Just once, just for once I'd hoped the series had maybe a little surprise or "twist" involved so that he had actually really have died.

But no obviously we can't have that now can we, every. single. sternritter just has to have a fight scene that drags out for a few months with the same predictable outcome.

he is an elite sternritter he's like a vasto lorde he has to have his own fight where he shows his powers.

People calling this an asspull are idiots, seriously.

So far all the Elites had something "Godly" about them(and of course they would be considering they go their powers from literal son of god, who is also named after the hebrew god and wants to usurp the throne of god for himself). Be it the hand of the soul king or an angel. IT only makes sense that the one designed like a viking would have somethng to do with norse mythology - a huge part of which is various races of giants.

And of course it would be broken as hell - ALL elites so far are ridiculously powerful beings(that's why these elite fights so far were some of the BEST things Bleach has done since the first appearance of Menos Grande).

Its not an asspull if its right in line with the set up.

Other than that, pretty much standard set up chapter.

No prob with that. Absolutely aggree with the fact that it is in accordance with their hax abilities shown so far--still less than "V". In fact I thoroughly enjoyed the previous two fights except the way they both ended. My problem with this one

is how boring M is comparatively to the rest. I expected something good with the word Miracle. Why is he not T for titan?

And I completely disaggree with the notion that Kubo gets a pass "cuz religion symbolisms".

1-He's just borrowing from famous pieces of literature. He's not reiterating, he is not cultivating it , he is just taking it to get a pass. If I made a manga and my main bad guy was named LiveD would that make me awesome cuz I referenced the Devil??

2- It's NOT symbolism. It's not some kind of metaphor. It's a referance, completely different. It doesn't make the characters any more substantial. It does not add layers. Does the whole three-times forgiveness act make Lille in any way as deep/philoshophical as the character Buddha? No, he just referenced him.

I am glad that Shinji has learned lesson about blabbing his abilities

Yet he still wasn't able to do a jack shit. Man, he looks even worse than Renji now. Did he beat anyone in the entire series?

Grimmjow wihout his resurrection after his fight against Ichigo

I was so hopeful that dude was dead after Bayakuya shredded his head to pieces, and then his body. Their talk right after about not wasting time and giving him a chance was genius. But FFS, they ruined it with this dumb power. Just let him be dead and move on to Ichigo and gang.

See all those panel time Momo got? Foreshadowing the fact she's gonna defeat Gerard.

The horror.....I can only honestly see it happening, but you know what? "M" feels so boring that Momo taking him out would make for best case scenario as a great laugh
