Didn't expect a Chrollo and Hisoka fight. It's awesome !! :D

When I saw that page of Hisoka and Chrollo standing there, I screamed. I did not think I would have that kind of reaction. Love both these character, so really looking forward to how this fight will go.

Anyway, the chapter was fantastic, I personally prefer it the way Togashi did it. If he explains it after a few chapters or if he ever does, kewl. If he doesn't, we've had enough hints already so I'm not really complaining about Chrollo coming back. But a small 2-3 chapters of flashback of how it all happened would be much appreciated, it's still cool though.



If it was any other Manga, the name Death Battle wouldn't scare me.... But Togashi and HxH.... My kokoro is not ready ;-; but let's hope for the best!

Is this a late April Fool's joke by Togashi? Even after reading I can't help but think that this is some kind of wet dream Hisoka's having.  I mean, heaven's arena is not the place I'd first think of for a battle between them. Then, when did Chrollo become a floor master? Why does he show his face like nobody's business when he faked his death? I thought he was not the type of person who likes to get attention, anyway. Is it me or Chrollo's face looks like it was drawn by another person?

Despite that... I was orgasming through the whole chapter. I've been following this series since 2003 so I've been waiting for more than 10 years for this battle to finally happen. It is weird that there is no previous build up, though.



The nen removal thing is not that out of the blue, though. I'm assuming that the nen exorcist from Greed Island wasn't able to remove Kurapika's nen (else there would be a grotesque creature following him around) so probably Hina erased his nen during the events of the Election arc. Remember that Hina and other chimera ants went to Meteor City after the king died. It's not so crazy to think that she met the spiders and then met with Chrollo.



What left me perplexed are the new skills... So can he borrow abilities now? I don't think he'd just steal Shalnark's ability forever. Also, that sun & moon thing reminds me of that crazy alchemist that blew up everything with the seals in his hands.

Oh, and those new tweaks for his ability are pretty cool. I'd been wondering how would Chrollo fight holding his book when certain abilities may be cumbersome. I wonder what new restrictions apply to keep his ability from being broken.

Please Togashi keep up the pace, can't wait to see this animated XD

This was certainly a surprise for me, did not expect Togashi to throw this fight in between all this worldbuilding.



I am also a bit surprised that we skipped a lot of Chrollo's journey to get his Nen back and how he became a floor master, but Togashi often advances stories offpanel (like he did with Kurapica). A bit more of an explanation in the following weeks would be nice, though.

Best part is that there is no chapter next week as it's the Golden Week. Have to wait even more to see wth is going on.
