That frostbite and burn on Erza hands will need some treatment. It just came to me but maybe its time for her to get new full body armour. Jack Rakan hand and legs armament comes to mind.

Base Gray can give Erza and Gajeel tiers a good high diff fight

Base Gray would demolish Lucy and Wendy or mid diff em individually.o

I was about to write a long post answering but I saw this bit and just gave up. Not feeling any point in arguing with gray fangirls.

This bit did make me break up in a laugh though. Good  joke, dude.

Next chapter, Erza's hair falls off, and she requips into a yellow jumpsuit with a white cape and red gloves and boots.

I think, Erza is potentially more powerful than Eileen, Eileen doesn't like that, that's why she left Erza in the first place/wants Erza dead.

And eventually it turns out that Erza is another Etherious like Natsu. Eileen/Irene went to Alvarez copy Zeref's demon creation and use it on Erza.

Yeah i know this makes no sense and can be called BS. But then again this is the type of BS Mashima might actually use.

Slightly sad that Makarov might actually be dead. Although I still have some doubts.

This fight is still dumb. Hopefully Erza can knock some sense into these two.

THIS END overrating is ridiculous. Where do people get that he's acnologia level and that Gray should stand no chance? LOL and how is END dragon level?

Acnologia fearing END is bullshit, and is an assumption made by characters. Feat wise, Acnologia shits on END. Btw, the fight with Dimaria was off-panel so we don't know END bypassed time travel, and the fact is Dimaria's time age seal hasn't done shit to top tiers.

Gray standing a chance against END is legit. He stomped Base Marde (the same fucker who was babyshaking LFD Natsu/Yaio Twins)  proving how slaying advantage is massive against characters above you, and should be logically a lot stronger now, so it makes sense why he's holding his own against END.

So yea we should all admit Gray fighting on par with END MAKES SENSE. Especially considering how many times Gray has fought the fucker and knows his habits.

All you're fanboying on END's fanboy hype too hard here.

What I don't get is:

Cheria stomps Dimaria: Totally legit because God Slayer

Gray matches (not even beats, matches) E.N.D.: Complete asspull

Like...what?

Godslayers have proper hype and we saw them be strong and Dimaria is a nobody spriggan fodder whoa ll have been disappointing. And people did complain about that fight too.

Proper hype like Zancrow, who lost to Natsu once Natsu overcame his only disadvantage (not being able to eat his flames, making him at best a gimmick fight for Natsu, keep in mind and injured Makarov was able to nearly crush him with his Titan Magic)?  Or like Sherria, who had a good showing against a base Wendy and even then was fought to a draw by a weaker opponent.  Or maybe Orga...who was oneshotted by Jura.

END Is an endgame hyped up Zeref's ultimate demon supposedly stronger than Tartaros, strong enough for Acnologia to feel its a threat, strong enough to rival and kill Zeref and so on.

Gray is what? An FT member who can do some ice tricks and who without his father's convenient asspull power-up demon slayer gift should not even be threat to Lucy/Erza/Mira/Wendy/Gajeel/etc let alone the supposedly strongest creation of Zeref.

Keyword there is "supposedly."  Zeref was supposedly the ultimate source of evil in the world (not in those words exactly, but you know how propaganda works).  Sabertooth was supposedly the strongest guild in Fiore after Tenrou (except for Lamia Scale never actually trying by signing Jura and Lyon up).  E.N.D. was supposedly the founder of Tartaros (turned out Mard was just crazy.  Way to shit on your last interesting villain, Mashima).  Serena was supposedly the strongest mage in Fiore (...lol).  See where I'm going with this?  Also, two things:

1. Acno himself denies that E.N.D. is a threat to him and even now he seems to care more about killing Dragon Slayers then going after the book/E.N.D..

2.  It's never been confirmed that E.N.D. can even kill Zeref.  All we have are assumptions and expectations by him and Mard.  Even when Natsu was in FDK Mode Zeref only thought it might work.  Otherwise, if E.N.D. could kill him all along, why didn't he?  Or why didn't Zeref just immediately awaken him and let E.N.D. kill him?

Dimaria fight and most of spriggan fights were bullshit. But this like bullshit^squared. Hell this fight should not even be happening in the first place, since the only reason it is happening is because Mashima felt it fitting to have Gray act dumb and stand in the way of the only thing capable of killing Zeref.

That I will not argue.  This whole arc seems to be made of bullshit.

In a world of good writing - Gray's role at most would be about getting knocked out by a single punch, while we focus on LUCY(aka the actual  heroine of the manga) trying to bring Natsu back

In world of MASHIMA writing we instead got a rehash of that shitty avatar arc scene but with even more Gray-wanking. And with some Erza wank on top of that.

So...you want her role to be furthering Natsu's storyline even more (by playing Betty Ross to his Hulk)?  Weren't you the main guy who raised a stink about Layla getting fridged just to bring the dragonslayers over (not that you were wrong, mind.  I think it's BS too.  Especially since the only ones who know are the celestial spirits and Zeref so to the general population she just died one day.  Well, Lucy and Brandish know now, so there's that, I guess.)?

Huge missed opportunity, Hiro easily could have had Juvia activate her rain ability due to sadness over Gray fighting Natsu and probably soon to die(Just got mortally wounded by stabbing himself earlier) and as a result end up letting Gray know she was alive.

Fight scene between Natsu and Gray makes no sense. Natsu can move during stopped time. Why is Gray not swatted aside instantly? Demon Slayer magic is nowhere near enough if he is on that level.

Erza apparently learned to teleport, since there is no way she could have reached those two in time. She doesn't even use an armor to try to block their two attacks, what is wrong with you Hiro? She was already having trouble with fighting multiple opponents at once(Historia) and as someone already pointed out, unable to do more than hold off against multiple Berserk'd soldiers, who are obviously far less than Natsu or Gray's power.

Let me guess. When the war is over and Universe One magic is gone, Makarov's last stand statue (AKA his corpse) will be at the center of the guild hall.

It's gonna be placed on the pedestal where Lumen Histoire was as a memorial.

Makarov is a scum. The way he talked to Mavis in last chapter was cheap. She named him and raised him and she helped him and the other too many time, she even created the guild and was perhaps the reason he was born. But his last word was a ShiroHige-Death-Remake-Fail. He'll be forgotten (even faster than Neji :p)

Rex_Connor said:
Erza fucking sucks. Just a  terrible character

If we talk character, Erza may be the best FT character (the guild). But she's too strong for no reasons. Mashima-sensei wanted to make her as strong as Guts (Even the Berserker Armor :p ) She assisted most of the member emotionally. She's like the elder sister.

Just jump to Zeref, we want to read more of him and the God that cursed him.

PLEASE, DON'T REVIVE MAKAROV WHEN THE WAR IS OVER. I KNOW THIS IS GOING TO HAPPEN BUT PLEASE NO T-T

Mavis never raised Makarov, she was away from the guild shortly after he was born and she was trapped inside the crystal when Makarov is growing. Also Mavis only truly help them twice throughout the series. Once in the Tenrou Island and the other time in the GMG.
