But I find it... somewhat paradoxical (I apologize if this was the wrong term) since without man, society cannot exist. Therefore, that is to say, man is still the source of corruption.

Yes it would be interesting if Nishi was not demented in the beginning and that would really kick up the interest on what turned him into what he is.
