If he learned bankai the "normal way", then he could not go to royal place. He could finally surpass Byakuya.

Fun fact for your guy: january 14 is Rukia Kuchiki birdday and in january 15, Johnnie Mae Young, a pioneering female wrestler and World Wrestling Entertainment Hall of Fame have die at the of 90

It actually makes sense, because his bankai has always been highly unstable throughout the series. Anyway, seeing Renji kicking ass after 600+ chapters feels awkward.

Wait...I thought you still need approval from your Zanpakutou before you can release its true form. It sounds like Renji just forced out Zabimaru's "true" form.

Also it was a nice revelation that everything that's been named in Soul Society was from the "Manako Oshou".



Renji's Bankai looked pretty neat and it seems to have enhanced his already aggressive/offensive fighting style, and his hand has fused with it too.  That superstar really overstayed his welcome, he wont be missed.
