Wait so I just wanted to summarize everything I've read in this thread, and make sure that I'm understanding everything correctly.
MC opens up a nice little restaurant after being exiled by her grandfather, who is actually caring, and just wanted MC to be safe. He abused her growing up because he was afraid she would hurt herself and those around her with her power?Childhood friend boy who assaulted MC realizes that he messed up and become really pouty? (***Could someone explain a little more thoroughly what happens to make this guy realize that MC might have been innocent?)Evil bitch gets her just deserts, but we're supposed to feel bad for her because it's not actually fully her fault. She was being manipulated by a corrupt fairy. She was originally a saint, but due to the fairy's influence, she committed a slew of horrible deeds. The crown prince was actually one of her childhood friends? They were each other's first loves, and were almost engaged. Unfortunately, due to an incident, the CP asked for MC's memories of him to be sealed away? (***Why did he want her memories sealed?)Separate question:
What ended up happening with the younger prince? Did he ever feel guilty for his actions?
Please correct me if I misunderstood anything.

Real talk, if I was the father, even if it was my own father (glad mine isn't like this), as soon as I'd hear the douche say "if I wake up and you aren't out of the house" I'd Arthas his ass with a "guess we'll make sure you never wake up again, old fool"

Is the first prince or Shin the ML?

Spoilers from the newest chapters

Shin finally talks to Taki, Chiyo, and Lana about his previous live memories returned.

It's confirmed that Shin and Lana lives 3 different lives together, while Taki lives 2 lives with them. In simple time table, it's like this

Artemi (current world) > Japan > current world
• Jin > Hitoshi > Shin
• Laila/Lyra > Hano (Hana?) > Lana
•Takis > - > Taki

Also, Takis (Taki) is Jin's (shin) friend when they live in Artemi. Laila(Lana) is Jin's childhood friend. And Jin is a carpenter there.
Unfortunately, Lana doesn't remember her live as Laila.
And with this, i think it's pretty much confirmed ML is Shin because Lana thought that what if she and Hitoshi didn't died back then, then their relationship probably will change since she noticed Hitoshi likes her just like how she noticed Shin likes her in this live.

Thanks for summarizing everything. Now to answer your questions (and if I remember the spoilers here right)
2. Novel version made him find out the truth when his own father (despite not liking MC) did his own private investigation to all of MCs "crimes". It wasn't that hard to find actually since corrupted Sandra while talented in seduction and manipulating men (thanks to her stealing beauty) is apparently terrible at hiding her tracks. I mean, as someone here already said, even during MCs condemnation event, a few people wanted to step out but couldn't (since I assume it'd be like arguing with the current CP. Remember, 1st Prince doesn't have a good backing). Basically, Evans just fell in love at first sight to a pitiful crying maiden and went biased with her actions and not do a lick of investigation

4.I assume its the same excuse as her granpa, related to her powers going haywire (I mean, earlier spoilers mention granpa didn't have to go so far as to lead to MCs home banishment but he had to since both princes were incapable of protecting her, so better for her to become a commoner.

Honestly, while this has already been answered, it still bothers me that their was NO POINT for her granpa to be so strict

Dex updated the series just now and the childhood friend only looks more pathetic at every chapter. I COULD push my understanding/belief to an extent if he felt betrayed the first time his so called childhood friend wasn't someone he expected to be, but one noble lady came to him to testify for MC (and his flimsy evidence was an item that while only could be used by high ranking nobles is something that can be carried BY HAND and be used to frame her). He was lied to ONCE by the same woman who again at chapter one wasn't even hiding her nature as some gold digger. Why on earth did he try not to side with MC afterwards?

I think so? It doesn't seem to be complete? I was reading for the hope that Evan would try to grovel harder but just as quickly he assumes that MC is the bad guy - he just as quickly gives up asking for forgiveness. For another half point for webnovel Evans is that it seems he made himself scarce and isn't mentioned again after initially finding her back in her original looks visiting a longtime friend that helped her family exonerate her. Maybe it should be 1/8 point because his attempts are so desperate, pathetic, and half-assed.

Try reading the comments under here. There is a great person who summarized/translated chapter 8 where Sandra lets her family burn.
