yeah, I think I'm looking forward to what Ichigo had... Renji looked really awesome. Did his hair become longer in Bankai form or it was already long... I like his quirky face also. XD

Remember Zabimarou's character? A monkey with a snake tail with a "split personality disorder". The monkey was perfectly loyal, the snake would belittle and insult Renji all the time. I know it doesn't sound like much of an excuse for this powerup but I'm a sucker for these little subtleties and in the context of Bleach I think it woks for the best. Hope Kubo will keep this up and won't push Renji away from the spotlight yet again.

honestly i think it was necessary cause renji's original bankai is just dumb.

its even worse then komamura's bankai. big weapons like that don't have shit for speed, and power doesn't mean anything if you can't hit your target.

Dangai Joue was extremely fast though? Also Komamura came from the Animal Realm to the seireitei in just few panels, he even stated how he had a body that's able to react to and outrun explosions. Renji isn't immortal like Komamura but his speed feat was slicing up james casually while "fighting" against Mask, I don't think they  need their Bankai to be that fast anymore.

yes Dangai Joue is pretty fast but Tengen Myo was slow as hell. even though his new bankai is alot faster its still not as fast as someone with a normal sized bankai.



also renji was only using his shikai when he cut up james.

renji is plenty fast with shikai but his bankai slows him down quite a bit.

but this new bankai of his is just awesome, it has speed and power.



Renji is now captain level or higher and its about time cause renji is an awesome character

I hope this finally the last time we saw Superstar...

On the other hand fact that Renji had incomplete bankai was quite interesting.
