The story started off very started, and the author didn't waste any time getting to the meat of everything, although I would appreciate some breathing room so the reader can get immersed. The writing is simple, but it flows very well and is easy to read.overall strong start

As expected from Sandkastle, this book, like her previous ones, is excellent. I love how Zeno is trying unsuccessfully to be unsuccessful—he is literally failing at failing. I also appreciate the ironic comments that mirror real-world situations, along with the humorous, quirky details that, while not directly related to the plot, enhance the book's charm.
