so it makes sense that hes weak

Just once, just for once I'd hoped the series had maybe a little surprise or "twist" involved so that he had actually really have died.



But no obviously we can't have that now can we, every. single. sternritter just has to have a fight scene that drags out for a few months with the same predictable outcome.

The Miracle is a giant,Kubo does seem to be going for a fairy tale feel, the Miracle is a giant and he is blowing them down like they are three little pigs houses.



He took down Byakuria, Renji, Rukia, Shinji, and Momo in one shot. I am glad that Shinji has learned lesson about blabbing his abilities I hope, though Hinamori is so naive, how did she get to the rank of Lt., if she is naive enough to show mercy to an enemy. You get your self killed that way.



Sounds like this battle is going to last about 10 chapters, where is Ichigo, it seems this would be the time for him to show up. What other heavy hitters am I forgetting about, Kenpaji is still recovery, Aizen is still tied up, maybe Urahara, other than that Ichigo is the only person I can think of that could show up to turn this fight around.

Please tell me they just beat him off screen like the last stupid giant foe.

So basically his power is to get his ass beat and then become a bigger target.

People calling this an asspull are idiots, seriously.



So far all the Elites had something "Godly" about them(and of course they would be considering they go their powers from literal son of god, who is also named after the hebrew god and wants to usurp the throne of god for himself). Be it the hand of the soul king or an angel. IT only makes sense that the one designed like a viking would have somethng to do with norse mythology - a huge part of which is various races of giants.

And of course it would be broken as hell - ALL elites so far are ridiculously powerful beings(that's why these elite fights so far were some of the BEST things Bleach has done since the first appearance of Menos Grande).

Its not an asspull if its right in line with the set up.



Other than that, pretty much standard set up chapter.

And it did actually, notice how Gerard has a Norse Theme going on - Valkyrie and Giants.

I'm expecting his vollstandig to be another nod to that theme like Loki, Sleipnir or something to do with Ragnarok.
