Fairy Tail Chapter 506 Discussion

If only those who died in FT stayed dead this series would be worthy of a 10. Especially since it's full of impactful moments - Mavis witnessing the death of a life she once named; Erza stopping the fight between Gray and Natsu just like it has always been throughout the series since the first chapters... I don't know why does the author keep moving the series from something very stupid & impossible to something epic or tragic - if only he was consistent FT would have been a lot better

                        And the aftermath of Makarov's sacrifice. Glad to see Laxus again, really liked his scene with Mavis. Geez, how strong is Erza to stop Natsu and Gray like that while injured? XD

Did like anyone bother to mention the similarities to naruto in this chapter. I mean jeesus Christ. The guy can't come up with his own idea to save his ass

I feel sorry for Mavis, she had to witness Makarov's death. Erza took a heavy blow there, hope she can convince them to stop.

Honestly neither one is thinking straight.  Part of the reason I can't bring myself to care either way (though I think Erza showing up the way she did was wrong way to go about it).  Other reason being we all know nothing's gonna come from this so there's no point.

Natsu would pretty much be dead if it wasn't for Gray, considering if he did kill Zeref, Natsu dies.

Well, it's because she's Erza Happy said. She's ridiculously strong. And Mashima sucks at writing battle anyways. The only fight I enjoyed is Erza vs 100 monster (the anime version of course). The rest has the same pattern. Being overwhelmed and finishing the fight in one attack even if the oppenent is way stronger (Ex: Laxus vs Jora or Raven Tail, Natsu vs two stronger Dragon Slayers)



Lucy's fight are always more enjoyable because of the fanservice outfits variety and the use of comedy. Erza had only fanservice fighting outfit.

Zeref is harming people more than END does. END's purpose is to kill Zeref. Gray can kill him after that.



It's like saying "We must kill the criminal Kogame" while Kogame is the only one able to kill the final boss. What's more imporatant, killing an evil person or the root of evil? Anyways, if Gray killed Zeref Natsu would die. But the opposite isn't possible. So it's pointless to kill both of them since they can team up and kill Zeref and END die automaticly after that.

+1 for never being manipulated/corrupted. But Jellal dying is against the happy ending Mashima-sensei is planning to write. Jellal has somehow more plot armor than most of 10 saints (including Jora).

And that mission where Gray was forced to kill Natsu or the spell where he couldn't get out of it unless he kill Juvia it too forced.

To tell you the truth I'm into dark characters. I liked Izumi's dark side when he didn't care about the dead dog. But in Fairy Tail all characters have a dramatic side, if they didn't show it, they'll suck more & more (every member cried)

Can't say more. The only FT characters I like are Zeref (very sad past) & Acnologia (he doesn't give a fuck about the rest).
