Ooooh i get it now, i've been watching Slam Dunk again and i finally understand why akagi and the others are retiring, well except for uozumi who promised his father he'd take over his job once he's 18, akagi and kogure are retiring in order to study for college while ikegami's reason to retire remains unknown.

whether they have the title or not they are still the national champs to beat that Sannoh that would of easily taken 1st again



that last match holy fuck was that intense easily the best team based sports match i've ever seen



great comedy, great characters and great matches all you want from an amazing manga

best way to end a series. too bad there's no continuation for this masterpiece.

just perfect, it's a shame the manga reach the end...i love it and the anime too.

and the 10 days after the final is great.

The fact that they lost terribly after winning against the best team is really unfortunate, with the way things ended especially being a sport manga this could have continued on longer, It took sometime for me to get used to reading this but I enjoyed it and glad i read it, until next time!!!

One of the best manga I ever read. wow this is one of the most beautiful stories. nothing else to say. simply fantastic!!!!!

Picking up the manga after the anime was the best decision i've ever made, the rollercoaster of emotions this put me through.... not okay.

I will forever love Rukawa and Sakuragi's rivalry friendship, I enjoyed reading every chapter of this I'm sad that it ended so quickly but I guess it's not that bad.

I lied... I want moreee, I feel a bit incomplete YK😭😭

Despite its flaws, I came to really love this manga. No manga has made me feel more intense than Slam Dunk. The art is amazing and the sequences of the basketball matches are well executed. I wished the mangaka continued the manga for another few volumes or so but I'm satisfied with the ending.
