Mhm ... about 2 FUCKING years ago, i do understand he wants to wrap up the loose ends and start with the new arc, but still this came out of the blue and he has made chrollo kind of OP atm, further explanation and weaknesses HAVE to be introduced because it wouldn't be the same pacing Togashi has had previously.
In-universe, probably less than two years.
Real-time? Over ten, to be sure. Thing is though, if we're to treat manga as continuous pieces of art that is meant to be consumed at any point in time, then we can't hold it against the manga for relying on its readers to clearly recall certain events. It's a similar situation to Berserk, and how people are constantly complaining about its pacing; in actuality, it's not much different than its ever been, though the wait in between releases creates this false perception otherwise.
