Duke cabezo’s distant relatives comes to Elizabeth for her wealth. They didn’t care when elizabeth was abused when she was a child. But they were now praising Elizabeth and elizabeth didn’t care and shut them out. They all went away and plan something and try to make rumors about Elizabeth to the crown princess but she knows elizabeth is not like that and doesn’t believe them. They are angry. But a hooded guy comes in and killed them and takes their soul. Investigation on their death begins. The investigators question elizabeth and she agrees to help them. inspector Furst gives a box he found in her relatives box to her that he found that it was a precious heirloom of the cabezo. (As mentioned in last spoiler post)
Elizabeth thinks that the potion turned back time. Elizabeth keeps the potion in the study. Elizabeth celebrates her birthday which Dylan hosted and inspector Furst keeps telling her how it will be if the heirloom really does turn back time like it implies in the description Elizabeth can save her mother. Elizabeth doesn’t want to talk about that to him and Dylan helps her and tells inspector Furst to leave.
After the party, Elizabeth still keeps looking at the potion and Dylan comes in and she puts the potion in the draw and looks at Dylan. Dylan looks at the potion but doesn’t ask any questions.when Dylan and Elizabeth are going to rest, Dylan says he will do whatever decision she takes. She realises that he has been hearing the conversation with the inspector. She tells him not to worry that she’s already happy and is not gonna use that. He still says whatever she does, he will come back to her.
Dylan says she might want to talk to her maternal family (Elizabeth’s uncle - mom’s brother) to know about her mother. She sends a letter to him but was rejected but still goes out to meet him. She finds him in the books store buying the book baroness Terran wrote about leschine family and Elizabeth. He refuses to talk at first but then gives up and talks to her . It was because he wanted to know about the real reason for Elizabeth’s mom ‘s death. Elizabeth found out that her mother was killed by Diana in investigation. But she tells him the her mom really died from being I’ll. She didn’t want him to worry.
It was revealed that Elizabeth’s mom was also a spiritsman but they hid it because people with ulterior motives can force her to marry her as the baron didn’t have enough power to fight them. And people cursed by the demons can cure their curses by marrying spiritsman.
Elizabeth’s mom was forced to marry Ferdinand because the predecessor duke blocked all marriage proposals to Pirena. Pyrena would rather live alone than marry Ferdinand but her father got sick suddenly and they didn’t have enough money. Elizabeth talks more with him and tells that they can talk whenever he wants to and bids farewell.
Dylan is leaving the mansion with Damon and Victoire to visit the predecessor of leschine’s cemetery which is going to be reinstated . In the cabezo mansion, an inspector comes to receive the evidence that was lost and Elizabeth realises it’s the that inspector Furst gave and returns and doubts him. Who she returns the box the inspector, her hand brushes against the inspector and it is cold. But Elizabeth doesn't pay mind to it. Suddenly Marilyn rushes in panting that there was an accident and the carriage carrying Damon, victoire and Dylan has overturned on the road. Marilyn tells Elizabeth that they are all dead.
Elisabeth is shocked and won't accept it and rushes to the leschine mansion in the horse and finds their corpse. Elisabeth doesn’t want to accept that her family dies leaving her alone and finds the potion in her hand. She thinks if she drinks it she can go back in time and save them. But suddenly the black liquid in the vial turns into white smoke. The inspector Addis from behind but Elizabeth turns back to look at him (or her). She used the water power to purify the liquid. Socage finds the truck and the inspector reveals that himself as the black magician. Elizabeth realises that he is a demon and they contact with people but giving that black liquid (blood?).
The black magician was happy when Ferdinand face poison to kill Elisabeth. He tells the truth that her soul was his but she couldn’t take it as she was a spiritsman’s daughter. And the truth about the deal between the predecessor duke and him to give the souls of his descendants for the downfall of leschine. Elisabeth is shocked. He only found that he can’t take her after she dies so he brought her back and tried to give her the liquid which means she made a direct deal with her abs her soul will become his. And if she gives her soul he will save her family. Elizabeth decided to take the potion as it will be better that they love them her living alone And tried to drink it.
But aceperas who was gone came back and told her something. And Elizabeth isn’t scared anyone And purifies The blood. She uses the water to purify her surrounding and the wall crumbles and they are still in cabezo mansion. It was all a illusion and the leschine are not dead. A lot of spirits come and hold down demon Furst aceperas brings the Olga’s heart (which was the heart of the person to defeat Furst and lock him up) Olga says he will destroy him and destroys the demon and disappears.
The spirits tell Elizabeth the truth about her mom that she made a contract with the spirits to protect Elizabeth in her absence. Pyrena knew the deal between the predecessor duke and the demon while she was managing the household on behalf of the incompetent Ferdinand. But as per the contract pyrena has to die. But she can’t kill herself. So she had to wait until death or being murdered. That’s why even when she knew Diana used by the demon is giving her poison she drank it.
Elisabeth is astonished and cried for what her mother had gone through. The spirits tell her that her mother is going to become a spirit and now she is working hard for that. It will be in nearly 10,000 years. The spirits ask Elisabeth too to become a spirit after she dies and if she wants she can become a spirit in 5,000 years and it will go by in a blink of an eye. Elizabeth smiles and the spirits are done as the door opens.
Elisabeth sees Victoire, Damon and Dylan coming in and rushes towards them and hugs them and happy that her family is still there.
End of 1st Side story
This side story is one year before Elisabeth debuting in the society. Baroness Terran Conan the leschin men to send Aligarh to her territory in the north to learn etiquette. Elisabeth goes there with Dylan and Marilyn. They were worried about Elisabeth catching a cold but the house is warm and grass growing. It sends the baron used to do that using the elementalists for his wife when he was alive. They baroness decided to host a tea party for Elizabeth and on that elicit meets a lot of people but also meets a girls who acts arrogantly that she knows better about social circle than Elizabeth. Elizabeth gladly accepts her invitation to Isabelle’s house as Isabelle starts her brutal lesson for Elisabeth. Elizabeth is tired but gets along quite well with the advice Isabelle gives her. The baroness hosts a banquet for Elisabeth and Dylan attend with her. Everyone praised Elizabeth.
When Isabelle calls for Elisabeth from a distance, everyone queries what commotion is she gonna cause. It was half anticipation and half worry. But when Isabelle acts like a gentle sheep with Elisabeth everyone is shocked. Even the famous nosy gossip lady praised Elisabeth of her maturity. The baroness wanted to brag but didn’t want to sound like a light mouth.
Everyone started dancing but Elisabeth didn’t as she didn’t know enough dancing.
A boy approached Elisabeth and asks for a dance and won’t take a no when Elisabeth continuously refuses him and even picks a fight with Isabelle. Dylan Swoops in forcibly and actors the dance invitation and drags the guy for a dance (LOL). He dances (?) with The guy for full 3 subs and the guys runs away. Dylan and Elisabeth talk in the empty room about the dance and they dance alone in the room and Elisabeth thinks everything when doing with him is easy.
