Sakuragi making that shot was pure perfection, goosebumps all over my body just from reading that. I'm sad that this is the end, but I'm glad that I've read this masterpiece of a manga. 10/10

It was an amazing Anime and Manga series it just kept me want to know what will follow and what will happen and the last game just caught my breaths,



it was really exciting..the romance between Sakoragi and Harokou in the last chapter could have been better with just a little hint of love from Harokou to him,



and I wished that the manga will extend to the re-match with the Kinenn so they can get their revenge and win with the second or the third position in the Inter-High games..



other than that I think SLAM DUNK is the best sport Anime/Manga ever !

How come mitsui kept on playing while Akagi and kogure retired they were all 3rd years right?

Just finished it. Jesus Christ the final game was absolutely epic. You could really see that they had to pull out all the stops.



Loved the manga and the anime was good too, absolutely wild and amazing.

I thought it would be better if you read the manga from the beginning even after you watch the anime. And yes, if Shohoku play Sannoh again, I would think Sannoh will come off top this time, at the very least they won't field the Year One player for the sake of accumulating experience. That's why the last game is such a beauty. 6 Vols to illustrate that match including 5 Vols dedicated just for the 2nd half.

this was a great read.

So much emotion, one of the best manga as well as sports manga I ever witnessed. Every character was well-developed, meet each other and played together to become a close-knit team, full of youthful enthusiasm. The last game with Sannoh was so intense, I have never once in my life howled, worried, nervous, then filled with joy when a basketball team won in a manga. Quite sad for Sakuragi is not able to play for a period of time but I'm glad Shohoku finally achieve their dream



9.5/10 if only the ending were more expanded and complete (I feel like 1 chapter for the ending is too rushed, even with the "10 days after" one-shot), And yes this is better than Vagabond, imo

The final was amazing even I think it would be better if the manga continue after that last game. Most of the chapters were exciting and hilarious, this manga is truly awesome.

And yes, Sakuragi is a tensai. (:

i watch the anime on tv when i was a kid and i though it ends after they beat ryonan, so im not really eager to read this manga.

As a fan of Takehiko Inoue, Slam Dunk and Vagabond are truly masterpieces. As someone who was skeptical of reading a sports manga, I ended up thoroughly enjoying this manga. Loved Sakuragi, the tensai and the rest of the team. The final game was a tribute to the true strength that shohoku possessed. Overall, one of the best sports mangas I read.
