What the hell happened the noses?!
It looks godawful :(
The first image is literally his first appearance in the manga. Togashi almost never completely adheres to his introductory designs in terms of character appearance. I mean, look at Hisoka and some of the other Ryodan's introductions - they look really goofy.

Majority of Killua inner monologue was really unnecessary, and that took up more than half the chapter.
Do you mean Kurapika?

Really this is one of the main problem I had with hxh 2011 anime. Specifically in the chimera ant arc, where the narrator was there to explain every tiny details to the audience, it's very annoying, I would rather he show than tell, this is a visual medium for christ sake! That shit is only necessary in novels. Like seriously the audience is not dumb.
Except everything expository in nature last chapter was being spoken either through Kurapika or Oito. I don't necessarily disagree that the narration was overbearing last arc, but that was pretty different than what we got last chapter. I also don't think text-heavy chapters detracts from the visual nature of manga; there isn't some perfect ratio of image to text that manga should aspire to - at least in my opinion. I mostly come to HxH for the writing, and personally find the text-heavy stuff to be very gratifying. I would totally read a Togashi-written novel.
