Fairy Tail Chapter 490 Discussion

The problem here is this is probably one of the conclusion arcs of the series.
And this arc is the worst arc in the entire fairy tail (excluding that horrendous filler of celestial spirit's rebellion), even worst than GMG. That's simply not acceptable considering this arc will feature Zeref, Acnologia, etc
Past arcs might have followed there same formula, but at least they made sense in how the enemy was defeated. All shounen's end results are known to us, depends on how it's carried out.
For eg: Jellal, this guy was a saint, but his loss made sense. Why? He held back the entire time due to tower, and by the time he decided to go all out it was too late.
Oracion sies - midnight fight was one of the best moments for Erza.
Zero - made sense cause Natsu absorbed the powers of someone on par with zero
Well even some fights in this arc are debateable, like Erza vs. Ajeel, Laxus vs. Wahl, Wendy & Cheria vs. DiMaria. Tho the others are trash to say the least, especially Neinheart and forgot his name the one Natsu and Lucy defeated, very disappointing. Gajeel's fight was... somewhat okay, and God Serena KO-ed by Acnologia, like it or not, that's probably the most 'legit' way, since Acnologia is arguably the strongest character in the series (so far), it would've been nice to see more of God Serena, but as I said his defeat is legit. Oh and Brandish is just trash, mostly her personality, Hiro made her too OP and needed a reason to put her out of the war.

And here people were CONVINCED that Zera was dead. And now we have a literal asspull of her appearing her for no reason on top of Gajeel randomly being alive.
Hooo boy I can't believe how trashy this got.
I expected nothing and I was still disappointed.
End this already, Mashima. FT is beyond saving now. Just get on with writing a new manga, which hopefully will be on level of Rave or at least FT Tartaros.

No matter how shitty it gets, there will always be millions of shipper girls and 14 year old thirsty kids who would still read this for pairings and fanservice, and claim it's the best manga of all time.
For eg, just see myanimelist ratings, more than 75% people put 5/5 or 4/5 no matter how shitty a chapter gets.
I would still read this to it ends, but this is faaar from my fav manga that it used to be.
Quick question...Why the **** are you reading this if you hate this and think it as trash? seriously? I want honest answer not trying to bash or anything (>_<)
My reasons for reading this:
1.) I have faith that Hiro can do better. After GMG, he did a much better arc Tartarus (not as great as people say it is, but was definitively good IMO)
2.) Fairy tail is my first anime (apart from Dbz, naruto and Pokemon which I watched when I was 10), it was the anime that got me into the world of manga and anime 5 years back, when I was 15. And no matter what others say, the first 120 episodes were epic IMO (actually enjoyed them for the most part, except for Natsu and Lucy lol), and the first 50 episodes were the best in any shounen by far(my opinion, don't bash)
3.) Because of reason 2, I have a personal attachment to fairy tail. I might seem as a hater, but what I actually want is for this manga to get better cause I legit care for it instead of accepting it as how it is, cause it's worse than GMG now TBH.
My problems with fairy tail now:
1.) Villains treated like utter shit. Hyped up to fail horrendously - Bradman killed by 3 regular punches after 25+ chapters of hype, are you kidding me? Actually all Spriggans except Serena (and then died -_-) and August were disappointing.
2.) Wasting God Serena and other GOI. They were hyped for more than 150 chapters and then had an off screen fight. At least it made Serena look epic, but wait, then he got one shotted to a character that needs no more hype.
3.) Characters who kept me to the series and were my favs were shitted on - Erza (used to be the best,she became......), Laxus, Jellal, lissana. I mean they really got their characters destroyed. Right now I only like Gray and Gajeel (not anymore if he's back) in the protagonist side.
4.) Plot holes on chapter 465. People say it's awesome cause of revelations and Zeref appearing. But it made the one good arc of fairy tail pointless, made Atlas flames look like a complete idiot and shitted on all the emotions showed by Mard Do you seriously think he was lying? The guy showed legit emotions for END as if he was a close friend, got angry when someone talked shit about END, almost cried in the end cause he failed to resurrect END and was ready to risk his life to resurrect him. And now you say they were lies? BS. To me is seemed as if mashima really planned on END being all that, then chickened out later.
I swear this is the worst arc of the manga. I would still read fairy tail, but I hate hiro for making an arc like this with the highest potential a shit.. I know he can do better, but he doesn't want to. He shits on his own manga and disrespects the sanity of his readers
Lisanna had her character destroyed? How? she has been consistently useless and hostage fodder every step of the way.
She was an amazing background character before she got revived. Natsu's and her past was sad IMO, gave development to Natsu and was basically a ghost of his past- girl he loved but failed to protect.
All that changed after she came back.
Any "normal" mind would have rekindled their relationship after that, but no, after lissana have a huge hug to Natsu, they never even talked or met. She got terribly sidelined and Natsu treats her like fucking Vijeeter.
I know Hiro wants Nalu, but Nalu makes zero sense with lissana around. He should never have bought her back in the first place.
Now she's just a canon fodder, sidelined and useless 😠
Shame on Hiro for doing that😠

O__O Eileen Competently changed landscape inside of Fiore....and made Zeref arrive to where the Mavis is....well quite Nice way to say...Check-MATE! Damn she is Powerful! Grand Enchanter Title is not just for the Bluffing and showing up it seems....Eileen is a Bad ASs.
Oh, but looks like she cannot chose where herself is sent off too...but...She is so going to conquer Fiore Capital's Mercurio Palace...

Not because i don't like him, it's just that i hate when a character shows up out of nowhere when he's supposed to be dead. His farewell chapter was done in a nice way, but if he really turns out to be still alive then the only thing i could say is thanks for the wasted panels Hiro bruh.
The fs was expected and didn't mind it at all. Still, i would like to finally see some real development for the Nalu ship rather than just Natsu feeling the softness of Lucy's airbags.
A good moment for that could be a team fight vs Irene. :P
The story with Zera got my attention. Hoping for some nice flashback there. What i hope to not see is Erza calling Irene mommy though..
