I know ishin is his dad, but maybe zangetsu quincy lord is his granddad XD

I was super confused reading this chapter, I had to read it twice and then go back a few chapters to finally realize it was Akon.

Nice to know Byakuya's not dead yet, I reaaallllyyy hope Unohana will magically descend from the sky and heal him.

So. Many. Deaths!

I thought Byakuya was dead, so was happy to see him...and then he went and announced that he was going to die. What the hell is the 4th division doing?



Nothing progressed in this chapter (apart from making Byakuya's death even more pathetic and humiliating), but at least there was some good art.

We better get some action next chapter.

I support this one, though I think that all this dirt and blood is mainly a result of his fight with Kirge. I don't understand why people immediately assumed that he is in for a powerup. He already had one last arc.I think he is good enough to compare to Yamaji.

All I know is Ichigo would kick Natsu's ass and use his face to shine his windows.



Also, Fairy Tail is just as cliche as 'Bleach' is.  Only good characters are Laxus, Jellal, Ultear, Wendy, Mirajane family, Raijinshuu and a few elders imo (here's an opinion).  The 'main cast' are recycled/rip-offs, repetitive and cheap fanservice (Natsu, Gray, Erza, Lucy), here's another opinion.



Though at the end of the day, I still really like and enjoy both for different reasons, flaws and all.  Mashima is definitely the harder working and better paced Mangaka (ESPECIALLY with RAVE) and Kubo should definitely take notes but I think Kubo still deserves credit for the universe and characters he created, even if he's not as passionate about them as he once was (which could be entirely untrue).  



Opinions will be opinions.  I think Bleach is doing perfectly fine with this build up chapter.  Though I wish it would be longer, I already accepted the fact of Kubo's pacing YEARS ago, why don't people move on with the times?  I like epic entrances like this one and I'm sure millions of other people do as well.  Also, the fact that Byakuya had a few breaths left was a 'big deal' to many people, myself included.



All in all, I see no point of all this and hope for a day we can see solely Bleach in the Bleach discussions, Fairy Tail in the Fairy Tail discussions (which are always fun and interesting thanks to some of you guys efforts), One Piece in the OP discussions and etc.

So Byakuya had some life left in him.  Though after those tears and speech to Ichigo, it looks like he'll soon be asleep.



The art was superb, it was pure emotion being shaded this week and it reflected what Soul Society and Ichigo are going through perfectly.



Bach wanted to retreat but was cut off by a silent raging Ichigo...  Let's see what happens next week.



Also, am I seeing things or is the chain on Zangetsu starting to wrap around Ichigo's arm in that last panel?

The art work is great no doubt...but man, I finished that chapter in about half a minute.

Nice art, but still Ichigo wont be as cool-looking as he was in battle against Aizen. imho
