Bleach Chapter 564 Discussion

all bleach fights are like this...every chapter nothing happens except one guy lands one big move, then in the next chapter the other guys lands a big move, and then that goes on and on until someone wins. its almost like these fights are turn based...i really might drop bleach temporarily until bach or aizen show up

Remember Zabimarou's character? A monkey with a snake tail with a "split personality disorder". The monkey was perfectly loyal, the snake would belittle and insult Renji all the time. I know it doesn't sound like much of an excuse for this powerup but I'm a sucker for these little subtleties and in the context of Bleach I think it woks for the best. Hope Kubo will keep this up and won't push Renji away from the spotlight yet again.

honestly i think it was necessary cause renji's original bankai is just dumb.

its even worse then komamura's bankai. big weapons like that don't have shit for speed, and power doesn't mean anything if you can't hit your target.

Dangai Joue was extremely fast though? Also Komamura came from the Animal Realm to the seireitei in just few panels, he even stated how he had a body that's able to react to and outrun explosions. Renji isn't immortal like Komamura but his speed feat was slicing up james casually while "fighting" against Mask, I don't think they  need their Bankai to be that fast anymore.



But the most important part of the chapter to me were all those abilities Renji gained from that.

I swear... If Ichigo doesn't have atleast 5 different abilities now.. holy shit, Kubo.

At last that Superstar guy is finished.



Also nice new Bankai Renji got.

Ok Renji's a badass with a badass and USEFUL Bankai so now I will leave Bleach forever. No more facepalming for me! :)

i was thinking the same thing, why did we need to wait so long for a lowly quincy to die already, besides he was plain boring and not a major opponent :(

Loved Renji's new bankai, Renji's bankai was too OP. This was a pretty good chapter, Renji had a great showing.

Remember how Yumichika purposely said his Zanpakuto's name incorrectly as to not reveal it's true nature to his comrades. Well same thing for Renji except he didn't really know his bankai's full name. So when the name is said incorrectly, the best way to put it would be that it is an incomplete or messed up version of it's true form.



As for this chapter hopefully this is the end of this fight with Renji's awesome new bankai.



Not only that, remember the way he learned his bankai? He used Urahara's cheating way like Ichigo did. Add to that Yumichika's situation, who is to say if the zanpaktou is telling the truth or not.



If Renji had learned bankai the supposed normal way, who knows what would have happened.
