After the duke leschine is re-instated Elizabeth becomes a princess too. Duke cabezo knows that the king reinstated duke leschine to make control the outgrowing powers of duke cabezo.
Victoire unlike before doesn’t want revenge on cabezo but he said to himself that if anything happens to Elizabeth because of them he will fight back and destroy them.
Here’s the plot twist.
Diana cabezo (polia’ s mom ) is alive and she was in hiding all along and polia knows her mom is alive she’s been writing letters to her secretly. Polia and Diana stole money through the butler (their lackey) just in case but what they wanted the most was power of duke cabezo . Damon made Ferdinand (duke cabezo) invest a lot in profitable business a few times this time finally pulls a profitable but dangerous deal that costs 5 million ( a lot) and makes Ferdinand sign it.
All the loan Ferdinand got was from Denver pub (owned by Diana) and they charge lot of interest against imperial law. They were sure that the business would fail as the import ship will sink as there is a strong chance for storms in that sea. And when Ferdinand can’t pay back they can swallow the whole dukedom.
After Diana knows the situation how her daughter is locked up and mistreated, she preponed her plan and goes to duke cabezo. She still looks exactly the same as the day when died. She tells him that after she fell she was treated and she lived in a monastery without her memories and now her memories are back. So, she came to find them. Dumb duck cabezo believes her.
Duke cabezo throws a party for duke leschine’ s reinstatement and invites the leschine family. Victoire, Damon, Dylan and Elizabeth go to the party and cabezo introduces Diana to all and says that he’s happy because his wife is back. Elizabeth is really shocked and remembers how she abused her.
Both dukes are summoned because now-a-days lot of people are dying coughing up black blood and emperor wants to know why and stop it. Cabezo says it’s infectious disease and Victoire says it’s not a infectious disease but might be black magic and they have to confirm it. Duke cabezo and duke leschine are invited to the royal academy to celebrate the graduation of the students. Damon can’t come as he is busy as the count. Victoire Dylan and Elizabeth go to the ceremony and duke cabezo with his family is there too. Elizabeth wants see Edith (her professor who knew her abuse and tried to help her but couldn’t do anything; edith even quit cabezo because he can’t teach polia because polia is too DUMB! (LOL) and continues to teach in the academy after grieving for Elizabeth’s death when she was Emily because she was an amazing student who didn’t neglect Edith because of status. (Edith Is a commoner)
Polia arrives with her family and sits in a seat reserved for Elizabeth and won’t move because her damn pride. She gets scolded and Victoire , Dylan and elizabeth enter the academy and Elizabeth tours the academy with Edith.
Edith feels that Elizabeth resembles a lot of Emily (she is kind just like Emily) and and many students talk to Elizabeth. Polia is jealous because she was the only princess and was popular but she lost everything to Elizabeth.Diana can’t see polia sad and takes a glass of juice and a black mist raises from her fingers and goes into the juice. She gives the juice to a waiter nearby and asked him to give it to Elizabeth as she is tired but don’t tell her that it’s her because she would feel burdened. Elizabeth drinks the juice and feels weird and goes into the restroom.
She vomits black blood and is shocked because her disease is supposed to grow a year later but it is suddenly growing now. She wipes the black blood with her hand Kerchief and Diana comes in and asks her to ready as she looks pale.Elizabeth tells her not to pretend to be close. Diana reveals her true form an old wrinkly figure . Diana touches Elizabeth’s blue hair and it turns golden for a second and turns blue again. She tells how could she be alive when she tried to kill her. She said there was no way she wouldn’t recognise the little girl who was addicted to her black magic. (We found it. Diana poisoned Elizabeth slowly to kill her and the only reason Elizabeth is alive is because she has spirit affinity)
There was a situation where a child fell in the road coughing up black blood and Elizabeth saves the child using her powers and this is known throughout the empire. So she joins the temple to help find a cure for the epidemic. Elisabeth faints with loud sound and Prince rotar comes in. Diana shows him Elizabeth’s golden hair and says the she is Emily cabezo and she was hiding because she didn’t want anybody to know to how she pushed Diana from a cliff and she doesn’t deserve to crown princess and only polia is deserving of the seat. Prince rotar is shocked but tells Diana to shut her mouth and not to tell anyone about this or he’ll cut her tongue. Dylan comes in and sees Elizabeth with black blood from her mouth and takes Elizabeth from there. Diana is furious.
Elizabeth is sleeping in her room and Victoire , Damon and Dylan are in another room in a grim mood. They don’t know what to do as Elizabeth also shows the same symptoms of the epidemic.and after discussion they plan to take her to red lake where Aceperas resides he is a water spirit. He was angry at the human kind and contaminated the lake which made the lake red and lives there.
Next morning, Victoire says they never went on a trip with family and asks everyone about going to red lake. Elisabeth knows what they’re doing and just goes along with it. In the picnic, they throw spirit stones into the lake and Elizabeth dishes legs in the water and the water responds to her. All the villagers start to call Elizabeth as a girl loved by nature.
At night a smoke comes out of the lake and creeps into the mansion where Elizabeth with her family is staying. Elizabeth the wakes up and realised its aceperas and apologies for throwing spirit stones into the lake. The smoke was choking all 4 members at night. Elizabeth says its her fault and she will take the punishment and let the others go. Aceperas says that they are not her family. Humans are selfish and they will throw him away after everything they need is done, Also her name, her hair her identity and her family is all take and he will consider to have a contract with her if she sincerely accepts her identity And leaves. After the picnic is over, they all return to the mansion. Elizabeth and her friend Marquis’s daughter Maia and go to the fortune teller to see their love luck. The fortune teller tells Elizabeth that if she wants to be with her destined one, she has to part ways once and it will be really painful. While saying Maia’s luck the fortuneteller asks Elizabeth to go outside and it seems Prince rotar asks\ed the fortune teller to do that. Prince rotar tells Elizabeth to marry him. Elizabeth refuses After that, there is famous theatre play and both dukes along with their family go there and the play is overlay similar to Diana, polia and Elizabeth living in the cabezo family except Elizabeth is featured as a villain there. Damon wants to go out and Prince rotar says that he will ask who made such a play but Dylan and Elizabeth Sit because if they get up they will know that they’re feeling uncomfortable with it.
After the play is over and the actors gather on stage, one of the actors falls down coughing up blood. Elizabeth rushes to the stage to save the actor but realises the actor’s eyes has no focus and there’s no heartbeat she looks at Diana. Diana frames Elizabeth for doing this play to gain attention and binds Elizabeth with magic. Diana says that Elizabeth is the warlock ( black magician) killing people and few lackeys placed by Diana among the witnesses support Diana. Damon, Dylan and Prince rotar take out their swords. Diana further shows them Elizabeth’s golden hair to everyone and that she is Emily and she has been hiding because of her guilt of pushing her from the cliff.
Everyone is nearly convinced and Diana smirks proudly and asks Elizabeth about her true identity. Elizabeth remembers Aceperas’s voice and accepts that Emily a was her past name and suddenly water surges around Elizabeth and releases her bound. The water forms two walls and shows how Diana beats her and how Diana jumped from the cliff though Elizabeth was firmly holding her. Diana is flustered and screams that she is lying but Eli Barth walks to her and holds and chin and releases her and the crowd gasps in shock and horror. She is back to her original form.
Diana’s story: Diana was a prostitute and Ferdinand usually comes to her. She wanted more power and signed a deal with a demon. And entered cabezo’ s mansion . She wanted permanent power. So she killed pyrena ( Elizabeth’s mother) and wanted her daughter to be the country’s only princess so she wanted to kill Elizabeth too. But she has strong spirit affinity. Killing elizabeth took her vitality. She was going to die in a month or two. So to make her death useful for daughter she made the cliff drama. After she fell, she slept for a lot of days to heal herself. But the price paid to survive was her beauty. She looked like a old woman. She knew Ferdinand only like her because of her beauty . So she killed people and took their vitality (the epidemic people dying while vomiting black blood). Elizabeth if she lived in the mansion would have died because of the black magic poison and is alive because she escaped from there. Diana is arrested and is to be executed. Elizabeth apologises to the king and king says that he’s glad her memories have returned playing along with her. As a reward for catching the black magician, Elizabeth asks to her be reinstated as the duke of cabezo as Ferdinand is incapable because he didn’t manage the household properly and let a black magician in the house.
The king even the leschine family is shocked but the king agrees. Elizabeth visits Diana in the cell where she was tortured. She questions. She asks Diana about how she used black magic to change the trical (one half of olga’s heart ) to look like she was not of duke’s blood. Diana laughs because her mother begged her to save her and to save Elizabeth even at the moment of dying. And Diana thought it would be fun if Elizabeth was disgusted by her only father too. Elizabeth threatensthat she’s gonna make polia live in worse hell than Diana lived. She’s gonna throw her to the brothel just how Diana lived too. (Elizabeth didn’t do it she just lied to Diana) and leaves while Diana is screaming to leave her daughter alone.
Elisabeth arrives at the duke with Marianne (her nanny) and refuses duke to change her name back to Emily and takes charge as a duke and make Ferdinand stay as a guest In the house (he deserves it cuz he was expecting a lot as polia can’t become crown princess and became useless, he was planning to make Elizabeth the crown princess to increase his power) Elizabeth also makes polia a servant. The servants don’t accept Elizabeth as duke yet so Aceperas creates a fire and all servants run out of the house and Elizabeth uses her ability to pour a huge chunk of water on the mansion but soon finds that the fire was just an illusion Aceperas created as nothing is damaged and no one is injured
sir fet (the glory knight who was blindly loyal to polia) is safety at Elizabeth due making polia work as a servant and vows to kill Elizabeth to zeadinand and tries to kill Elizabeth when she was sleeping but Aceperas helps her and Aceperas kill him by surrounding him in water to choke and ice crystals pierces his body and the water cuboid turns red.
Polia is harassed by all the servants she assaulted. Polia is asked to do laundry, cut all the thorns of the rose bushes, etc. Elizabeth is planning to destroy the duke from inside. She bought the Denver club so cabezo won’t fall into Diana’s grasp ( Damon using a loophole made cabezo fall into big pit of loan by just withdrawing from doing the contract and pays the fine. Elizabeth also sent the trical to Victoire. She knew she can’t go back to leschine after she became the duke of cabezo. So, she keeps a distance between them.
She’s paying back all the loan cabezo had, so the finances are bad. She also reduced the taxes that were sky high to low amount and found and cleared lot of corruption. One example was a Marquis was contaminating an entire river so the farmers won’t be able to use the river to farm, so he could sell his farm products at a higher price. She doesn’t meet any nobels unless necessary. After destroying the dukedom, Elizabeth was planning to go away from here to somewhere and live quietly.
Elizabeth wears black hood and watches Diana get executed. It was a dull blade so Diana doesn’t die quickly and screams a lot. Polia also witnesses this from a distance and curses how her ruined it for her. A man in a hood comes to polia and hands her a bottle. It can make her a black magician like her mother. She doesn’t want become like her but he still gives her the bottle to think about it. Leschine mansion is desolate. Victoire sometime cries Damon doesn’t smile or laugh as much as before but Dylan knew why Elizabeth did it and was patient. Baroness teran comes to see where she couldn’t see her cute niece and plans to celebrate her birthday here and sends an invitation to Elizabeth. Elizabeth attends and talks warmly with baroness teran (because she thought she was now a cabezo their enemy. so they will hate her- my poor baby) and the Marquis I told u before about her daughter is really jealous of Elizabeth how she was just an low born girl turned into leschine and suddenly she became the duke. Elizabeth makes her shut up with a few sentences and baroness teran is proud. Marquis’ son comes this time and tries to seduce her and Elizabeth yeeted him too just with a few words.
Dylan comes to Elizabeth asks for Elizabeth’s first dance and they dance. Elizabeth is saying whether he knew the meaning of first dance and Dylan replies yes and he is glee she is leschine so he doesn’t have to approach her as a brother and whispers near her ear that he can approach her like any other man. Elizabeth says that the rumour will spread. Dylan replies that he will take care of it.
As Elizabeth said, rumours spread about Dylan and Elizabeth which are mostly positive as such fated love, love after growing up together. But Dylan didn’t to didn’t anything to stop it at all. But the Marquis Orl’s daughter (polia’ s friend who was jealous of Elizabeth) says that they grew up as sibling so it’s horrible. She says the same to Elizabeth to her face when they meet again and before Elizabeth could speak Dylan comes in and takes Elizabeth on a horse to somewhere.
It was a very calm village called Riplias Dylan takes her near a cottage and says that he knows she will go somewhere after she finished everything. Instead of going somewhere unknown he asks her to stay in this village and this is a very safe place and far from capital. And a place he knows. He begs that if she doesn’t want to he won’t see her face again and he’ll be happy as along he can see the chimney smoke when he passes by sometimes that you’re doing well. Dylan’s voice really desperate.

Dylan holds her hand comes near her face. Elizabeth drunk in the atmosphere lets Dylan kiss her. They both kiss for a long time and it was already night. So, they both stayed in the mansion for the night (NO. Snu snu didn’t happen). The next morning, Elizabeth got up alone, took a wagon and left . After that, Dylan sends a letter to Elizabeth daily though Elizabeth doesn’t reply. It was mostly about how they were doing and she is doing.
Ferdinand Is currently staying at the Marquis of orl after Elizabeth thre him out. The loan sharks who charged against imperial law comes to him for money and the Marquis let’s them in because he can’t tolerate the duke anymore. Ferdinand asks the loan sharks that he will no longer pay as he is not the duke.
But loan sharks already went to Elizabeth but she told them off saying she won’t pay for such illegal interest and if they keep insisting he will file all the evidence if their black money. So they’re here to get the money from the easier prey. And ferdinand tells them that he will pay even twice the amount if they help him get his duke title back. They are as if if they lost they will have more money to collect, and asks Ferdinand to write a contract for that.
The Marquis of orl is trying to ‘tame’ Elizabeth in a nobles meeting held once in 6months but she fires him off and Marquis of Ollie (father of lady Maia- Elizabeth’s friend), Victoire and the king support her. The king talks about how the new duke (Elizabeth had a lot of evidence against the corruption of main vassals Ferdinand and the Marquis of orl.
Marquis of Ollie also gives an evidence of letter between Ferdinand and his old butler of separation from the kingdom and creating a new principality with his dukedom. The king furious, orders the traitor to be caught. Victoire smirks thinking he revenged the same way cabezo did with the letter imitating his handwriting.
Polia listens to the rumour that the duke is gonna collapse because of the finance and worries that her last chance of becoming a princess will go away. Enraged she goes to ask Elizabeth about that. And Elizabeth replies a servant doesn’t have the right to know that.

there’s a time skip of 1 year . Elizabeth is now a lively girl. It’s been exactly one year after she came to the daughtry mansion and she wishes someone remembers it. She remembers how there were flowers in her birthday outside her room on her birthday congratulating her on her birthday from her father she believes it and takes the flower to her father to thank him And he hits her on the cheek for stealing the expensive flowers from polia. Polia smiling at FL from behind duke and acts all pitifully that’s it’s ok. It seems she asked her father for the bouquet and put it before FL’s door to cause this drama. Damon, Dylan and Victoire are going to war soon and Elizabeth overhears it. She makes them 3 little kerchief for them. Damon is still a kid. But to gain recognition from king, as the king asks Damon as he is considered as a genius in swordsmanship Damon goes too. Dylan left a flower pot for her and wrote in the note that he will come back before the flower withers. The war is against undead of another country. That country is using black magic to control them. Victorie was tracking those spies and came back bloody. Damon thinks his dad did it because he his furious because he can always finish it cleanly. The reason Victoire did it because the other undead slightly tore the kerchief Elizabeth gave him . He slashed the corpse even after the spy died. Elizabeth writes a letter to them. Damon and Dylan read the letter again and again. Damon writes to Marian and butler instead of Elizabeth to sing her lullaby and give other instructions and lastly guiltily writes that this is only for the good for the revenge. Elisabeth plants flowers in the garden and watches it bloom again and again and waits for her brothers and father until it withers. She is walking in the garden and hears dylan’s voice and looks back. She thinks it’s a hallucination but it is true. And sees victoire and Damon walking towards her. She excitedly runs to them calling them "dad" and "oppa". Victoire hugs her. Dylan is jelly because she called Damon oppa(lol). ‘Victoire keeps saying dad will do it for you, dad will buy it for you because Elizabeth called him dad. Elizabeth already embarrassed is even more flushed. And they ask her what gift does she want for her birthday. While they are arguing, Damon suggests that they give her THAT gift. Victoire accepts and brings a magic scroll to Elizabeth. the moment Elizabeth touches the scroll some thing happens and the scroll disappears into her hand. Elizabeth is scared what it is. Whether it is a location magic or a shackle magic to prevent her escape. But they give her a mirror and she sees her hair sky blue just like her family. Victoire says though the face is recognisable the hair will prove her that she is the youngest daughter of the daughtry family. They paint a family portrait. The painter feels that the little girl who was feeling dark though she is loved by the family has completely changed and now looks so lively and cheerful. The painter was a commoner and Victoire asked him to draw his family portrait. He became famous after that. His drawing are always sold out. It he never draws portrait. The painter feels bad that the portrait of Elizabeth is to be a secret because such portraits is to be boasted about. Polia wants a portrait from callius( the painter) because if she has what others don’t have she will be different. The duke goes to the painter and sees a Marquis there. Marquis is rejected and duke is waiting in the waiting room. Marquis and duke go to the exhibition inside the studio of the painter’s drawing. There he hears a familiar voice of a lady and he tries to touches them. The old lady fumes at him. Duke is embarrassed and says the little girl looked familiar to his daughter( yeah idiot it is her) Marquis recognises the little girl as Elizabeth because of her blue hair. Duke becomes shameless how he tried to touch a girl without permission and Marian is angry. Duke order her to apologise for berating a higher nobleman. And Elizabeth comes forward.they are more or less. Right.
He was devastated. He was really shocked when he realised she still smiled and treated them and family though she knew about their motives.I don't remember perfectly but I think he cried and apologized to her a lot. Elizabeth consoles him Side story happens before their child is born when Elizabeth and Dylan are just newly wed. Victoire still Hates the thoughts of Dylan flirting with Elizabeth cuz he still get used to Elizabeth and Dylan as married couples (he literally hated that Dylan seducing Elizabeth) And the side story is not just about fluffy moments. I only read the first few chapters. But it deals with the black magician that have the power to Diana and Polly and also tells the secret of her time travel.
The previous Duke who Framed victoire family made a deal with a black magician to help him and the price that the previous Duke paid gave was the souls of his descendants. The black magician had been consuming the souls of distant relatives of the Elizabeth family and that's why he helped Diana and Polly to kill her patiently. Because Elizabeth had the thickest blood of her family and is the most tastiest (that's what he said). And the poison Elizabeth's biological dad gave her was portion made the family's ancestors. Only She was able to read what was written on the vial. About the power in case they were powerless and hopeless for another chance. Guys I’m back with side stories! Finally read the raws. Duke cabezo’s distant relatives comes to Elizabeth for her wealth. They didn’t care when elizabeth was abused when she was a child. But they were now praising Elizabeth and elizabeth didn’t care and shut them out. They all went away and plan something and try to make rumors about Elizabeth to the crown princess but she knows elizabeth is not like that and doesn’t believe them. They are angry. But a hooded guy comes in and killed them and takes their soul. Investigation on their death begins. The investigators question elizabeth and she agrees to help them. inspector Furst gives a box he found in her relatives box to her that he found that it was a precious heirloom of the cabezo. (As mentioned in last spoiler post)
Elizabeth thinks that the potion turned back time. Elizabeth keeps the potion in the study. Elizabeth celebrates her birthday which Dylan hosted and inspector Furst keeps telling her how it will be if the heirloom really does turn back time like it implies in the description Elizabeth can save her mother. Elizabeth doesn’t want to talk about that to him and Dylan helps her and tells inspector Furst to leave.
After the party, Elizabeth still keeps looking at the potion and Dylan comes in and she puts the potion in the draw and looks at Dylan. Dylan looks at the potion but doesn’t ask any questions.when Dylan and Elizabeth are going to rest, Dylan says he will do whatever decision she takes. She realises that he has been hearing the conversation with the inspector. She tells him not to worry that she’s already happy and is not gonna use that. He still says whatever she does, he will come back to her.
Dylan says she might want to talk to her maternal family (Elizabeth’s uncle - mom’s brother) to know about her mother. She sends a letter to him but was rejected but still goes out to meet him. She finds him in the books store buying the book baroness Terran wrote about leschine family and Elizabeth. He refuses to talk at first but then gives up and talks to her . It was because he wanted to know about the real reason for Elizabeth’s mom ‘s death. Elizabeth found out that her mother was killed by Diana in investigation. But she tells him the her mom really died from being I’ll. She didn’t want him to worry.
It was revealed that Elizabeth’s mom was also a spiritsman but they hid it because people with ulterior motives can force her to marry her as the baron didn’t have enough power to fight them. And people cursed by the demons can cure their curses by marrying spiritsman.
Elizabeth’s mom was forced to marry Ferdinand because the predecessor duke blocked all marriage proposals to Pirena. Elisabeth is shocked and won't accept it and rushes to the leschine mansion in the horse and finds their corpse. Elisabeth doesn’t want to accept that her family dies leaving her alone and finds the potion in her hand. She thinks if she drinks it she can go back in time and save them. But suddenly the black liquid in the vial turns into white smoke. The inspector Addis from behind but Elizabeth turns back to look at him (or her). She used the water power to purify the liquid. Socage finds the truck and the inspector reveals that himself as the black magician. Elizabeth realises that he is a demon and they contact with people but giving that black liquid (blood?).
The black magician was happy when Ferdinand face poison to kill Elisabeth. He tells the truth that her soul was his but she couldn’t take it as she was a spiritsman’s daughter. And the truth about the deal between the predecessor duke and him to give the souls of his descendants for the downfall of leschine. Elisabeth is shocked. He only found that he can’t take her after she dies so he brought her back and tried to give her the liquid which means she made a direct deal with her abs her soul will become his. And if she gives her soul he will save her family. Elizabeth decided to take the potion as it will be better that they love them her living alone And tried to drink it.
But aceperas who was gone came back and told her something. And Elizabeth isn’t scared anyone And purifies The blood. She uses the water to purify her surrounding and the wall crumbles and they are still in cabezo mansion. It was all a illusion and the leschine are not dead. A lot of spirits come and hold down demon Furst aceperas brings the Olga’s heart (which was the heart of the person to defeat Furst and lock him up) Olga says he will destroy him and destroys the demon and disappears.
The spirits tell Elizabeth the truth about her mom that she made a contract with the spirits to protect Elizabeth in her absence. Pyrena knew the deal between the predecessor duke and the demon while she was managing the household on behalf of the incompetent Ferdinand. But as per the contract pyrena has to die. But she can’t kill herself. So she had to wait until death or being murdered. That’s why even when she knew Diana used by the demon is giving her poison she drank it.
Elisabeth is astonished and cried for what her mother had gone through. The spirits tell her that her mother is going to become a spirit and now she is working hard for that. It will be in nearly 10,000 years. The spirits ask Elisabeth too to become a spirit after she dies and if she wants she can become a spirit in 5,000 years and it will go by in a blink of an eye. Elizabeth smiles and the spirits are done as the door opens.
Elisabeth sees Victoire, Damon and Dylan coming in and rushes towards them and hugs them and happy that her family is still there.
End of 1st Side story This side story is one year before Elisabeth debuting in the society. Baroness Terran Conan the leschin men to send Aligarh to her territory in the north to learn etiquette. Elisabeth goes there with Dylan and Marilyn. They were worried about Elisabeth catching a cold but the house is warm and grass growing. The baroness hosts a banquet for Elisabeth and Dylan attend with her. Everyone praised Elizabeth.
When Isabelle calls for Elisabeth from a distance, everyone queries what commotion is she gonna cause. It was half anticipation and half worry. But when Isabelle acts like a gentle sheep with Elisabeth everyone is shocked. Even the famous nosy gossip lady praised Elisabeth of her maturity. Dylan Swoops in forcibly and actors the dance invitation and drags the guy for a dance (LOL). He dances (?) with The guy for full 3 subs and the guys runs away. Dylan and Elisabeth talk in the empty room about the dance and they dance alone in the room and Elisabeth thinks everything when doing with him is easy.
