They beat him to a pulp and then cut his head off, only to have him return to life a few seconds later, in the most classic Bleach way possible [he's dead,let's go, oh no he is not dead!] even more powerful, with a convenient power that saves him even though his head was cut off. More over, Kubo used the useless decapitation on lile as well, so it's even more lazy.

*sigh* Ichigo has not been relevant since I caught up to Bleach (which was many months ago)...
