Fairy Tail Chapter 545 Discussion

Are we sure there isn't going to be some sort of epilogue chapter? I can't see this being the true ending especially since Natsu and Lucy were built up so much. If not, maybe we will get lucky with the anime finale and it will be expanded upon then.

I know A LOT of people would not want this, but I feel like Mashima's new work might continue into the Fairy Tail world. There are loose ends that weren't tied up (Aquarius's key probably being the biggest one), and it could be addressed in his new work. It could be a timeskip, like how Naruto did Boruto.



Honestly, I mostly just want this cause I want to see concrete Nalu. I stopped really caring about the plot a once Natsu woke up from his coma and said he wasn't END anymore because he chose to be human. If there was one thing Mashima was good at though, it was making me care about the characters. So after all those Natsu and Lucy teases and the trolling, we get THAT?! I'll admit I was angry and severely disappointed.



But nonetheless, despite my gripes and the admittedly lackluster writing, it did what I want a story to do. Make me care about the characters and what will happen to them. It was a great ride and I'm genuinely looking forward to Mashima's next work, whatever it may be, Fairy Tail universe or not.

Finally it's ended and that is the best what happened in this manga at this point. Wanted to say so much (bad) stuff, but whatever, i'll just say that this is the first manga that made me hate some chapters and mb characters ... Started mb at 8 or 7, but i should give it a 5 in the end, still think that FT had really good moments a long time ago. It is a speculation that the new Hiro's work might be continuation/tied to FT world and well that's not a really good sign ...

Whoa, it's ended, but why MAL status still publishing?

I haven't been on this website for years. I barely watched/read anything in the past few years. But a friend told me about the ending, and I just couldn't resist. Enjoy the 4 year old assblasting:

I get where you're coming from. I hate shippers too, but Fairy Tail has been so bad for so long that the only thing I came to find enjoyment in the series was the relationship between its characters. That's why it's a 3 instead of a 1 for me.



For Mashima to not only deliver shit on a plate in terms of plot but also in terms of wrapping up character connections is basically spitting on all of us.

Overall 3/10. Had promise and some really good arcs but the last few chapters killed it for me.
