Also, if Renji never knew his sword's true name, what was he releasing all this time?

Is a 5 chapter (in all honestly it's only been 4 because the vast majority of 559 was about Jugram talking to Shunsui, who I hope was actually Aizen using Kyoka Suigetsu, and executing BG9 and Cang Du)fight really the worst thing in the world? All of these fights this arc have been about this long. I honestly felt like the Bazz B fight dragged on much longer considering he could have heat curb stomped Toshiro in the first chapter of the fight and moved on.

Finally that annoying wannabe is dead. Renji's new Bankai is pretty nice.

Oh well, chapter was decent, FINALLY we got over at least one guy. Too bad the captains got owned lol. Renji looks quite good, at least better than before.

Renji's new bankai is more convenient and flexible since he now can move faster in battle. I want to believe that Renji is the only case of someone who didn't know the real name, that makes the whole deal more special.



So Mask is burned and sliced, finally. I will admit he was a funny and over the top character, wrestler-theme and all that. But the fact that he was so overpowered for such a silly unimportant guy, was annoying.



Now we need some treatment on the wounded captains and vice-captains. Maybe we'll see Rukia fight next.

The new bankai looks cool. Since Zabimaru is a monkey + snake I have always been wondering where is the monkey. Renji knowing only half the name make sense though.

If he learned bankai the "normal way", then he could not go to royal place. He could finally surpass Byakuya.

Fun fact for your guy: january 14 is Rukia Kuchiki birdday and in january 15, Johnnie Mae Young, a pioneering female wrestler and World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame have die at the of 90

It actually makes sense, because his bankai has always been highly unstable throughout the series. Anyway, seeing Renji kicking ass after 600+ chapters feels awkward.
