And so is Riruka trying to absorb Rukia's power? The last page is kinda unclear.

Yeah, it's not so definite as to what happened at the last page. That R means reiatsu, right? So, I guess Riruka is absorbing Rukia's reiatsu. I'm not sure.

Solid flashback chapter. Plus the fact that he got everyone in in ONE CHAPTER - pretty sweet. This actually made me like the Fullbringers more, because up to this point we didn't know anything about them, and now they really come across as human, and by that I mean flawed beings with a different outlook than the shinigami.

Bring on the next one!!!

More human?  1 of them killed his wife for no good reason.

Yes. Thats exactly why they are more human tahn all other bleach characters. THEY ALL misused their power with their personal flaws.

What?! And how does that make him more human?! He killed his wife in cold blood!! Are you implying that murder is a humane act?!

I hope you're kidding.

snap out of your imaginary world, that perfectly describes a good portion of human nature

how can you be so ignorant to what being a human means? the definition of being human (Humane) was displayed enough at least during 2 world wars + the constant rape/murder reports on TV

THAT IS ALSO PART OF HUMAN NATURE! Like it or not, IT IS part of what defines humans.

Where is everyone getting this 'fullbringers want revenge on SS' from? They never once said that. Ginjou's speech was more about how they were being shunned by the rest of the world and they should ban together to become stronger. We still don't know why they wanted ichigo's power. In fact the only reason they're fighting SS right now is because the soul reapers came to take them out. :/

God do you even READ what you quote?

I did not side with FBs, I stated that both sides are equally "gray".

And unless you have more arguments than "NO U!" please stop responding to my posts, ty.

I just love how FB ideals are the direct opposite of SS ideals.

SS is traditional feudal japan society where only strength and nobility means something and if you are not strong enough you perish. Shinigami live like gods and act like gods, reigning with their strength over the week, separating themselves from the weak.

FBs completely disapprove of such logic and imply that strength is banding together and that individual strength means nothing without the teamwork and understanding o oneself.

This chapter really made me like FUllbringers again.

What she saying is that the "only the strong survive" philosophy is bullshit said by the arrogant, and all beings are nothing but scraps of meat on equal ground. ANd the strength of separate meatbag means nothing. Only when every individual works together they are strong.

EDIT: Also with such a buildup I smell GInjou dropping a giant bomb of info about something bad and fishy about SS. GInjou's speech in the flashback feels like he went through firsthand on the SS methods.

More like just a naive little 7 year old girl. In the end she knew she was wrong so she let him go. Could you imagine if 7 year old's in real life had friggin SUPER POWERS? Chaos and destruction would run a muck. Not because little kids are psychos but because there are immature and don't think about the consequences of their actions like adults do.

Except she's not a little 7 year old girl, she's a desperate, deranged, selfish little brat.  Just because you see her as a 7 year old doesn't make it so.

Because Ginjou has power? He is previous substitute shinigami who has FB powers who now has Ichigo's reiatsu and powers.

Well, it helps that Ichigo is constantly spazzing out about everything.  Ichigo allowed himself to be provoked by him and didn't listen to Uryu, then he charged with his typical Getsuga Tenshou without a plan again.

Fai said:
Sympathize? NO.

Emphatize? Yes.

In essence, SS is just as bad as FBs, the difference is that FBs realize completely on that what they are doing is nothing that good or "noble"

The Fullbringers don't realize that, there's no sense of remorse for their actions that they try to justify.  The Fullbringers are complete hypocrites, that act as if they're better than the Shinigamis when they're not.  Neither of them are noble or good, but that still doesn't justify their actions.

Fai said:
Its obvious that there's more to it. We do not know badge's purpose, when that one captain from SS started to go into Ginjou's past, he as INTENTIONALLY interrupted by another one, as to not reveal to Ichigo stuff.

Its quite clear that we till don't see the whole picture.

Kubo needed an excuse to get Ichigo's powers back because that's the only way for the story to progress and to get him involved with the storylines.

Fai said:
Still planning something. They most likely know stuff readers still don't about this whole mess. They made sure to not be around this whole thing and most likely are bidding their time for whatever they expect to happen.

Inoue and CHad also were taken out of fight by them before they even showed their powerups., meaning kubo has other intentions for them to use their powers against.

They're probably still dealing with Chad/Orihime and possible the other human characters or wherever they've been shoved aside.

Fai said:
They are not exactly "evil". The system is. A lot of people in the ranks are genuinely nice people(ala Rukia) its just that the laws, honor, order and code they live by is incredibly flawed.

The system isn't evil, it's unjust which is why it's flawed.

Fai said:
Yamaji is the typical conservative military leader. Nothing wrong with that.  He genuinely believes in those ideals he upholds and thats nice but does not change the fact that the ideals themselves are flawed.

He does what he has to do to keep the order of the Soul Society no matter how flawed or unfair it may be, otherwise, it would be chaotic.

Fai said:
Those who band together are predators. :) Thats the point Riruka makes.

SS are predators. Fbs are predators.

What makes one "predator" is his collective ability to work towards goals by using the collective power.

No, she's talking about strength in numbers and how the predators have more members in their group than the prey, which doesn't make sense.  Some animal predators attack other large herds of animals.

Because no one can change ANYTHING alone. This was implied in bleach since begining.

Fai said:
Tousen went against system. Lost. Fell.

No, he foolishly joined up with Aizen because of his flawed logic of justice and how it would be the 'least bloody path' and he faced the consequences of that when he turned into a hollow bug.

Fai said:
Aizen went against Soul King. Eventually fell from his goal through pure isolation.

Actually Aizen lost because he was weakened by Urahara's seal and Ichigo's FGT.  He's immortal and completely overpowered with the Hogyoku (sp?).  We still don't know much about the Soul King except that he somehow keeps the Soul Society balanced.

Fai said:
Riruka obviously has an inferiority complex in certain sense. But her anger at Rukia is understandable, since rukia's answer to her monologue was basically "TL;DR, trololol".

Every FB knows all to well how the whole arrogance, isolation, etc works. And they accept it as a fact.

Rukia was just doing her job, as arrogant as how Riruka sees it, she's not in any position to lecture anyone on arrogance, especially a spoiled, whiny, selfish brat such as herself.

Of course the Fullbringers know those things, they chose to be in those situations.

Fai said:
And I agree. The difference however is that FBers realize that. SS hypocritically sugarcoats their reason with honor, justice, protection and all that sweet crap. Thats why Riruka is angry.

Except the Fullbringers don't realize that, they haven't been shown to take any responsibility for their own actions, they shouldn't be in any position to judge Shinigamis just because they disagree, that's what makes the Fullbringers hypocrites.

Fai said:
I can already see the room dropping happening.

Byakuya is alive and Tsuki seems down.

Rukia is alive and riruka is nowhere to be seen.

Both JAckie and Renji are Alive.(cue flashback on what actually happened in that explosion)

Kenpachi seems to have won.

Ichigo just seems to be completely shocked by whatever Ginjou told him.

Then as chapter ending cliffhanger,  Giriko reforms through time powers, Byakuya reveals he is friended by attacking SS members,Tsuki gets up and "Rukia" reveals that she is Riruka.

I can totally see that happening.

I hope not, the last thing we need is this nonsense to drag out longer than it needs to.

Apparently, you haven't read what I quoted, seeing as how you're totally misquoting my reply.

You have sided with the Fullbringers, you're constantly blaming Shinigamis that have nothing at all to do with the Fullbringers' personal problems.

You can choose to reply to whoever you want to and I can choose to reply to anyone I want to, thank you.

You're just as guilty in the "NO U !" arguments since you're doing it right now.

Their past was not really that interesting... and I dont really understand why Riruka freed Rukia from the doll and what was that attack at the end... well at least it looks like next week will be interesting as we go back to Byakuya
