Well it's been a fun journey despite the final arc being very disappointing.

Even though the series had a lot of downs it also had it's ups and i'm grateful for these for all the years I spent reading Fairy Tail. Thank You Hiro Mashima.

Even if the manga went to shit and it could have been better, I liked the ending. It was the most Fairy Tail thing it could be, and even if the ships didn't officially sail, at least it was more or less decent compared with other endings.

I cannot believe this has ended after 6 years following the series. Thank God Mashima gave the series a closure before tainting the manga even more.

Now time to wait for the third season of the anime.

Honestly, I liked this chapter.

Yes, it doesn't make amends for the past garbage chapters, but it was a good final chapter.

I won't miss this manga, but thanks anyway, Mashima.

I bet we got this ending because the publisher forced Hiro to play it safe because of the Bleach and Naruto controversies. So this is the salty IchiRuki and NaruSaku shippers fault, the ones in Japan at least.

Congratulations everyone. We have survived the ending of 1 more of legendary shounen manga!

But seriously, this chapter was 100% as I expected. Author even pulled off Zeref and Mavis in the end...

Overall I enjoyed Fairy tail even if it was bad at sometimes. Fairy tail will be missed.

what loose ends do you have in mind?

even if there are loose ends its more of a let the fans/viewers/readers fill in the gap of the story tactic and its part of any story writingWell besides the obvious shipping stuff, a big one I've always wondered was Ankseram, as well as the other "gods." I believe one other god was introduced, but its crusty ass got waisted easily.

God slaying magic was introduced into the story, but all it was ever used for was to give the Dragon slayers a bit more of a challenge. Mashima didn't even bother to justify its existence. Really want to see what the significance of its black color (nod to Zeref but it's a nod and nothing more).

Fairy Heart was never really fleshed out, and ended up being useless besides being hyped up for 200 chapters. I want to know more about it.

Is Natsu completely human now? Are there any repercussions at all? Again, Mashima didn't bother with verifying the state of Natsu's being.

Aquarious' key. The English scans aren't out yet, but from the spoilers it looks like they're going on a 100 year quest and her key isn't mentioned? As far as I know right now it's still up in the air.

Urano Mentira mentions Tetrabiblos as ruler of the stars. Who is that? Is it the Spirit King? This is another being I really hoped Mashima would clarify or introduce, with the other being Ankseram.

There's probably more if I bother to keep remembering back far enough.

I was rereading the manga and maybe I forgot something but what did happened to Aquarius? D:

they really did leave it up in the air. So many questions no answers X_X

Finally over, huh. Honestly, I find it a little sad to see it endings, what with how long I've been following the series, but that's usually the case for all these long-running series.

We know that Levi and Gajeel is set in stone, which is great in book since I've always liked them and the chemistry between them. Poor Wendy, hearing all these spicy details of all the couples ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Also, spin-off harem manga of Laxus when? Lmao Looks like there's quite a few possible ships for him, but I've never thought that his relationship with any other female character was explored all that much or went into depth all that much.

It was also nice to see that Gray and Juvia were finally a thing, which is about god damn time. Took you long enough to accept her, Gray. Guess her persistence paid off in the end.

Was also nice to see Lucy's dream was finally fulfilled. Plus, their conversation, with her and Natsu, felt like it alluded to there being a chance for romance in the future.

Anyway, all in all, I'll miss FT a little... OR THAT'S WHAT I WOULD SAY, but we'll probably get some continuation of sorts in the near future.

6/10. Let's see how Mashima-sensei decides to continue the series.

1/10 overall. Hiro is sooooo much of a pussy that he could not even kill of Zeref and Mavis. What a wanker.  Well, at least Laxus can have a threesome or even a foursome between Mirajane, Lisanna and Cana. Pretty much all the ships got together at the end. They are going to finish that 100 year quest in like one week because Mashima is the assail KING after all. Anyways, I am grateful to Fairy Tail for actually introducing me to the anime world because it was my first anime that I watched over 200 episodes excluding Pokemon lol, and Dragon Ball doesn't count. BTW what happened to Aquarius? oh well.....that's it. FAIRY FAIL.

I never understood how people could see NaLu happening. This ship annoyed me the most because fans blew it out of proportions and there were very few hints in the romantic direction. So, I'm glad it didn't become canon. Although, maybe if there is a epilogue chapter or two eventually...

Anyways, at first I wanted to complain about people complaining about the couples but then I realised that this chapter was about nothing else. Very cowardly handled ships. As if Hiro was afraid of fans' attack if he made couples too obvious. Unfortunately, this just made things worse.

But at least all of my favourite couples became canon. Gruvia, Jerza and GaLe.

Okay I guess series lost its charm at the start of the Grand Magic Games for me..

5/10

Kinda upset that Gruvia didn't officially become canon still nice last moment involving them.
