Fairy Tail Chapter 545 Discussion

Finally this cringe fest is over, never again reading anything from Mashima despite what people say about his older stuff being much better.



Fuck this dude and his softcore censored hentai.

Mixed feelings, it had a nice vibe to it but some things were dissapointing. Look I'm not a huge shipper (ok maybe I am) but teasing Natsu and Lucy that much and then doing nothing was a bit dissapointing. Nevertheless Fairy Tail has ended.



3 years ago if someone asked me what I thought about Fairy Tail I would say it's one of my favorite shounens to date. Why? Look it's not that the story was something phenomenal or anything but I enjoyed the overall vibe it gave. I've always been a sucker for a fantasy world adventure story so this sat perfectly with me. It had a few fantastic arcs and I loved the characters to death. But slowly it's problems began to show.



After a few fights everyone started seeing something, it was that every main villian fight would have to do something with "NAKAMA" power, at first I didn't think much about it. But when Erza and Natsu suddenly couldn't win a single fight by themself it began to get hate. Slowly the storys direction went nuts and everything got so fkn predictable.



Teases like Acnologia,END,Zeref, the ships and so on all had dissapointing conclusions. So much promise but we got almost nothing. Heck i've read dozens of fanfics of Fairy Tail that were better than this last arc.



But even with all these problems Fairy Tail had a way to make me happy, the good old fairy tail that is. I will never forget this manga even though it turned trash, the music from the anime, the badass moments and so on. I will always love Fairy Tail but at the same time hate it because it had so much promise.



Rave Master was alot better so I hope Mashima can get a writer for him instead in his next series so that he can concentrate on the art, which is gorgeous!



6/10 being generous because this is a special manga to me personally

And so it end. It was good and bad at the same time but that can be said to every chapter of FT I guess. Also a shipping ending without the actual ship. Troll Mashima strikes again.

It's done in the end, i was following this shit since 2011 and for long time it was my fav anime\\manga although of course in the past 2-3 years gone downhill "thanks gods" because of the shitty plot and fights, i had a lot of memories with this series



it may had a lot of mistakes and triggerd me a lot but it was exprince none the less

I started reading this long ago when it was still good, but then it started turning kinda crappy. I was especially bothered by all of the unneccecary fanservice. I still kept reading though, as I was curious as to where mashima would take this. Overall, the series had some ups and many downs, and the ending was meh. Overall, I would give it a 5/10, would be a 6 if the fanservice hadn't been included

Pretty glad with this ending. Not one where everyone has kids and they're the same as the parents lol.



It was a fun journey. And one of the few things where I quite liked everyone in it. Yeah, it had the potential to be a lot better but I'm still happy to have come across it.

Good Ending and It's been a fun journey... Fairy Tail was the first series that got me hooked me into Anime/Manga Culture as a hobby so thanks a lot for these past 6 years, Mashima-sensei!



But tbh I would say It has really good and memorable story, but some last arcs kills me (especially this arc) that I probably will drop this series but lucky I didn't. Still, I'm looking forward to Mashima-sensei's new series in the future and hope It's as good as or better than Fairy Tail...
