our protagonists.

So we waited what 18 months for 14 pages? Jesus. Looks like Shinji might save Asuka in this version which would be an interesting twist.

Soo..we waited a whole goddamn year and a half for 14 pages??



Meh...better than nothing I guess. Seems events are playing on a slightly different course. BUT SHINJI needs to save Asuka! Maybe then can go through Instrumentality at the same time...

Anyway, Ritsuko died, but the manga actually tells us what Gendo said to Ritsuko before shooting her, which was a big question in the original anime.

Meanwhile, interesting developments in the massive Eva fight going on. It was different to see Asuka actually being sort of nice to Shinji, and clearly showing concern in his battle against the MP Evas.

So much indirect drama between these characters. All happening at the same time as the action

As already said, it is unbelievable that we had to wait such a long time just for 14 miserable pages. And no, the "brave" Shinji is not worth the wait >_>

I've said it on the other thread and I'll say it here again: The action in this manga is terrific to the core and is better than the Anime. Aside from that, I am glad Ritsuko died, although I want Gendo to die as well. Both annoy me so much.
